  1. Yea I got this game awhile ago, and just like all the previoues ones I have found it to be very entertaining and fun. It's the most unique AOE and by far the most graphical one. It may not have as much as an impact as the previous ones, but it is by far the best new RTS game out there. Age of Empires III is a truly amazing game, with everything you could have hoped for, a must to buy for any RTS fan.
  2. uhh... well I love counterstrike source, I play a couple hours a day on it. So I would say my skills are fairly decent. I'll play you sometime, xfire me @ gotgroove77
  3. First off, console will never have the capabilities of a computer, the fact why that is, is because you create a console with a computer, so therefore it is limited to what a computer can do. And AOE on PS2 is just plain stupid. Whoever thought RTS games would work on a console was seriously stupid. An RTS requires the WHOLE keyboard, which is ussually 104 keys I believe, along with a mouse and two more main button. How many do consoles have? not that many i tell you, in fact, 4 controllers plugged in won't have that many. So would I approve AOE on PS2? No. Just look at StarCraft, one of the best time selling pc games of all time, and look at the console version... crap
  4. well i think it would be cool to live in garry mod for half life 2. Cuz you can do w/e you feel like. Pasue time, move stuff, freeze stuff in the air, controll people, spawn anything that's in the game and SO much more. Other than that maybe like, the sims, and have some robot do everything for me, and if i ever need money i could jsut say rosebud, lol. That would be the life....
  5. wel.... you could buy a few hamsters and a wheel and have them run on power it... ever think about that? it's an amazing way to pwoer stuff these days, lol j/k
  6. it is without a doubt that mmo's have come very far these past couple years, with GuildWars and the fanominal World of Warcraft, mmo's will be changed forever! Although graphics may not be high in these games, the gameplay and storyline go very deep. Today games offer you to play alongside 1,000's of other players at the same time all over the world! MMO's have coem very far and I can't wait to see what the new Windows OS can provide for these games
  7. This is a letter from my friend Notice from jlhaslip: Should've been quoted. Please use the bbcode quote tags in future. Thanks.
  8. AHHH!!!! my dog puked everywhere and my mom is making me clean up ALL of it! Ugh. Do any of you have mutts that puke on a regular basis? Is this a common problem? If so please reply, I'm trying to figure out if there's a common reason/cause for the problem, hopefully we can find a solution or make it better.
  9. Yea I have 2 sets of stairs, which are really cool. You can walk up and down them and have fun and race my dog up them, my friend though, man.... He has like this awesome spriral stair case that we always make stupid videos on. But my girlfriend has 3 sets of stairs... that makes me jealus...

  11. I have a Motorola Razr V3, which I have to admit is a really cool phone, but I have been having a problem with the keypad. But other than that it is amazing, it has a really nice speaker phone, it plays mp3's and it has a super fast internet connection.-Jeremy
  12. Hello, Can anyone help me? I own a Motorola Razr V3 and the only key that works is the on off button. I have never dropped it and i take excellent care of my phones. It was working fine for a few months and one day it just stopped working. The screen still works and I can awnser phone calls by opening the flip part, but I can't call anyone or text or anything that requires pushing a button unless it is to turn it on or off. I hace looked online and it seemse other people ahve had this problem but no one ever had a solution. Should I try to fix it? Should I jsut get it replaced? I don't know what to do... Someone please help me, I can't go much longer without a phone and I need to know if there is a way I can fix this. I called customer support but they had nothing to tell me. Please reply back, and thank you for caring.-Jeremy
  13. My Top 10 Favorite Games in order are: 1. StarCraft2. Rainbow Six Series3. Counter-Strike Series4. Age of Empires Series5. Goldeneye6. World of Warcraft7. Halo8. Half-Life Series9. Unreal Tournament Series10. F.E.A.R.
  14. I would deffinetly say that StarCraft is the best game of all time! What other game has shaped the future for future RTS games? Age of Empires comes close, but StarCraft has withstoud the test of time, having free internet multiplater database with millions of players still today playing world wide, makes this game truly amazing! StarCraft came out 8 years ago and is still considered to many as thier favorite game. With amazing gameplay, incredibly balanced units and a truly unique style of gaming, makes this game one of the most if not the most replayable game. Maybe the graphics are outdated by now, but nothing else! I give starcraft 98% and the best game of all time award.
  15. There isn't a single contradiction on that list that isn't inaccurate. Just so ya know, tell me some of the contradictions YOU believe are true, and I'll point out their inaccuracy as a "contradiction." Also, you should read a post I wrote about the "secular" evidence for what it claims. It is the MOST accurate of all historical documents ever written or published, and as for the "translation errors", it has fewer than any other ancient text, period. If you decide to post back on this, I'll be MORE than glad to respond and show you all the info I have. I understand where you're coming from, and I respect that you attempt to not insult Christians, and that it seems like you're open to actually learning about the Bible...whether it's true or not, accurate or not, etc. Also, when you say "narrow minded sexist and ignorant" I hope you're not talking about Jesus. Ignorant is about the furthest from truth you can get, and I can understand where you get sexist from, and to be honest...anyone who believes and IS and KNOWS beyond a shadow of a doubt something is true...would seem narrow-minded to anyone else who doesn't believe. I don't think it's proper to call Jesus narrow-minded, especially since in essence, each of us who stand firm on what we believe are "narrow-minded."
