main problem with 'undeletable files' is that they are read only. other possibility is that they are in use by a process, quite possible a windows required process. the only way to get rid of that, is to write an app (or find one) to delete it on startup, before the process that uses the file is called. if anyone needs and example app, ill be happy to write it.

awesome, i read something about this in Discover magazine, if no one has read that its an awesome magazine. soon as Intel or whoever makes first marketed photon CPU, ill sell my house for this baby. well i dont have a house, but ill work slave labor for a year for it, seriously. no more gigahertz anymore, we're talking like exohertz. imagine how fast Word would open up...

cool, very original idea. only problem i have is that its a little showy, more for fun than for actual usage. Its pretty cool you can have audio streams (podcasts), photos, even games on it. its fairly new (released march 2005), so i think there will be updates and improvements on it. thanks for sharing this, ive never heard of it prior!

Abortion : For Or Against Abortion? Share ur views on ABORTION?
sharpz replied to Milk's topic in General Discussion
i personally am against it, but wouldnt prevent others from having one. i think kids should be educated with what exactly happens when an abortion occurs, and how far along the fetus actually is. i think that it should have a chance to live, no matter the circumstances. young girls should not have the option to choose, their parents should choose for them, even if they would get in trouble when their parents found out. -just my opinion -
you might have to insert your office xp cd key, if not search for proflus.msi on google or something. otherwise, make sure you DID download the right package.

the light blue and green makes it almost crayola looking, you might want to try darking the shades and making sure the banner matches your colors, currently, it looks nothing like the actual site, so it kind of jars the eyes going down from the banner to the content. also, the top and bottom of the content boxes dont exactly fit onto the tables, you might want to check that out . good effort though, keep it up!

World Of Warcraft: Burning Crusade WoW Expansion Pack
sharpz replied to Moody's topic in Computer Gaming
i dont think ill buy it if there is no new classes. also, if the alliance race is panderan, that means even more little kids on alliance, and not nearly enough horde to pvp against. i heard the expansion will be coming out in may, can anyone verify this? -
the most common cause of slowness in wireless routers would be your just dont have a strong signal strength from your current location. to test, move the receiver close to the router and see if it improves, otherwise its either: the host your downloading from, your using a proxy, or other people on your network using bandwidth.

i dont think VB programs can be directly run as a service, what you could do instead is just add it to the registry under startup ( HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Windows > current version > run ) and it will startup and run fine

one program cannot access the other programs variables (without accessing the memory directly) , but you could run the SMALL program by calling " System("SMALL.exe -param -param2 -param3"); but you would need to include <windows.h> to use the System() function. a better method would be to put the code from SMALL into a .cpp file and if you are using visual studio, if you include it in the workspace it will be compiled with the program.

you could try factoring first. add a loop to check all integers beetween 1 and the number are evenly divisible. use the modulus operator ( % ) to check if there is a remainder or not when you divide. if you look on google, you can see many examples of prime numbers and factoring in C++ such as http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/13192-prime-number/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

5th gen ipod, such a waste of money, they should just reduce the size of the 40gig ipod for people who want lots of songs, and dont want to watch a tiny video with a short battery life anyway, thats what portable video players are for

RuneScape USED to be a fun game, up until they ruined the PVP aspect of it by adding the wilderness I played it up until then, but then i couldnt stand it anymore and now im playing World of Warcraft, a much better and more thought out game IMO.
