Thanks for the link, however the list did not included one major search engine in my country (china) , name of that search engine is "baidu.com", it is the major competitor of google in China even have many advantages over google in the field of search with chinese language.But, one thing good about the search engine list is the submit link of all the seach engines are very handy.

I heard it some where also that it is not so good to frequently updating your web pages, and I believe it the reason is doing nothing ocnstructive on your website just working on optimising may flagged as over optimising.But still it depends many other factors such as the size of your website in terms of the number of webpages, and percentage of the webpages being frequently updated. Also depend on the speed and volume of the contents newly added and inbound links your site gained.If you are doing all above together your site will be regarded as "busy" website and it will even get promoted.

I have found a tip on the web and tried it and the page load became faster.The tip is host the "urchin.js " file locally means download it from the google website and upload it to your web server, and do not forget to update the link in the google analytics tracking code. Before it is "http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js; now it should be "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ reason behind this technique is some times google analytics website may be very busy and loads the urchin.js file very swlowly on your website but if you place it on your server it will be downloads at the same time with your webpage and does not effect the speed. I found it extreamly conving especially for websites hosted far from google data center.

Yes, google is indexing everything but recently it is pointing out the malicious websites and warning people not to visit those websites.

I have seen some script on the web some time ago, I think it is not hard to get the script and start the search engine but indexing webpages needs a lot of hardware. Another issue is how do you market your search engine and benefit from it as there are som many free search engines already availible for free?But, if you make a search engine which can index and serve results for specific topic for example "golf tour search engine" maybe it can still grab a share in the market. Making general search engine and getting benefit from that is out off the question.

I highly recommend to use emule over any other p2p transfer softwares. One advantage that emule offer is while downloading the files you can see and download the files in the share folder of a user. What does this mean, for example if you are planing to donload a programming book, while downloading you can easily see the collection of other peoples share folder, in most cases there are many other books in that folder you cannot find by searching, this will make you to find all the related files quickly and easily. Personally I prefer FTP program over file manager for two reasons.one is ftp is faster in most of the cases and you can do multiple task with a good ftp program like cuteftp.second is with ftp program you can see the entire process like uploading speed, time remaning for the complete of the task. This is especially useful for uploading or downloading bigger file.But file manager has one advantage which ftp cannot compete with it; if you want to delete a very big file or an entire directory you can do it with file manager very quickly ftp is slow in this case, for example if you want to delete the an entire directory you will see ftp is deleting the files one by one which can take quite long time , but file manager can do it very fast.

I was using filezilla for long times, recently switched to cuteftp. Filezilla is good and free, but cute ftp has one adventages which filezilla can not offer; if you have miltiple sites and you work at the same times with many sites you can do it with cuteftp, and can switch to diffirent sites very easily, but filezilla can work for one site only in one time.

You can make pdf files with photoshop too. Originally both of them are commercial products so you have to pay for using it but there are many sources on the internet where you can download it free, obviously it is illegal.

I also believe that direct democracy is the best kind of government.