  16. I agree wholeheartedly that we should defend our faith if it's attacked. I'll never "attack" atheism, but I'll tell you where I stand and what I believe. I won't hold it against anyone, or discredit anyone because they're an atheist. If someone's willing to tell me about how they don't believe in God, I think it's fair for me to tell them that i DO believe in God. If someone attacks my faith, and says more than just "I don't believe" but instead attacks what my faith teaches, when they don't even believe, I'll step up and defend my faith. For whatever reason, a lot of people do take it that way. I think it's just immaturity when someone attacks our faith, we defend, and they say "stop cramming it down my throat." Unless of course, we keep going...and going...and going...like some Christians I know. That WOULD be considered cramming it down peoples' throats.
  17. Thank you VERY much for this statement CroSpartacus. I believe this was right on the money. For whatever reason, it seems like our faith can be persecuted and insulted, but once we step up to defend it, people say we're "shoving it down their throats." I also agree with Wild20 that since I believe I know a truth that can redeem, bring healing, empower, and save so many people, I want to proclaim it. Obviously I'm not going to proclaim this truth to someone who tells me straightforward "I don't want to hear it!" Christ Himself didn't do that, He spoke to those who would listen.

    Gay Marriage

I think if you did slightly more research, you'd find that it is more commonly transmitted through same-sex intercourse than any other method. MANY biologists believe it was the result of the "improper mixing of hormones" between same sex physical intimacy that created the virus. Those dates, as for 1940s and 1981, really don't show much, because no one truly knows when AIDs was first around, simply because prior to those times, we didn't have accurate methods for discovering the virus.

Ok well, how about Man...Woman...and the scientific reason for reproduction? There's comin' from the Christian guy lol. No religion, just science, the fact of what our sexual organs were intended for, the purpose they're intended for, and nothing more than that. No religion involved. Oh and how about AIDs, and other bilogical occurrences that happen as a result? I recognize that AIDs are quite possible in straight relationships as well, but they were brought around by homosexuality, and if homosexuality can cause things like AIDs, and then someone decides to try to have a real child with someone of the opposite sex who's maybe bi-sexual or straight, that can cause some pretty unnerving things in the child that is produced.
  20. Thank you for the encouragement wild20. I would like to make a quick remark about this statement below though. I thoroughly believe that if you turn to God, and truly submit your life to Him, He will show you the way. I will guarantee anyone who accepts Christ and surrenders to the Holy Spirit that this is true. But I also believe you can't "try God out" like ask Him for direction without having a relationship with Him, and expect Him to do anything for you. Nor do I believe you can just say "ok i'll try...God if there's a God...show me the way" I think His guidance and direction comes as a result of the relationship you have with Him...which is why I believe there are so many "ex-Christians" who "tried it and it didn't work." You may not live what you profess, but you WILL live what you truly believe. If you profess to be a Christian but don't believe it, then no...it wont "work for you." Definitely accurate about the statement tho as long as you have a true relationship with Christ.
  21. lol I'll agree to that. Even as a local youth pastor I get people who come by here all the time, generally Jehovah's Witnesses. I'll say that I respect their mission and willingness to have a million doors a day slammed in their faces, but I agree that the best way to share your beliefs with someone is NOT to ring their doorbell with a "No Soliciting" sticker on it, or any other doorbell for that matter. I share my beliefs with either those who ask, or those who are friends with me. I also do believe that opportunities arise to share my faith, but I don't force those opportunities on anyone.
  22. I must first ask you to state "I believe" before you decide to slam on someone else's beliefs. I will never throw down what you believe, but I'll respect it...I just won't agree lol. But there's nothin' wrong with disagreeing on something, as long as we're respectful. For whatever reason, I can't understand why people look at religion as a safety net. My charge to you, if you believe SOOO much that there's nothing after this but death and "six feet under" is why do you even abide by the law then? Rather than just galavant around and do whatever pleases you most? If there's truly nothing to this but our few years before death, why isn't everything a big party? We go to school, go to work, try to get up in society...just to die? I don't get the point...I think people who run from religion are the ones hiding from something...I think they are trying to hide from an accountability they don't want to accept. As a Christian minister, I know that we are held accountable to our lives, and as a teacher myself, I'm held to even higher accountability, and stricter judgement, according to the Bible. So if I truly wanted to run from something or was scared, I think religion would be the last place I'd look, especially Christianity, if you actually know what the Bible REALLY says.
