  1. I've never heard of this movie, I think... I saw "The Descent" and clicked on the topic because I thought it would be about the gay porn movie Descent, with Aiden Shaw! hahah
  2. You know, I read somewhere that American McGee actually wanted to do a film. But nobody wanted to produce it because they thought it would be hard to sell a film that had only its own story... So he made the video game and now he wants to do a film based on the game, because supposedly that would be easier to sell. Here's a link to the imdb entry of the movie Alice -> http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I can hardly wait, I think this is going to be really cool... If this guy is really involved, he won't let people screw it up.
  3. I unistalled it and kept Battle for Middle Earth 1. BFME2 is cool, it improved many aspects of the previous game, I specially liked all the places you can go and play. But I'm a die hard Tolkien fan, and I missed the Tolkien stories in it! '=/
  4. the moment I saw simcountry.com on the forum, I clicked to see what it was... I have registered and I'm there now, trying to play... But it's too difficult for me '=) Too much information! But for people who can handle it, it must be super cool. I prefer Civilizatiom ;-)
  5. Hello Does anyone know Mummy Maze? Here's the link -> http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It's a very cool puzzle game, you can play it on your browser or download a demo version.
  6. I think pornography, when well done, is as good as any other photograph. You should check out Terry Richardson's photos. It's not porn, but it does resemble it a lot sometimes, and it looks really good.
  7. I liked the second photograph. It has an interesting perspective, and those high tension wires worked wonderfully in the picture. I just think maybe I would not have made it monochromatic. I would have left the original colours and de-saturated them a bit. Or maybe I would have made it monochromatic, but just plain black and white. From the looks of it, it seems that image would have a lot of beautiful grey '=)The other two don't say much to me... But I think they're technically good.
  8. It's only a matter of time when digital will totally take over film. It's very simple, we can't keep spending so much money on film and chemicals, and they produce a lot of toxic waste, and it's expensive to store them correctly. As of now, digital lacks good latitude.
  9. Cool, thanks for the tutorial '=)You know, Henri Cartier-Bresson was one of the first photographers to make prints with a black border or with the holes of the film showing. He did this because he was against cropping photographs. He thought you should frame it before you photograph, and then leave it as it is.
  10. Very tough question... Sims2 is ****in' mega, but so is Mario Bros... And the "other" alternative includes pretty much everything else there is out there.
  11. Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 (specially MK2); Super Mario World, Mario Kart...But I think the most PERFECT games are Mario Kart 64 and the Monkey Island series. Man, those Lucas Arts games are HILARIOUS!!
  12. Thank you, I'm glad you liked them '=) The photographs on page one were made with coloured flash, that's why they're pink (except for the one that's yellow) and the photographs on page 2 were made either under fluorescent light (green) or incandescent light (yellow). When I was going to correct the colours of the pictures in page 2, I decided to play a little bit '=)
  13. Aw man, you shouldn't have deleted your essay and definitely NOT the pictures! Just upload them to some virtual drive like Yahoo briefcase... '=)
  14. Well, I guess I'm too late for that! '=/ Wow, that's crazy, I had no idea .com.ar domains were free in Argentina!
  15. They have a lot of information and screenshots on the official site already, it looks like it's going to be über fun!! Too bad I don't live in the US, I don't think they will offer that game here in Brazil. If any of you guys live in the US or Europe, look for their website on google and go there; they are distributing a beta version of this game!
  16. Hey, and that RollercoasterPro link you posted led me to two different rollercoaster simulators! I loved them too, but they're not games like RTC... They're real simulator for engineers and architects and stuff... Very interesing and also fun, maybe you guys should give them a breef try. I think one of them was called Screaming Machines and the other one was caled NoLimit Coaster. Another one mentioned on that RollercoasterPro site was HyperRail, but I couldn't download it.
  17. The music and all the sounds in general were so great... Remember how many songs had a child-like music box sound, except it sounded a bit nightnmarish? I really love the part when she's in a giant chess board. That whole world was black and white. And also the part when she's at the hospital, and there are sick children walking on the cushioned walls...! '=D
  18. HelloDoes anyone here remember this game called American McGee's Alice? I think it was released in 2000, it's so awesome! Like Alice in Wonderland from HELL! '=D I love the storyline and dialogues...
  19. Hello everyone I'm a photography student in college, I post my pictures here -> https://www.flickr.com/browser/upgrade/?continue=%2Fphotos%2Fbad-and-ugly%2F Check it out when you have the time, and tell me what you think '=)
  20. Hey everybodyHas anyone else seen this awesome French film Irreversible, by Gaspar Noé, with Monica Belucci and Vincent Cassel? I don't want to say much about it here, but let me just point it out that it is technically PERFECT.
  21. Basicly... it depends on what you want '=) Resolution is only about the size of the picture. I think 3 mega pixels can produce a 13x18cm print. If you use a digital camera only for internet (you only see your pictures on the screen, never print them), I think 3 or 4 MP are good enough.
  22. Man, after Kazaa was "thrown down", I don't think you should look for the best/greatest/most popular P2P software or network anymore... I prefer to have a few different P2P here depending on what I want to download. Since almost everyone has mentioned Shareazza and Azureus (which really must be the best bittorrent software) and you already know eMule; I'll recommend Soulseek. It has some awesome music files.
