Saint-michael Reviews Norton 2k6 Norton Anti-Virus Software.
Sinister McDaddy replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Software
It sure looks like a way better program than the old 2k5 but id still stick with Zone Alarm -
I myself like only 4 Forums :- 1.a. phpbb By far my favorite forums as it is very easily customizable and the one im most comfortable with... The best part about this type is that even a newb could get the hang of it..The fact that it has Awesome Mods is good too lol.. 1.b. PhpNuke This is only for those wanting a website and being inexperienced with html and Microsoft Frontpage.. Its just like a website which can be customized easily having forums on it aswell which are just like the phpbb ones.. 2. InvisionFree Probably the 2nd best board because phpbb and PhpNuke are almost the same..Invision is very easy to use if you want a basic forum.. Making a customized one requires a bit more understanding and experience though.. 3. Vbulletin I think this may be better than Invision but i havent used it enough to give a definative statement..Ive used it on other boards though and im very impressed by the features so id Rate this at number 3.. 4. Proboards As the saying goes - "Last but not the least".. Never really liked them that much but they are too widely used to be ignored.. Ive only seen 1 "good" proboards forum that was made by a friend..Takes time to get used to..

The Best Browser In Your Opinion for WIN32/64 systems
Sinister McDaddy replied to jacob's topic in Software
I prefer FireFox 1.7.. The thing about firefox is the Tabs feature.. Way easier to use.. -
Ive seen many people saying that they use Norton or w/e.. Infact the best Firewall is ZoneAlarm by far.. If someone gets a packet spoofer and uses it on you NOrton gets screwed and they have easy access to your computer.. Zonealarm on the other hand recognizes it and is unaffected therefore undoubtably the best firewall.. A packet spoofer like the one I mentioned is xxpoof which can disable most firewalls.. The other firewalls mentioned also get spoofed easily allowing telnet and other ways to hack.. Now coming to The Anti-Virus part, ZoneAlarm and Norton are about the best you can find.. I did have some major problems with Norton so im sure that ZoneAlarm is your best friend.. The others usually dont perform as well but this is not from experience and is more of a General Statement because I simply dont have the time to try all of the aforementioned.. On the whole getting the ZoneAlarm Security Suite proves to be worth-while and helpful...
