I think that ME was the worst release of OS from M$.It looked good on the outside but had major problemswith third party addon hardware. After a few BSODsI decided to happily go back to W98SE instead ofgoing ahead to WXP. Too many things happeningbehind the scene in XP for my comfort. heh.

Gmail has been in beta forever..that doesnt mean that theyare not productively usable. In fact, they have been usable for a very long time. Beta is just a technical defintion they are using until they open registration to the public. But then again, I am not too sure whether they ever will! It seems to be a control strategy to use invites to increase their user base, just to ensure people get an account *and* use it actively. IMHO, at 1GB, it will take a long long time to fill it up. And before you can, they will probably up the allocation further. just my 0.02

You are damn right they are. Its all a fabrication. Its all just to win viewershipand ratings. Its really getting disgusting how they fake so many things. The first Survivor was great because almost everyone was new to that kind of reality show. But now they have all turned into pure circuses (as someone mentioned earlier). Whats more they keep bringing it back year after year!

Well they really try to find ways to get people to find additionalways to use their mobile phone. Text messages is fine. MMS addsmore creativity in sending messages. GPRS got people payingthrough their noses. And now they have TV !! Just imagine thebig hole its going to burn in your pockets! And they might evenget people hooked on it too. Would have been great if it was notdata bandwidth dependent, meaning if the TV programs came offthe airwaves instead.

i tried that once before and generally it works for everything that uses relative path naming. For the ones that use absolute paths and makes reference to the previous server paths, it may not work if the new server uses a different path.If that is the case, you would have to modify all such references wherever they occur. I remember I had to change some path names in the sql file before recreating some of my databases.So short answer is: yes it works but you got to know what to change.HTH
