I've been getting this bug quite a few times as well on Firefox (Linux), but it seems to be happening randomly.I guess the real reason for why this happens hasn't been figured out yet, which is why nothing has been done about it...yet! However, it happens only a few times so I think it shouldn't be affecting a lot of users. Still, it is undeniable that this happens only on Xisto, so the problem is definitely within the forum software, buried somewhere deep within!

There hasn't been any official word on such an exploit present in the Firefox upgrade, has there? The windows version of Firefox is bound to have a few problems now and then because, well....it runs on Windows! I haven't had any problems so far with the Linux version of Firefox and it has never given me a crash or anything else weird. That is why I stick to using Linux for Internet.

You didn't tell us whether or not you applied to Google! If you sent your resume and got this mail then there's a good chance it's a fake, because Google doesn't send executables. And if you didn't apply and still got this mail, then it's definitely a fake because Google doesn't give out jobs to random people! (no offense) It's very easy to fake the destination address and this is a classic example of how such a thing can be done easily.

I should have made myself clearer when I said it won't "work" on systems with less than 1GB RAM. You can install Ubuntu 10.10 on a system with even 256MB RAM, but it would be dreadfully slow and unresponsive. At least that's what I experienced when I installed it on two systems with a 2.3 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. Each task takes a lot of time to complete and watching videos is almost out of the picture! On a slower processor (Intel Atom) and 1GB RAM however, I found 10.04 (the previous version) ran very fast, booting up within 15 seconds, and functioning at full speed. Even now, I tried running 10.10 through the Live CD on my old system, and after booting up completely, it was very, very slow to do any task and I had to accept the fact that it just wouldn't work well enough! That's true; it will run on those PCs, but it won't be a smooth performance at all. It would be a nasty experience and new users would actually get irritated if they were trying to run it on a slower PC! Actually, new users are safe, because most people who buy computers these days get a minimum of 1GB RAM anyway, so it wouldn't make any difference to them and they would be able to enjoy Ubuntu. It is the old users who haven't upgraded their systems who face this problem.

Wow so far no one has given their opinion on the original topic of the thread, i.e., about their favourite Youtube videos, but the discussion that has been going on is interesting as well. However, I'd like to reply to what the topic asked for. The average user on Youtube watches eight hours of video per week, but I watch just around 3 hours of video, and that is usually some kind of tutorial, regarding Photoshop or some other software like Joomla, , Mambo, etc. There are a lot of channels available which teach you how to use these software easily, and I've learned quite fast, which is why I find these videos useful.There's no particular video that I can link to, but the results that appear on the first page are usually of very good quality. So if anyone is looking to use Youtube as a medium to learn something, then it's a very good idea.

So far there haven't been any issues with 10.10, and actually the major change in it is that they've fixed a lot of bugs that were present in Lucid. There might not be many changes in the appearance or the features, but the core has been updated and it is much better than Lucid. It's a shame that Ubuntu will no longer work on systems with less than 1GB RAM Lucid never worked on my old PC with 512MB RAM and Maverick is no different. If you've got 1GB RAM or more, then you can surely have a good time with this latest distro

It's a good idea to upgrade to Windows 7, but only if there is adequate hardware to support it. Otherwise it may be a bit sluggish and may not give the desired performance. That is why there are a lot of XP users who still feel that Windows 7 also hogs their system resources like Vista does, and then they say that Windows 7 is no good at all!

The reason why Google is number 1 is really simple - they never get distracted. While other search engines like Yahoo and MSN/Bing have established their web portals and integrated their search engines within their respective portals, Google held on to its search engine and didn't create portals like the others did! Helping people find what they need is the top priority for Google and all its other activities are hidden deep within, without allowing the search engine to be disturbed in any way. DNS poisoning? I've heard of that somewhere. But I haven't heard of Youtube being inaccessible for 5-10 minutes before. It might be a temporary problem because in most cases whenever a site is blocked/not accessible, the problem gets solved within a few days. In any case, asking your ISP might help, and you could try using a VPN to check if it's affecting only your IP.

There's no real problem with the issue that the OP mentioned, but the only thing that bothers some people is that due to the suggestions provided, they may get distracted and search for something else than what they were originally searching for. A lot of people easily get distracted by the various suggestions that Google gives and they may go after something else that is totally unrelated to their original search! Google can't be blamed entirely for this. It is just a feature that is extremely useful in a lot of cases and this distraction occurs only in a few instances.

I use this method myself and so far from 5 articles I have got around 20 clicks on my link. It is a slow process, to be honest, and unless you have a really large number of articles in the article directory, you will not get as many clicks on your link as you expect in the first place. The rest of the methods that you have mentioned are good and they work well, with the exception of paid back-links, which can go wrong if you get too many backlinks in a short period of time. Search Engines like sites which have a lot of backlinks, but at the same time they do not like it if a single site gets a lot of backlinks in a very short amount of time. This leads to suspicion and it may affect your rankings as well. Some people argue about how true this is, but I've seen it happen once! So while buying backlinks don't get too enthusiastic and save your money by purchasing small amount of backlinks at regular intervals.

An average computer scan lasts for at least a minute. --> Scan results appear in a separate Window, and not just beneath the drives in your computer! This page is screaming "FAKE" all along. Just don't fall in such traps. Close such tabs and scan your computer using a real anti-virus program to make sure that the malicious site didn't install anything on your drives.
