  1. Well I am sure, google is going to have th domain gmail nicely under its hoods. Its sometimes good to show we dont need that, to bring down the price. Nothing is unsaleable, you need to quote rightly. Even if google looses gmail domain, I think I will have to stick with googlemail, since its much much better than any of the contenders.
  2. Yo tmbn lo he usado i pienso k esta bastante bien xa lo que es -.-
  3. I have to say I use two popular FTP programs. smartFTP and Filezilla. Filezilla is nice, lightweight, easy to use and has a great GUI. But I often experience time-outs with uploads that has a folder with lots of files in it. Even if they're small or large. I used to think it was due to my FTP account not liking being spammed with small uploads. I then got my hands on filezilla and use it for such tasks. I usually run both programs. SmartFTP to chmod and change around/edit files, and filezilla to upload hardcore. Another feature of filezilla that I really like is that I can run multiple instances and upload two things at the same time. Almost never times out on me, and even IF it does, it usually instantly reconnects and picks up from where it left off.
  4. I've used Yahoo, Ask, MSN, and they're all ok, but as everyone else has said Google is the best. Although, at one point anytime I tried to use Google on my old computer, it froze on me... which I still don't get, because the page is so small, that it's not like it took an hour to load... oh well. Now that I have Firefox, I just use the search bar in the top corner. Plus it comes pre-loaded with a bunch of other search engines, like dictionary.com, wikipedia, ebay, etcetc. So in short, Google is definetly the overall best search engine out there to date. Plus yahoo and a bunch of others all use Google, so it's all the same anyway.
  5. Firstly, may I say icons are on the desktop for a purpose: they make tasks quicker. Secondly, the likes of My Computer and Recycle Bin icons can not be deleted so easily. In fact, the only way to do it is to somehow overwrite key components in Windows, which would be illegal and stupid. Finally, I have a very organised desktop. My Computer and shortcuts to drives are along the far left hand side, recycle bin is in the bottom right corner (because I rarely use it), and the rest of my icons are lined according to the program type. For example, my media program icons are in one column, Office in another, and folders in the far right. Keeping icons of programs that you use on the desktop is quicker than keeping them to the start menu.
  6. Hey,Long time no see, digital brother. <LOLWow I am just amazed at how much you guys are literate in computer programming languages. For me, it's HTML and I only know the basics. Well, it's kinda sad but I guess it can hold out for a little time being while I go try to learn PHP.Can someone answer my question:How can you benefit from being literate in C programming and C++?? What about C++ Visuals? Is that another programming language too?