  23. Regarding the issues I've seen rise from this topic, I've got a couple things to say, as a Christian youth leader myself. First and foremost, I am NOT afraid to die. I know where I stand, and I don't share or spread my beliefs and the Bible around to claim my position in heaven. My position in heaven is solidified by my acceptance of the atonement for my sins Christ made when He died on the cross. Basically...I sinned and therefore broke my relationship with God, and lost my place in heaven. Because of my sins, there's a debt, a penalty...that needs to be paid. I believe that Jesus Christ, who was God in human form, came down and died on the cross to take the punishment of death for me, that my debt is paid if I accept and believe in it. Therefore, I go to heaven. It has nothing to do with my sins or telling other people...it's by that faith alone. It doesn't help my chances any by staying a virgin or not...it's all about faith. Next, regarding that, well, one of the awesome things about God is that He gives us free will. How could God truly love us, and use His power to make us love Him and choose Him? That wouldn't be love. His love allows us to freely choose who to serve, either Him or ourselves. Next thing is the whole, "happy couple" thing. I think you're confusing "happy" for "sexually satisfied." A couple can be perfectly happy and not be sexually active. I don't see where the contradiction is that you're speaking of. Baptism is our symbol of publicly declaring that we've decided to follow Christ, and accept His authority in our lives. It's a one time thing because it shows that when we're submerged, we die to ourselves and are cleansed of our sins, past, present, and future, and when we come up, it shows our rebirth as a new creation in Christ. A person who now has accepted God into His life. As for the satan controlling our emotions, that another common misconception about the Christian faith. I don't believe so much that satan controls our emotions, as I believe it's impossible to please God unless we're saved. It is very clear that satan's strongest weapon is deception, which means he decieves people into not realizing what they're doing, and without accepting Christ into your life, which means His spirit comes into your heart and convicts you of wrong and encourages you to please God, you can't please God. You can do good things, but if it's not in the faith that you're pleasing God, then you still aren't in the right relationship with God that you should be in. It's not the satan "controls your emotions." As for that, well, a Christian who has allowed God to come in as the authority in their life doesn't "go ballistic" when a non-Christian doesn't understand or disagrees. My only goal is to tell you what I believe, and display the love that I have in my life, that you would freely choose to accept it. I know exactly where I stand, and what other people think of me is no consequence. I will never be held accountable to another human, so why should I care what they think? One day I will be held accountable to God, and He will know whether I accepted the gift of salvation He gave me through His son, Jesus Christ, or not. That's all that matters. "Looking to religion for safety will only help for a short time" is definitely something I disagree with. It's because of my faith that I am empowered to live a life that exemplifies love, purpose, oh and the "fruits of the Spirit" basically, the things produced by one who lives their life in faith, which are "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." I am able to live those characteristics consitently in my life because of the faith I have, and there's nothing short-term about that, nor about my eternity, after I die. And as for the "world and our life is a lie" I'm not sure what you're saying. If it's all a lie, then what are we doing with laws and jobs and all this stuff here on earth? If it's a lie then what's truth? This is the ultimate question I always wonder about for those who don't believe in God...what really is this all about then? We just live and die and all we really are is another animal on earth with just a higher intelligence? That's kinda dismal to know you're here then gone and there really was no good reason except existence. I don't hold that belief against anyone who believes it, but I definitely do care, (and not for myself), but I definitely do care to understand your belief. I live my life to and dedicate my time and energy to helping those who are willing to listen know what I believe, with hopes that they will one day accept these truths in their life and have the same joy and security I have. A huge part of that is understanding, and this isn't for selfish gain, it's only because I care. Now, you may not live what you profess, but you'll definitely live what you believe. And if you believed someone you cared about was living on a cliff that was about to have like a land-slide or somethin, you'd prolly actually try and talk to them or do something. Now if you said you believed it was gonna land-slide, but really didn't believe it, you probably wouldn't do much of anything. I truly believe what I believe, and therefore I will live my life that way. I really do wish to understand what your beliefs are, and I promise you that I won't bash you or hold them against you or disrespect your beliefs. They're what you believe and they matter to you, and because I care for your life, I just want to know. Hopefully this will bring to light some controversial beliefs about Christians.
  24. Glad to be here!! I look forward to discussing topics with you as well. I hope that there would be some non-Christians who reply to this topic as well, as one of my goals as a minister is to know people, whether they believe or not, and what things they find respectable, honorable, and so forth. I am a student of multiple things lol, mainly Christ and His word, but also of people. I hope to see some more topics between us!!
  25. Well, despite what these guys say lol, what's in the best interest of everyone? If you haven't already like...pursued somethin' with the girl, she'll be fine with or without you, and nobody will be hurt. If you've already shown interest and taken some steps, it's a lil different story. You can either be the guy that puts your own interests first before others, or the guy that looks out for both his friends even at his own loss sometimes, but I tell ya that'll go a whole lot further for the girl that you'll end up with for life.
