  1. I too agree with DMaster to a degree. Unless a series lends itself specifically to sequels, I would say not to do one. I think in FF7's case, they would be much better served to remake the original in much the same way that they remade Resident Evil for GameCube. I would snap up a remake of FF7 in a heartbeat. I absolutely love that game.
  2. I have yet to find a definitive tutorial out there, but one of the handiest I found was this one http://www.rpg-maker-downloads.tnrstudios.com/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t Yet I would like to find a tutorial that covers titles, importing charsets, music, etc, and creating your own intros. If anyone knows of a site like this, or would perhaps even like to create a site together dedicated to the development of games, drop me a line.
  3. Zelda: Ocarina of Time is in my opionion, one of the, if not the greatest game of all time. Sure, it may look dated now, but when it came out it was the greatest of the great. I still love playing it. I actually enjoyed Wind Waker once I got into it. I didn't like the fact though that Link from OOT failed to stop Ganondorf. I'm hoping they address this issue in the upcoming Zelda, which looks fanfrickingtastic. I can't wait. Any hardcore Zelda fans, email me.
  4. I've tried both RPG maker and GM to develop games. Flash is excellent too. They all have their advantages, but nothing beats building something from the ground up. I suggest learning a language. There are a ton of resources on the net to teach you something like C to begin with. If you can master C and C++, you'll almost only be limited by your creativity.
