  1. What the description says. I interrupted the creation process and now I don`t really have a web space, but I lost my token. I know it is my fault and I feel kind of stupid doing exactly what those BIG LETTERS told me I shouldn`t do, however there is a perfectly rational explanation behind it. Those big letters also said the process will take beetwen 10 and 15 minutes and I let it run for 1 hour and 30 minutes and it stil appeared stuck on "request sent - waiting for reply". And after 1h and 30min it was 2.30 AM here and I needed to go to bed and I can`t sleep with my PC not turned off so I had to interrupt it. The letters also only said I "may" lose my token and I was feeling lucky so... Is there anything that can be done? Who should I contact?I guess I could be like inactive in the forums for a month and then my account would get deleted and then I could re-apply, but I wouldn`t want to wait for a month. Hmm...what is done with people that experience power cutts during application process?
  2. It is illegal in Slovenia (where I live in) too unless you use that hand free gadget. However I remember reading an article perhaps as long as one year ago about Iraq that mentioned its traffic regulations (since the article mentioned this American offical from Green Zone that wanted to help Iraq with improving traffic code and descibed the mess a faulty translation made) and according to it is legal to use a mobile phone while driving unless for bus and truck drivers.
  3. Of the games mentioned in the poll I played Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon and indeed they are both very good games. However I think neither compare to one game that went unmentioned in your poll - Operation: Flashpoint. While it is somewhat old I feel it is stil unsurpassed by any other similar game.In my opinion it is by far the most realistic of any games mentioned and on top of that has huge terrain, very varied fights and isn`t just infantry based, but is a full battle simulation.
  4. The game itself is very good aside some minor issues like the fact that it ain`t the easiest thing to fly a jet on an area that small and the fact that the game demands a really fast computer. Too bad I can`t say the same about the mayority of people that play this game. Often two thirds of people don`t join a sqaud at all and run around the map as lone wolfs instead or even if they join a sqad they sometimes don`t obey commands and so on. Also way too many players chooses sniper class and just camps the whole game (it is great fun sneaking up to them and killing them with a knife though) and often they will take some transportation device to get to their camping area and then simply leave it there to rott. Also sometimes you have people that spawn rape. All in all it is often very frustrating...BTW: I am not sure I like the feature that counts how long have you played. I don`t want to know how much of my life have I wasted on the game.
  5. The only movie based on a game I have ever seen was Street Fighter and that film was just dreadful. That impression partly stemed from the very fact that many elements that seemed OK in the game like exotic costumes and that weird story simply felt out of place in a movie, but there was also a fact that the movie looked as if made for 10 years and was on top of it done very amateurishly. Which was kind of a surprise to me since it featured Jean Claud van Damme who was moderatly established actor of action flicks. But I am interested in how a movie based on Max Payne will come out, since that story has potential for a very good movie in my opinion. If they only manage to preserve the dark feel of the game and don`t over-emphisise the bullet-time shooting parts until it looks like Matrix or something.
  6. Starcraft. That game was superb. Three very unique and original sides, that demanded a different kind of play for each, but were stil perfectly balanced. It was great fun to play with friends over LAN. And I guess it was a good thing I didn`t have internet connection jet at the time or I would have probably never graduated.
  7. Why do you even ask this question? I thought it is common knowledge that Half-Life is the best FPS game ever. December 1997 gave us Id`s Quake II the most anticipated FPS of those times, then Epic`s Unreal the game with best graphics up until then went gold in March of 1998 and while everyone was stil busy arguing which game of the two is the ultimate FPS, Half Life came out in Q4 of 1998 and united the FPS gamers in opinion that Half Life is the Coming! They don`t make games like that anymore, that would be so far ahead of competition to unite the whole FPS gaming community behind them.
