Mafamba Team replied to Ed :P's topic in Hardware Workshop
That is damn cheap mate for less than $2k.I know someone who is building their own computer, for about $4k, and its not 15% as good as yours.A 250 gig hard-drive.That is like more than 8x bigger than mine. But is it wireless??? -

Ahh! Big Mistake! How Do I Get This Program Back?
Mafamba Team replied to austiniskoge's topic in Websites and Web Designing
What computer do you have thats only 13gb.Please tell me.My computer is 40gb, and has 13gb of back up alone!!I admire you managing to use that kind of computer, but what is it, which OS, which type of computer and price, I could get it for people I know and their first computers. -
You can't "hold off", and getting 20-40 hits a day still means you have to wait 5 year before Google pay out, they only pay sums above $100.Probably about £30.00 in UK Money after rates, commission and postage, and thats only about a £5/year, and your domain costs more than that. So whyh have ads when you lose a lot of customers, more than £5 worth a year of customers a year because they think your site is cheap.

What Are The Free Online Games/RPG You Play ? free online rpg
Mafamba Team replied to JohnNitro's topic in Computer Gaming
I admit it.I used to have a personal addiction to Runescape, I would spend HOURS, mining gold and getting attacked by scorpions, just to sell on my account for a small amount. What a waste of my time!! -
Right. There's no escaping my full opinion.A few days ago I downloaded a version of Opera, I think it was 9.02, and this is what I have found.Pros - PLENTYBetter than FirefoxBetter than FirefoxBetter than FirefoxBetter than Firefox and the list goes on :PPeople are brainwashed to think that because so many people use Mozilla Firefox that Mozilla Firefox is "automatically" the best web browser around, but face the facts, it, ISN'T.Opera, has all the features of Mozilla Firefox, a better looking layout and interface, infact, even more features, easy access to everything, and super fast loading of sites.I don't look at figures or facts, I look at personal experience, and a gazillion people could say that Mozilla Firefox is ten times better and faster in all things technical than Opera 9.02, but when it comes to firsthand experience, face the music, its not.Opera 9.02, even has its own built in e-mail client which is pretty neat although I don't use it, and !!! it SAVES 5mb+ IN SPACE COMPARED TO FIREFOX. You may think that , whahay 5mb, so useless, but when you have 50 different things, that all save 5mb, your looking at 250mb, whch I think could get you Microsoft Windows Works, which is pretty handy. At the end of the day, everone is converted to the universal technogeek religion of Firefoxia, yet Opera is really the unsung hero of all the browsers, and it really does kick *bottom* against Internet Explorer as well.If you have any more questions about it, feel free to send me a personal message. The One and Only,Yours Truly,OPERA 9.02 ROCKS,Mafamba Team!

Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail Whos winning the battle?
Mafamba Team replied to jcguy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I think MSN Hotmail was personally trying to grow too quickly, rather than broaden its regions with higher premium rate services, maybe a $1 e-mail loaded with features.MSN Hotmail should have noticed thier failures on thier system that happened everyday like thier html text for smileys etc., and pick up on that first before trying to increase their size by 25mb or something small like that.If they had a £1 or $1.99 e-mail account for the whole year, which had say 5gb, had a seperate hosting site, more bandwidth etc, then I think they would be well in the hundreds of thousands for buyers for that And by making all accounts after that say $1 or £0.69 or something it would really attract it, and people would be making accounts all the time thinking that it was mega cheap. -
I think that this is really funny, and it would be even funnier if something did actually happen with premium accounts that cost like £75.00 from different places. For the first few lines it was realistic--ish, then it just spiralled into pure humour. :PMafamba Team

Data Transfer Between Laptop And Desktop
Mafamba Team replied to sandeep1405241520's topic in Hardware Workshop
Like I have said in another post somewhere, it is highly reccommeneded to invest in a USB Flash drive, they should only cost about £10-£20 and probably about $15-$25 dollars, and are a brilliant investment. All you really need is 256mb, and it has superb memory space and will last you a lifetime, providing you don't chew the cap off...All the best,The Mafamba Team !!! -
For what that is, you can probably get that sort of stuff for £160-£200 nowadays, which is about $350.And the reliability of it?Plus I bet they'll have a catch, where they will have a run up charge and a $99.99 guarentee.I hate it when you buy something cheap for say £25.00, but you have to buy a £60.00 guarentee for it, when the full price is only about £55 anyway?

