It's not a password problem, because the error states that it is unable to connect to the Xisto server. That usually means, it's on their end, but not always the case.On a further note, some of the ads on the forums seems to not be able to connect to my computer either.

Actually, it's currently a open beta. Still, it is pretty effective at help to get real-time protection. However, not everything is perfect, so be aware of files you may download by accident that may have Spyware.

I haven't played the game, but I hae heard about Kings of Chaos. I really don't think that it is a Real-Time Strategy Game, though. This is becuse, first of all, it's a web game, becaue it uses web browsers. RTS games are typically games no using browsers.

Bad luck to you. Anyway, try hard for your next set of tests. Talk to your maths (and I'm Australian, so I spell maths with an s) teacher about it, and see why you are getting, the marks you are getting. Other than that, I guess good luck, really.

Sorry to bump this post, but I still can't access my site.

When you face such problems in your site. It will be nice if you can mention or state the following points in your post.

 

1). How many credits are there in your hosting account. Credits is important for your site to be active and alive.

 

2). Give your username so that admin can see if he has time*. I said time because admin shouldn't be taking time asking you what is your username for your site.

 

3). Your site URL. If the URL is top level domain any changes in nameserver can also effect while your account with Xisto is running and up you cannot reach your site.

 

4). Patience: Please be patient if admins and mods are not responding. Please allow them to take their own time.

Nah, its like I cant access anything on my site, and its hosted by Xisto by the way. The FTP did work before.

I've tried, a thousand times, but I seem to get a timed out message back. Just asking if there is any problems at your end.

They say 'preventition is better then a cure.' I(t's a true fact, in most term. It is also true for computer, spyware and the like.

 

The first step to have good surfing habits, that will allow you to avoid spyware altogether. Sites like some porn site, hacking. Most of the underground stuff may be dangerous for people who have little or no knowledge in spyware and threats to a computer. A person should not be touching any of those website. And if they did, God bless them.

 

As well as that, having a good set of software to actually block such viruses from coming to your computer. I saw the Microsoft software, being mentioned, as well as Spybot Search and Destory. There is also Ad-aware from Lavasoft, which you can find by googling it yourselves.

 

What to do if something does get into your computer

Well, if you have the software installed on your computer, you can use that to scan you hard drives. You can install other software, but its not recommended, because the virus could detect the software getting installed, and attempt to prevent it. If you were foolish enough to leave youself without any virus software, you can use Trend Housecall, which is an online checker. You can google that as well.

 

Now, if you can't get onto the internet, then I'm afarid you might be out of options. Some anti-virus software actually scan your drive before installation, but it's usually out-dated. Your only option might be to format your computer.

I use Glockmeister as my tag, nick, alias, whatever you call it..There's a long history to that name, but basically I founded myself pwing bots on CS, with Glocks, and my brother suggested that I should put meister next to my name, so I did, and I've had that for the pass, 3 or 4 years now.

While I can't help you personally, I can tell you, if you want to start a RPG up, you are gonna need more people to be able to get it started. Programmers, and then modellers, and all sorts of other people. And then a design document, saying basically, what you want the game to be about.It is a difficult ride, and you need to spend some money, but overall, it will probably get you soem good experience.

There was this article I read a few moths about about this issue. It tried to correlate the crime rate to releases in games, that have caused controversy. They couldn't find it, and in fact found that the crime rate for youth has actually gone DOWN. It concluded that the whole Video Games issue, didn't really exist, and that people were making it up.I will try and find that article.

That's the unfortunate fact of life. As well as that, they need to use sound too.Fortuneately, not all adverts use that. Especially for kids, who would probably not be interested in sex. Music and other 'cool' stuff that attracts kids will be used. Advertisers will use psychology a lot, to be able to attract as many people as they can.

Well, if your smart and have some sort of knowledge of keeping your software and ocmputer safe, then you shouldn't need most of the patches anyway.

You forgot about the adaptablity of the PC, compared to the Consoles.

I once played an RPG, named NeverWinter Nights. Have you guys heard of it?I love it because of the endless amount of mods that can be done for the game. This keeps the game more modern.

I think the consoles and gaming pc both have their advantages and disavantages.The console has graphics that is moving in leaps and bounds. It is protable, fairly light, and because of its nature, it is able to be playing with a couple of your mates, and a Sunday afternoon. It can't upgrade, unlike the computer, which you can replace parts as you please.The PC however, is a versitale machine, able to be upgraded as technology progesses. This would be the pc will ALWAYS be on the cutting edge of technology, whether it will be the graphics, sound or CPU speed. It is also to a fair degree, protable, however, not as much as the consoles.I still think the PC rock though.

Nicotine is the bane of all people trying to quit smoking. It's the 'addictive' drug in cigarettes. Mate, all I can say, is keep trying, and maybe see your doctor or phamicist about it.There are many factors that can cause someone to age rapidly. These can include smoking, sunlight exposure, genetics, etc.

Deagle is accurate? I think it's the most inaccurate thing, in the whole game, especially on long-ranged shots.
