I don't understand what's wrong with norton these days. I used to use norton antivirus 2002 and it was pretty good - the system was stable and it detected most viruses. But now that I have installed norton systemworks 2004, it has been harrasing me a lot. It hogs the system resources, doesn't detect all viruses and the main window never opens!! the only nice part is liveupdate. I haven't tried avast, but now i'm removing this junk from my comp and installing something better.

Well, I finally managed to get photoshop cs2 in place of 7 (i don't use it much - just my sis) but when i first started it, it told me that my monitor profile (LG Flatron L1720B) was incorrect. I clicked on ignore , but then it began to show the colour white as a bit yellowish. i ain't a pro at photoshop, so could you help out?

you're really luck if you have nvidia around, the nview utility has all the solution you want, plus other cool options such as transparency, rotation, etc.

I seem to have the same problem, the only thing is that my compaq presario has 2 USB 2.0 ports on the front, but when I insert a thumb drive, it says "high speed device plugged into non high speed port" this happens on my win xp sp1. on sp2 it is fine though. are you sure you have sp2, cause it usually solves the problem.
