  1. hahaha I agree... visual and gamplay comparison in Source BY FAR EXCEEDS 1.6 I've played since 1.5 and at least source makes logical sense when you shoot objects... I mean in 1.6 you can shoot through walls... That's SOOOOOO REALISTIC
  2. I suggest using logmein.com after registering with there site you can access your computer from anywhere as long as its on... I use it all the time and is very useful. Another thing is something like access-my-remote-pc.com which is also very useful. I also a long time ago used gotomypc.com as well very useful.I'll list in order which site was the slowest for me to access (results vary for others) and I suggest you try them yourself firstFastest to Slowest1. access-my-remote-pc.com 2. gotomypc.com3. logmein.comHave Fun!
  3. Wow if only I had found this topic earlier... I went through a bunch of different Java IDE's, for a project I did in school. Here's a List of IDE's I used from best to worst1. Borland JBuilder Foundations (Free) - I thought it was better than all the rest because it could do everything, design, code, compiler the works, very dependable uses JDK 1.4, works well with plugins like JMF and stuff very easily2.JCreator (Free)3. NetBeans (Free) -didn't like the module loading time, either than that very solid IDE4. Dr Java (Free) - Hated it like a whole bunch, constant problem finding classpaths Ack!I think you should use Borland JBuilder... although I do recommend buying it off there site to get Enterprise Edition... I bought it and it was worth the moneyEnjoy I hope I was some help!

  5. [start of useless rambling] The r580 series really should have been the r520 series and although this card does perform very well individually, in CrossFire it still cannot outperform the Nvidia "current King" 7800GTX. Orginally I was planning on buying a X1800 XT, but it was a complete dissapointment in my point of view and I opted to wait for the X1900 XT/X. Now that it's out I don't see a vast improvement over a 7800GTX. Probably the only thing I like right now about the X1900 is the fact that it can play shader heavy games like FEAR in very HIGH resolutions (i.e 1600x1200). if you head on over to http://www.hardocp.com/ you can read their review on the ATi's new card. Although I am a ATi Fanboy, I think it was really stupid of ATi to have the card with only 16 pixel pipelines when they could have very well increased it to 24 like Nvidia or 32, but instead they had a 3:1 ratio between the pixel shaders and pipelines... *sigh* Oh well, I'm still happy that the card is out and seeing some of the upcoming heavy shader games like Crysis IS GOING TO BE AWESOME... Okay got that off my chest...[end of useless rambling] On another note has anyone seen sighting of the new card?
