I'm sorry but this game is horrible. I played this game about 3 years ago or so, maybe not that far back but a while ago. I know its not the highest tech for graphics, but graphics are a fun factor for me, and after trying it out I just couldn't stand it, or figure out with so many people play it. Glad some people enjoy it though

I've been playing FFXI on and off for a long time now. I don't have that high of level chars, only 37 thf 20 nin and 35 whm, but I was wondering if anyone here plays to talk about it, and meet others that play. I'm on Valefor and my name is Initial. If you play on this world, send me a /tell sometime.

I also wonder when this will update itself. I was looking around and some of the images are years and years old. In Seattle by one of the docks, there are docks t here with no boats and trees. But when I was there less then a month ago, there were boats and no trees there. I know its a cool thing to have, but at leat have updated images.

initial replied to Arin Sky's topic in Computer Gaming
What's the link to this site? I'm currently wrapped up with FFXI so I probably won't play it, but I'll check it out. I think its cool that there is french servers, but probably only because I speak french lol. -
Dungeons & Dragons Online Next MMORPG to be released.
initial replied to Trystim's topic in Computer Gaming
I was excepted into the alpha testing I think the second group of people that were allowed in. It is unique that you are able to fight in these different dungeons or whatever. But The content for me just wasn't pleasing. I lost interest in the game quickly, and haven't played it since. I guess this game just isn't made for me to like. -
I use to play this about 3 or 4 years ago when the game was first release with no expansions. At the time the graphics were great, and I really enjoyed playing the game. It helped me open up to try other MMOs that are out ready to play.

I really tried to play this game and like it. I heard so many good reviews about it and friends telling me it was really fun. But to me graphics do make up a lot of whether or not I like the game. And personally I really disliked this game. I came from playing FFXI and just couldn't get use to the game. Since I have gone back to playing FFXI and haven't stopped loving it. But I know that some will always enjoy the content that WoW has to offer.

How Long Have You Been Programming ?
initial replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Programming
I guess I started when I was about 12, teaching myself html, but that really isn't true programming. From there I was fascinated with this, and created many sites and became more advanced. I took many programming classes, such as VB 6, C, and C++ classes. I have always loved messing around with things. Now I will be continuing and learning C#. Hopefully it won't be too bad because of my knowledge with c and c++ -
This is a really great site. A good place for people to get templates without any experience. I remember when I use to search endlessly looking for the 'right' one. But I think for my next project I would like to create my own, and being able to say that I created this, and no one else can use it. It would be something I think to be proud of. Thanks for the link! Great site!

Deviantart.com art gallery
initial replied to lacking_imagination's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I've been visiting this site for many years. And I agree that this is a very well put together art site with a lot of amazing art. Sadly I am no where good enough to do any sort of art with computers. But it is still fun and amazing to see what people come up with. -
The Big Bang: Did It Really Happen?
initial replied to webdesignunlimited's topic in Science and Technology
I believe in this theory. Though there is no real evidence of this ever happening, there is evidence of the 'residue' left behind that was created when this 'bang' happened. There are so many galaxies in the universe, that something had to trigger this. And still, in present time galaxies are being born and colliding, merging into a single elliptical galaxy. -
Ipods Are Overrated seriously, they are
initial replied to Shooting Star Haven's topic in Science and Technology
iPods are seriously a joke! I agree. Everyone you see has one, and I just don't get it. For the size of a player, I think you totally get ripped off, its all for the name! I own a sony vaio which has a 40gig hdd, with color screen. I personally think I would perfer this over ANY iPod. I mean soon they will have iPods that are phones! and not just phones with iTunes either... -
I started playing this game the day it was released. Sadly I tried to join beta to late into, but oh well? I played the game on and off for almost 2 years, enjoying all of it, until the end. I was determined to get the Emperors Hairpin in Valk dunes, but literally of over two months of camping and and not getting the drop, my love for the game also diminished. If anyone else plays this game maybe you could help boost my morale of playing this game again.... i played on Valefor for anyone that does play.

We picked the game up about two months ago. From the box the game didn't look all that bad. But once in the game it just wasn't appelling to me. Gameplay wasn't fun to me. Almost wish I didn't buy the game. But then again it probably goes back to what your preference of playing a game is. Could be exciting to some out there!

Hl2 Halo2 Doom3? which one do you think is the best?
initial replied to Killer008r's topic in Computer Gaming
Between Halo and Halo 2 all the difference I see is being able to use 2 guns and more multiplayer maps... and Doom 3... well no matter your graphics card... you're just going to lag.. HL2 though.... I just loved this game. Graphics and gravity features just blew me away. Story was deep and loved how it continued on. Though it did get weird in the end, the gameplay that it gave me playing it was wonderful... I can't wait for expansions to come out for it. -
When CSS first came out, I wasn't too sure about it. I mean the graphics were just so much better, but if it didn't go well with the community then hardly anyone would play it, such as with EQ and EQ2. But over time I realized that it was in fact more realistic, and balanced better then the previous release. After getting use to it, I have stuck with CSS since.

I've played all three stages of this game. I just loove this game! I play it at least a few times a week. Even though its a dollar a race, its just super addicting! I race a yellow fd. About a month ago I beat the game for the first time, and am now on bunta's challenge. Its not too popular where I live but some friends of mine play it. I just can't get enough of it. I love how you evolve through the game, when you first start not knowing how the game works and learning to drift. And battling through the game to get aura, and learning to drive the hairpins and s-curves! Hopefully a new stage will come out! That would be awesome!

Electronic Arts: The Human Story White Collar Slave Drivers?
initial replied to Mastermund's topic in Computer Gaming
Really big shock to read this from such a huge company such as EA. I've always enjoyed playing their games. But what big company doesn't have dirty secrets that they don't want anyone knowing. Fast food companies are horrible, brand name clothing stores have slave labor.... theres always something out there for there to be a shocker. It is too bad to hear this though. -
How Would You React To Finding Old Games Suddenly?
initial replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Gaming
I still get out my NES and play Dragon Warrior 4, I love that game. Same with my SNES and play all the mario games. I love those games ... and always will. Theres just some gameplay in older games that even though graphics are no where even near to what they are today, but gameplay is just as fun or even better. I also love getting out all the megaman games and playing those. Gotta love gettin all those powers! -
Hands down I'd have to say WoW. The depth is huge, and the world is that much bigger! Even though I don't care for the graphics that much... it's still a great game. I just started playing it, and it's taking me a bit to get use to it, because I just got done playing FFXI. Hopefully this game will turn out the best for me

When you first register it, even though its a single player game, you have to be online for it to register. For safety precautions so people don't use same cd key and stuff, even though it is very annoying. Once you have done this you SHOULD be able to just play the game. But like as previously said, sometimes it checks to see if you're online. I think it's all rediculous. But once you've register just make sure you link it with your steam account, and all should be fine. Now only if you could buy DOD Source in a store...