Laptop Overheating Problem with Dell 600m
Mafamba Team replied to snutz411's topic in Hardware Workshop
I just damn well hope that that won't ever happen to my new Laptop. It happened to my old one,a nd it started to fume, but it was only worth £200, and a fix would cost about £125.00, and itwould also drop its value because it has been previously broken, so we decided I'd buy a new, and I must say fantastic Laptop, which was Windows Media Center Edition 2005.I wonder where I can get a spare battery for it from? All the best in the laptop problem. The Mafamba Team !!! -
This is going to very diffiuclt to undertstand, so I reccommend you phone up your local coputershop, who will be able to give you more assistance, but don't buy anything until you have checked here.Sometimes they even charge for Microsot Office Free Trials and may charge for a link to Linux, or something else ridiculous.Apart from that they should be able to be a lot easier to understand because you can address your questions very quickly. All the best,The Mafamba Team !!
-
Unlucky, I hope that never happens to me.I know I am not much of an expert myself, but I definitely reccommend, looking for about 10 minutes every day, and having a look at interesting threads. If you then write a good response which should be easy when you can relate to the topic, then you don't have to worry about your spam posts getting deleted in topics that you don't have a lot in common with.Hope that helps,All the best,The Mafamba Team !!

I don't fully understand.Anyway if you're talking about a phpBB forum, there's no point you should use proboards.

Lovely Photoshop. If only I could afford the damn brilliant program.Either way, GIMP2.2 is alright, although I preferred the old interface of Gimp.

"Should we sue?" This question seems to have become America's slogan nowadays. The majority of Americans today seem to think that sueing is the only way to solve their problems, mostly because there is a lot of money involved if they win.To many fast food-eaters, the golden arches of MacDonald's have become their god. It calls to them; tells them that their food must be eaten or suffer the penalty of death. So what do they do? None other than follow the calling of MacDonald's and pay homage to its all-powerful pull of eating enjoyment. And yet, people still wonder, "Why am I so overweight nowadays? I only eat fast food every other day." None of them ever stop to think that that might actually be the cause of their problem. Instead, it's, "I file a lawsuit against MacDonald's for making me fat! It's not my fault that I eat there almost every day; Ronald MacDonald makes me. He has evil magic powers." Uh-huh. Yeah, right.People just do not want to admit that they are the cause of their own problems; it's just human nature, but look at it like an addiction to smoking or chewing tobacco. If one hadn't started using it in the first place, they wouldn't be addicted, hmmm? Then again, there's always smokers that sue the tobacco company for their own stupid choices, so who am I talk?So no, I think we should not sue MacDonald's just because we do not want to admit to our own short-comings and defeats, but seeing as this has become America's motto now, there's really nothing we can do to stop it.Well, that's the way the world works now. What is your take on this guys?--------------------I don't understand, you would have to clairfy more on which directory your sueing on, rather than taking sue as a universal term.

God of ?"Islam"?. Muslims believe there is only one God, a God for all, which is Allah, and Allah is just an Arabic word for God, not a particular God to their religion.

A Word About The "FREE HOSTING" System
Mafamba Team replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in Web Hosting Support
Someone had a bit too much to drink...I don't particularly know how they make money, although the bootom line hosting, is free with ads, and maybe Xisto get a small commission if someone buys a product through their service, and I bet the ads on the homepage are helpful. Most other companies were scams, but I truly believe this is fraud safe. -
