  2. hi, only to say that i have begun to use GTalk a few days ago, and my first impression is that google do a great job just like with the other tools and services they offer, its very focussed in the functionallity it offers, its simple and easy to use, but msn is used by 90% of the marketplace, so i will continue to use it because allmost all my contacts use it. best regards,
  3. Hi, is very easy, you can do it with html using a meta tag http-equiv=refresh or with php using the header(Location=) function. For example using html you can put this in your head section: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; url=file.php"> it will instruct the browser to wait 5 seconds and then redirect to the file.php. Now, using PHP you have 2 options: Direct redirection: <?phpHeader("Location: file.php");?> With a time interval redirection: <?php// wait 5 seconds then redirectSleep(5); Header("Location: file.php");?> of course there will be other ways to do the same. best regards,

  6. Hello everybody from Lima, Peru. I have been using computers since early 80s when my father give me an Atari 800XL with 64Kb of RAM, basically i used as a videogame console but i do some basic stuff in one of various versions of Basic, after that i enter to the world of really programming software for computers since the begining 90s, and finally doing website development and website administration since 98.I work as a free lance consultant and programmer and find a lot of designers out there who need someone to do the back-end stuff. Nothing better than working from home doing something you love so much.Back to Xisto! It is rare to find a place like this, where so many people chat with each other about technical stuff. This is a great community and I hope to continue here for a long time and wish everyone the best.By the way sorry if my english is not perfect, its not my native language, but i always try to do my best.Best regards from Peru.Gustavo Cruz
