That’s great, I had no idea external hard drive can be so fast and so cheap. I have to look a little more on the US market. I am not sure if I can get it for that cheap. What do you do about backing up your files?

I had no idea that Joomla let’s you define roles to users and assign privileges accordingly. I definitely have to check that out. To be honest, I just wanted a new look for my site. Creating a new template from scratch is no small task and I guess I haven’t really taken the time to sit down and really go at it. It’s just the templates out there currently are not what I wanted. I’ve not really had any problems with menu items or any of the modules. I just need to hang in there and take thing one at a time. Although I’ve complained a lot about Drupal, I am not one to give up easily. Thanks for everyone’s support.

Lately, my Window Explorer tends to freeze all the time. I end up having to end it, and never can organize my files like I want. I’ve sweeped for spyware, check virus and made sure my firewall is in place. What am I missing? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. If I can’t get past this, I might give it a try. One of the reason I chose Drupal over Joomla is that Drupal offers control over what different users have access to. You can categorize your users and allow them different privileges.

I feel that Microsoft definitely is not known for their originality. They’ve ripped off a lot more than iPod from Apple. But they do provide a more versatile and cheaper alternative.

Exactly how cheap are hard drives, what about speed? I heard that external hard drives tend to be slow. Have you had any reliability issues?

I’ve downloaded Shareasa a few days ago. It caused my computer to “crash”. Well, not really crash, but that data dumping thing it does in a kinda dos screen and force my computer to close. So I thought on the safe side, I should uninstall it. Have you had any problems?

What is the most popular and reliable P2P software out there? I’ve been using Bittorrent and eMule for a while and I am not sure if there is anything out there that is worth trying.

What are some of your opinion of backups and storage? I am close to using up my 120GB of hard drive space on my computer and I want to one store my files else where and free up some space and two have a backup. I’ve been exploring some options. DVDs are getting cheaper and cheaper, they cost as low as $0.27/each for 4.7 GB of space. While external hard drives are normally $1 per GB. I wondered what other people do and what is the best option.

I would have to vote for Banner 2, for several reasons: 1. It is about the right size, your banner 4, 5 and 6 are simply too big to be effective banner. If the banner takes up half of the screen your webpage won’t look balanced. 2. It is easier to read and still convey your artistic style. The text on banner 1, 3 and six are not as easy to read due too different color characters or the text is too similar to the backgrounds. Banner 2 jumps out and grabs reader’s attention. Because of the simplicity of the color and the contrast between the text and the border and the background. 3. I simply like the color better on Banner 2.

Today Microsoft has officially launched their answer to iPod, Zune. Looking at it, it looks suspiciously like its counterpart, iPod; almost exactly the same design. The Zune is a 30GB music player with a few different that Microsoft considers their competitive advantages. Support more format - one of the advantage Zune have over iPod is the ability to support multiple popular music file formats than iPod. Wireless sharing – you can wirelessly share Zune to Zune. Built in Wi-Fi – I don’t know how well this feature will affect the battery life, since Wi-Fi power requirements are still quite steep. So how much with Zune costs? Rumor has it that it will cost between $299 to $399. But nothing official on the price yet. I am expecting Microsoft will want to take advantage of the holiday market and launch Zune before Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I haven’t made any progress on Drupal since I installed Xampp. I guess one of the challenges is that there are so little templates out there for Drupal (php driven). And writing one is more challenging than I thought. I have the xhtml part down, and I know some basic php, so why is putting both together so hard? Should I general some more contents for my website before I go crazy with design? But then there is the whole taxonomy model. Would I mess everything up if I don’t categorize everything up front? Anyways, just getting very frustrated with Drupal. I am sure a lot of people get to this stage, and hopefully I will see an out soon.

I am not sure if an all hands free phone would be practical. First the voice recognition program currently is mediocre at best; you would probably have to repeat your commands several times at a loud voice for it to register. That brings up another problem that what if you want to make a call at a public place, very inconvenient.

I think the easiest and the best way to solve your problem is to install a spy ware program. I would recommend SpySweeper by Webroot softwares, it’s free. All you have to do once you install SpySweeper is to sweep your computer for spyware. You will be surprise at how many spyware you find on your computer. Spyware is such a nuisance, and if you do not detect sypware on your PC, it can lead to much more serious consequences like identity theft. I believe Dell has recalled their battery due to a series of explosive incidents. I believe the model you mentioned is included in the recall. Could the battery be causing the overheating? I’ve used several different dell laptops from work and never had that problem before. How long does it take for your laptop to overheat?

I think in order to be successful at dating website, you need to offer something unique that others lack. Like many other people have pointed out there are a lot of extremely dating website who have the resource to be able to advertise a great deal. I think you can successful if you find a niche. What niche? I really don’t know.

So I guess EasyPHP can replace Xampp? What are the differences between the two? I know that Xampp include Apach, MySQL, PHP and several other software combined. Will EasyPHP interpret html, css, xhtml? Would you have to install MySQL separately when you install EasyPHP?

I think you did a fantastic job on the cover. However the title doesn’t really standout. Maybe if changed the color to make it more obvious. Also the background color seems to compete with the foreground color. I would change the background a little to make both the graphics and the book title standout more. But overall I think it’s great. How did you get your anime graphics on the computer?

You need one field unique field (where the value is unique) in both table so that they can be linked together. For example you can use IDNUM as your primary key in both tables and link the tables using that field.

I finally got it working. Apparently the passwords did reset after I rebooted my computer. You instruction were pretty good. Thanks a bunch. Now that I have my local server running, I can start writing and testing my own Drupal themes. Do you have any suggestions on related websites and resources?

Although Google execs are billionaires, I heard on TV somewhere that they are pretty unpretentious guys. One of them even drives a Volkswagen.

The best download software I’ve used is BitTorent and other versions of it. I like it because you can find pretty much everything you might think of; from movies to TV series to any music and animes. Also if enough people are either seeding it or downloading it, it is extremely fast. I’ve downloaded 40 min of video in less than 20 minutes.
