Is this supposed to be art? Or just to show us different kind of foods that look really yummy. If it is supposed to be art, then I say that you need a better camera and some more versatile angles. Prepare and arrange the food so that it looks fashionable. Provide extra lighting for places that may dim the picture. If it's to show us food, then the shortcake looks cool. It's nice to see some european food culture. I see sushi, is that a part of Jewish diet or related in any way?? I just thought that because it theres Jewish cookies and sushi on the table.

When I had really slow speed, I would get frustrated, but never hate the internet. The internet is super useful, but without patience, it is really annoying. If it wasn't for the internet I would be playing outside. Your computer may need upgrades, or you need a faster connection, or you need a new network card, because the stuff that comes with the mother board isn't always that great. I still need to get a new network card because the stuff that came with my mother board sucks a lot. When the card sucks, it limits the internet speed. If speed isn't your problem, then it is probably your attitude. Instead of expressing how pissed off you are, you could use that energy to solve the problem or to ask for help.

If you have the default account (30 credits) do you have to post more to keep your hosting up compared to the starter (10 credits)? And are credit records kept before you get hosting? Because I didn't know that credits were reset after you get hosting. I had 30, but was planning to conserve credits and went for the starter. XPThanks.

Wow, you have some skill. The skin seems a bit rough and the borders of the hair compared with the background looks kind of weird. I like the face, the most. It looks very realistic. The torso looks like it needs more shade or something, because it looks flat when I look at it. Great job bringing her cheeks out..

Do Aliens Really Exist? Hot Debate! do they really exist?
rockgoody replied to tcave's topic in Science and Technology
If you mean aliens as in organisms that live outside earth, then I do believe in that. There must be another place suitable for life in the universe. I doubt that there are aliens like in the science fiction movies. I don't think the public was concerned with that until people were venturing into space. Abductions and stuff are just made up stuff. Many unexplained things caught on film could just be government funded testing of new technology or something. -
Hello, I am incorporating php into my site to get rid of frames, but I've come accross a problem. In my site I had a table with an iframe, then another table with an iframe inside of that. I used function changelocation to replace the first iframe, but how do I make another thing like that inside of the content of the first include? It says that it cannot redeclare changelocation() so how do I replicate an iframe inside of an iframe using php. Here's the non-php example of what I did. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ then you click flash work, then select a flash. See how the bottom of te iframe changes? It's because I put an iframe inside of an iframe. How do I do something like that in php? This is how I imitated the first iframe in my php revised index.php. I took out the useless code. <?php$content=$_GET['content'];if (empty($content)) {$content='news';}<a href="index.php?content=news"[tab][/tab]>News</a> <p><a href="index.php?content=flashes"[tab][/tab]>Flashes</a><p><a href="index.php?content=drawings"[tab][/tab]>Drawings</a>changelocation($content);function changelocation($content) {switch ($content) { case 'news': include("contents/news.php"); break; case 'flashes': include("contents/flashes.php"); break; case 'drawings': include("contents/drawings.php"); break;}}?> Now when I'm in the index?content=flashes, how do I imitate a second iframe? What I said is probably confusing and I'm sorry. I'm new at php. Can an experienced php scriptor give some insight?

Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail Whos winning the battle?
rockgoody replied to jcguy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I like gmail the best. I use that gmail notifier on my computer, which is very usefull when I email with friends. Lots of space I don't even need too. It's easy to sign up and sign off and I rarly ever get random junk mail with gmail. It's easy to organize and navigate and pick options for stuff. This is only from my experience. With hotmail, I have problems and I don't like I can't see any of my sent mail. Gmail rules. -
Final Fantasy Which one do you consider the best?
rockgoody replied to aaorozco's topic in Computer Gaming
I liked final fantasy 7 because of it's characters and music tunes. I love the music it that game. The story could have been predictable and the same goes with the plot, but the characters were interesting. I loved seeing what happened to Cloud and Sephiroth in the past. I remember and like each character, except Cait Sith and Yuffie. I liked it's time period too; it wasn't the future or the past, it was like a little bit like a weird modern time. The best thing about final fantasy X was that it had that sphere grid and good graphics. Best about 8 was the cg movies I think, I didn't like much about it. I didn't like 9. -
The sound that I hear when I mouse over the navigation is kind of annoying. I like to listen to music while browsing on sites, so it is disruptive to my experience. Nothing else is wrong with the navigation. It looks fine. The calendar looks messed up for me (I use firefox) and it is also slow to scroll. I see that you like to use frames also. I used to use frames, but then I heard people talk about php. I think asta supports php (I'm not sure) and if it does then you should learn php, because it's more better than frames for sure. The troop logo with the spotlight is a great attribute. You must have flash, so you should also do something with the troop 777 logo with flash. Get rid of the blue background too; my eyeballs don't like it. What you could put at home are updates or new events. I see shirts on the navigation and I assume that you are selling them, so maybe you could call it a store and sell other products. Sell stuff like hats, or mugs. I'm sure scout hats would be cute. The troop 777 logo in the top of the forums needs to be anti-aliased or smoothed around the edges. There's no forums button on the navigation, so I advice you add that.I am aware that you are still working on the website, so that's why I suggested this stuff. I hope you are successful with this site, and if you're not then at least you gained more knowledge about making a website.

I don't really care for the text, but since you thought it disrupted the look of the images, I changed it. I used a more cooler text, and changed the color. I didn't move the text in the sig, because I forgot to do it and now I'm too lazy to go back and change it. I hope it looks better. Thanks for the comments.

I wrote the tutorial, because I thought beginners would be able to do something simple and easy. It would help them get start out with paths+shapes. It's not about the comic bubble, but the concept of making a custom shape that you can use over again. A comic bubble is a great example for that. I myself, wanted to write a tutorial for fun, but I don't know much about anything specific on photoshop. I think I'm still a photoshop newb. The tutorial is good for introducing custom shapes, I think.

I realize that I didn't have a sig, so I made one in photoshop 7 in 35 minutes. I'm glad that I'm done. Can people tell how is it and how it flows? It's pretty small, but I think it looks cool. Give suggestions, comments, or ask questions. I like the color yellow, but I don't use it much. I finally made use of the stained glass texture and it is pretty cool. I thought that that it was useless. I got photoshop more than a year ago, but I have never made anything serious. I'm still kind of naive when I use photoshop. I just use it to make grunge sigs and draw on it. It's good practice. Matching avatar too. I like yellow.

The sig is a bit dark, so the tube thingies are hard to see. The border should be less rough, because it seems inconsistent with the smooth content of the sig. To make the text blend in more with the tube thing, you could change it's color or remove the texture, then make the spot light a little more the the left. The tubes look cool and random and the text matches with the surface it's on. Honestly, I would advice you to change the sig, or make a new one. I'm sure if you'll do more, you'll get better. This sig can be for experience, but not for use.

I'm interested in making my diet more versatile and healthy. Healthy food can be really yummy too. Like boiled artichoke, OMG That tastes so yummy. I'm boiling some right now. If you know what an artichoke looks like, get one at a market, go home, cut it in half then boil it for a long time then eat the soft parts; avoid spiky white stuff. Most of the food I have eaten in my life came from schools + fast food + vietnamese home cooked stuff. School food and fast food is not so vitamin rich. What I ask is for people to give me some suggestions of healthy foods. There has to be some knowledgable health informatists around to give me info.

Anyone Else Into Alternative Rock? Punk and HC particulary
rockgoody replied to Hercco's topic in General Discussion
It sucks that bands will change themselves to make themselves more popular or rich. Money and fame can easily change people. I like The Clash and The Blood Brothers. Very different, but both are cool. Punk is about stating social, cultural, political, moral, etc problems and basically talking about the corrupt things in life, I think. I don't know what it is now, but I don't care. I like listening to good music. If you like music that involves the use of guitars, then I suggest that you learn how to play guitar for fun, unless you really suck at music. It's pretty calming and cool to play guitar in the living room. Better than watching cartoons.
