  1. I am a huge DBZ fan. With that being said, I still don't think this siggy is all that impressive. I like that it's simple, but I believe that the colors should be a little stronger, so that there is more contrast. And I really don't care for the boxes breaking the image apart, maybe if there was something more to them it would be more attractive?
  2. I like it. What program did you use? And is suppose to mean anything? Because it seems completely random to me.
  3. I've been on gaia for a while now, and while it does allow you to customize features and whatnot, I find it limiting. You have to be crazy active to earn enough gold, the games they provide are limited and don't always load. The cash shop is terrible! You pay actual money for a graphic! Okay, nevermind, I just got on and I'm addictted again. Not the best thing ever, but yeah, it can be fun.
  4. I think this is good for active members. There are a lot of people who just continuously try to help other web designers and whatnot and this helps promote a very helpful and well-informed community. With so many people learning new languages and playing with programs, users are encouraged to share their knowledge. Wow, Xisto/Xisto are getting better at tricking us into being active. I think its an awesome idea.
  5. Overall . . . Color scheme is good. Easy to read and easy on the eye. The lines in the background and the lines in the banner at the top are going two different directions. Don't do this. Take the lines out of the banner if you can. Animation in the banner is small and effective. I like this. The set as homepage and add to favorites buttons are too bulky. Make them smaller and blend them into the banner better. Free Online Games|Free Games <~ do you need to say both of these? Most of the text seems to be saying the same thing, could you narrow it down and get rid of the text at the bottom of the page? Nobody is going to read that after they have access to the games. You've organized these games in 3 different sections in 3 different ways, could you possible combine these or come up with a more effective way of presenting them similar ways? First menu . . . Popular games, editor's choice, exculsive games, are all in orange. Why? Other random stuff . . . The friends sites and music codes, kind of hidden. And I think if your ads are necessary you could position them better. There is a lot of activity on the homepage. Have you considered breaking this up? Just to make a note, most of my comments are suggestions for improvement because I think this is more helpful and it should be what you're looking for. I do like this site, and if I was a gamer I would probably check it out. Awesome work and best of luck, ~*~linden
  6. Oh, this made me laugh. What's sad though is that there are consumers out there that have no idea what they're buying. They have no idea what other operating systems can do, nor how to do half the stuff vista is advertising. Oh, the manipulation.
  7. You should really have put a poll for this. It would be easier to keep track of everything. I prefer windows xp, its more user friendly and makes everything super easy. I feel like people who actually know what they're doing with computers prefer 98 or 2000 because it doesn't dumb things down for the user. I'm still using xp over vista until they sort most of the bugs out. From what I hear, it takes up way too much space and its kind of hard to use. It seems link all of the menus are filled with graphics and "neat effects" which can be really annoying when you're pressed for time. Also the warning messages, apparently you can get rid of them, just few people know how so most users suffer through warning messages after every mouse click. After a couple of years, I'm sure Vista will be favored over other versions of Windows. Does anybody else feel like the motive for the vista was mac? It has the same glassy feel to it.
  8. Gaming is the one subject that shuts up Mac and Linux users when they're trying to justify their operating system. Windows has always been and will probably continue to be the best operating system for gaming. However, whether or not it is the best operating system as a whole is still questionable. I haven't used any of these operating systems to their full potential and haven't had a problem using any of them. Even people who do differ in their preference though. I hate these arguments that can be won either way. ~*~linden
  9. I had a dead tooth when I was a kid, one of my front teeth, and there was nothing that the dentist could do to make it white again. It's considered to be a dead tooth. The only thing you can really do now is make sure it doesn't get infected with anything. If the tooth is not completely gray, there is a possibility that it could be a cavity. Over the past couple months I've noticed one of my front teeth darkening from the back and when I went to the dentist last week he was able to drill and fill the cavity. They're no longer gray. Good luck with your son, ~*~linden
  10. Okay, I think there is a lot of misunderstanding on the subject. Humans did not evolve from apes. Evolution states thats humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. And evolution is not random, and it's not a mistake that just happens to work. Mutations that benefit that the organisms that have them are more likely to increase the likelihood of survival for those organisms. Increased survival allows for more reproductive opportunities, meaning more offspring. Natural selection is extremely picky, and most mutations do not result in new species. The creation of new species takes time and restrictions. As for the "link" between humans and apes, have you ever seen the skeleton of a prehistoric man? There was a skull found that supports the close relationship of humans and apes, but I honestly do not remember what the name of the skull was called. If I find it, I'll be sure to post it. And for those who believe that humans could not be a result of evolution because God created man in his own image. Well that just makes us aliens. Which, if you think about it, explains a lot.
  11. If you really want to debate Creationism and Evolution, I suggest that you do your research. For a direct debate, Scott wrote a wonderful book called Evolution vs. Creationism: An Introduction. It goes through both perspectives thoroughly pointing out the strengths and weaknesses. If you want to see the perspective of a Christian Evolutionist, Miller wrote a book called Finding Darwin's God. Although I find Miller to be a little weaker in his argument, its important to note that a Christian can still believe in Evolution. Your arguments against evolution are not only wrong, but weak. There is no evidence supporting evolution? The fossil record isn't evidence? Biogeography isn't evidence? Genetic makeup isn't evidence? Comparative anatomy isn't evidence? If you want to convince somebody please do some more research, because the argument supporting evolution is a lot stronger than you're portraying it, and if you get into a debate with somebody who really knows what they're talking about, they'll spin you in circles until you've proven their points for them. Best of luck, ~*~linden
  12. Have you tried photobucket? I know it's more of an image hosting site but it advertises a sharing option. I use it to store a lot of my images, and I have yet to reach their space limit. If the sharing option is not what you're looking for, you can always use it as an image host and then you and all of your friends could just have access to the account. This is the easiest way I can see sharing photos on the web. Unless you're willing to join some sort of website like myspace or facebook. Hope this helps, good luck on your search. ~*~linden
