  3. You could only do this by changing a bg image, usually the bg image of the whole page, a table or a cell. You could do this by saving one css file as 'imagestyle.css and have this in it: .style1 { background: url(images/yourimage.gif)} and then you could insert this into the <HEAD> of your HTML file: <LINK rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="imagestyle.css"> and put this in the table cell of which you want the image. NOTE you should change the width and height values to the width and height values of your image <TD width="100" height="100" class="style1"> </TD> and this should work or you could; Use an external javascript to display an image, Use a random image script and only add the image you want to be shown Or simpily change the picture but keep the same filename. But if you choose this method the new image would have to be the same size in pixels other wise it will have to be streched.
  4. I am just wondering if anyone has got the Plus version.I want to know whether its worth paying the extra $20 - and what extras you get for upgrading Notice from BuffaloHELP: Naming the topic title is VERY important. Editing.
  5. Ive played one before and the garphics are 10x better then any other Portable gaming system. You can do a whole heap of things like: Watch Movies, Listen to Music, View Pictures, Personal Organizer, Oh and did I mention it Plays Games. I also think it can surf the web - how cools that. But the controls take a little while to get use to, the whole 1 anologue stick and all. But it is definetly my #1 Portable Gaming System.

    Next Gta?

There will be another GTA, 'Grand Theft Auto 4' and it will be made for the long awaited PS3. Liberty City Stories is like a subgame that is only for the PSP Gta4 will only be the 4th 3D Grand Theft Auto game, and i cant see why this game will not be a success. Another point to make is that this game is set to be released in late 2006 which is a good 2 years after San Andreas release. I think after 2 years of waiting many people will be wanting another Grand Theft Auto.
  7. GT4 Can be classed as the best driving simulator ever, but I choose to disagree. OK it is the only game to offer 700+ Cars ranging from the classic '1915 Ford Model T Tourer' to the suped up '981HP Suzuki Escado', and its always been the top Race Sim on the market, But its still not up to scratch. Unlike other popular car/racing sims (Need For Speed Underground Series, Midnight Club Series) it dose not offer a huge amount of custimisation, all it lets you do is whack on a spoiler and change the rims whilst games like NFS Underground allow you to change everything from gleaming body kits to sparkling pearlesent paintjobs and superb cutomly designed sound systems to pearsonalised tacho's.Anoter fault made by GT4 creators is that there is no damage in the game. Some people think that the game shouldnt have damage because the game would lose that Gran Turismo feel, but many more agrre that GT would be a hell of a lot better if it had damage.

  9. Just because your running a Linux or Mac dosen't mean your invulnerable to Viruses and Hacks. My friend was running on a Linux OS and his system became a victim of a virus. He now runs Win XP instead because he thought that Linux would be near invincible against Viruses but he was wrong. He also changed because of the large amount of programs that built for Windows Only.
  10. 11. I use Firefox all the time but sometimes it stuffs up on my computer like; automatically closes for some strange reason and some times it dosent even start up. There is also the downside of most websites being designed strictly for IE making them not function the way they should. Even though FF has a couple of faults it is still ten times better then Internet Explorer, which is way 2 slow, is prone to viruses, downloads dont always work, and the list goes on Internet Explorer users: Click Here immediately
  12. My computer is my.. second most valuable tool to me, you can guess my #1. I use my pc for things like;Surfing the webAnswering EmailsChatting with friendsListenting to musicPlaying GamesWatching moviesDownloading stuffBuying stuffWeb design
  13. Ah lt me thinki must have ran Windows 95 with 64Mb Ram, 5GB Harddrive, 28k modem, with a 12IN monitor.Yeh it was pretty *darn* slow but I still remeber playing old DOS games on it and browsing the olde World Wide Web
  14. I had a very similar problem to yours; iTunes seemed to be playing but no sound, but other apps like Windows media player played fine.I tried fixing it for a couple of days and stumbled across a post in some forum that said sometimes itunes glitches up and dosent play certain types of files namely apples .mp4 proply. So I checked what type of files i had use and yes I had got iTunes to change them all to the .mp4 format and to put them in that *darn* iTunes back up directory thing. So i added an mp3 file to my library and like magic it worked. Then i clicked back on a .mp4 file and it worked, since then I have had no problems

  16. Good Find it seems to be working a bit better but why dont Mozilla set these settings as the default or at least have a simple setting in Tools that allows you to speed up or slow down you browser?
  17. Somethin is wrong with Yahoo messager 7. I downloaded it and installed it and whenever I click sign in it dosent respond. I then restarted my computer and retryed but still no responde so I download and installed it again and this time the messenger smile face comes up and it appears to load but it dosent load anything.I think ill just stick to MSN for the moment
  18. I always thought that companys had to stop calling them laptops and start calling them notebooks because people kept complaing and sueing companys for describing them as LAP TOPS (meaning to be placed on top of the lap), and when you sit a Laptop or Notebook on your lap for extended periods it gets really hot and can burn you. But I guess thats noit true because some companys still call them Laptops
  19. I recently found a program that offered many of dreamweavers html editing features; color coding, etc. but in a simple Manual Coding Html way like Notepad. It's called HTML Kit and its free to download, I use it as my main manual html editor rather then Notepad and I only use Dreamweaver for some 1 off things Click Here to download a free version of HTML Kit
  20. Hi does anyone have a code to close the browser window. This code needs to be used to close an actual full sized window, not a pop-up window.
  21. You could use Frames (or iframes), <PHP include file//>, Server-side includes or just simpily redirect users straight to the forums: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://webdesign.about.com/">
  22. Its pretty good but the splash screen does take a while to load, and your logo is a little sketchy but apart from that it seems like a pretty nice siteOh and I would put the Shoutout Box on the right and the navigation on the left.
  23. I think if you want to design a good website youll need a WYSIWYG editor, unless you totally understand and know how to write HTML, CSS, etc. I dont think that there are many free WYSIWYG editors out there, so yeah I would just borrow Dreamweaver or just download a Trial version of it.
  24. Rove use to be funnier but he's not even that funny anymore, hell his co. peter helliar is funnier then him.A better show then Rove is The glass house, Its got the best ozzie comedian there is on it DAVE HUGHS.
  25. GTA is definatly one of the most popular gaming series it'PS2's topselling series, is very popular on PC and is gaining on Halo on the XBOX. There is now a Grand Theft Auto on the PSP.Also GTA3 is definetly the best of the series, because it was the first good GTA game the ones before GTA3 were Crap.
