FrontPage Vs. Dreamweaver
tuba3d replied to crs_cwiz1405241504's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
There is no way to compare Frontpage with Dreamweaver...The only reason to use FP is if you cannot pay for DW, but I'm sure that you can find good free programs better than FP.DW generated code is awesome, not considering the integration with PS and FW.[]stuba3d -

unimatrix, Divx is a recent encoding engine, it's true, but avi has been compressed a long time ago, the DivX technology it is only much more efficient. The disadvantage of using uncompressed AVI is about the file size and the computer capacity required to manipulate such file. I suggest to use files for each frame instead using video files, except for MOV file when you are editing under a Mac platform. Rgds tuba3d -

Yamato, Yes, you can make a 3d film in 3dsmax and then edit it on a video editor, like Adobe Premiere or Adobe AfterEffects. Generally, when you render some material to be edited in movie editors, you shouldnt save them in avi mode, because avi (generally) is compressed and consequently there is a loss. Normally, you should save in tga format (or even high quality jpg). In this case, TGA (Targa) format is better because it allows record the Alpha Channel. Let me know if you need any help. The CS3 package seems to be a revolutionary package, mainly not due to new functions and resources, because most of users do not use CS2 functions, but it is the first version where Adobe incorporate Macromedia Flash/Dreamweaver/etc web package, and the most important: THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE PROGRAMS awesome!! Just copy/paste!! Take a look at Adobe site and became extasied...Rgdstuba3d

3d Images please need comments about my images
tuba3d replied to barkwally's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hi barkwally, Nice images. I would like to make some critics, mainly regarding the shaders. You should try to improve your shaders with some bump/specular in order to be more realistic. There are some great sites over the web where you can find good resources and tutorials. I recommend you to take a look (if you haven't did yet) to the cgtalk.com. It's a huge community where you can find good imagens and people normally help a lot. There are some excelent artists like Suurland (http://www.suurland.com/) that makes incredible works. Please let me know if you need help. Rgds, tuba3d -
Some commercial programs, like former Alias Maya (now Autodesk) offer trial or educational versions, which you can use with some restrictions like watermark for example. There are a lot of paid 3d programs, like Maya, 3dsMax, Lighwave, Cinema4d... Blender is a free program.Normally 3d programs are very expensive... Maya for example costs a lot of thousand dollars.Rgdstuba3d
