What A Good Online Portfolio Looks Like...
dragong replied to ndhill's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Those links make me question my drawing skills. Which aren't so impressive, but anyway! I'm going to follow your advice as well... For some reason I've been trying to draw everything by memory and hardly draw things and faces I see... Must remedy that. -
3d Images please need comments about my images
dragong replied to barkwally's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Wow! You are very good at modeling! I don’t know much about relevant software, since I haven’t worked on any, but those models look very professional! -
Dreamweaver, definitely! Although that too doesn't deal with tags so well, as I've noticed.Anyway, I’d like to learn to write html myself some day! :-/

Physics Behind The Lightsaber Can it become true
dragong replied to Amadeus1405241494's topic in Science and Technology
Bleh, I’ve always thought that the light saber was lazer… um… because it’s a common thing used in… sci fi movies. Not that I know anything about lazer, but all my life whenever I thought “lazer” I thought light saber. There goes my myth… -
Well, G mail is good but I’ve had my yahoo account for years, so I’m kinda used to using that and the adds don’t bother me anymore there. Plus it’s 1 GB there too so it’s more than I’ll ever need for email storage. Now for saving important files… yeah, a second yahoo account! ^^ I got a G mail too some time ago, it’s really great. I really don’t understand why I’m not using it. Actually I don't understand the whole fuss about Gmail. I think it's just because it's a new thing. Otherwise, what's so special about it compared to Yahoo?

Msn Messenger 7.0 Or 6.2? which one is better
dragong replied to harriko's topic in Computer Networks
I love the 7.0 version because I am more interested in those fancy stuff, and the 7. has lots of them. More skins and the very annoying-fun to play with nudge. Hehe. And the handwriting feature. Yeah, I think that the 7.0 is almost as good as yahoo messenger now. -

I wonder if one could find that kind of thing in other languages as well? Or is this the only available version? If you find something relevant let me know! I'd love to try it. -
Adaware SE. It's cood, it's adequate for me.

Ooo, that’s very original! ^^ I hope your valentine was just as impressed, although it is a little late for a valentine gift! Lol But the colors you added made it look even better, good job! Generally it's a pretty interesting design, you could work on it more and color it with other media too!

Piano constructive criticism please?
dragong replied to iamrockandroll13's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I appreciate vector art because I’m pretty much hopeless in it. When less is more, it’ simply not my thing, although I really enjoy making sprites that are really small. But I admire those who can find and work with colors so fitting that create such an impressive result. -
I would be so enthusiastic about it if I could play with anything but my keyboard! I’m a 100% PC gamer but I got a lot of pals who are crazy about that sort of stuff! Well, who buys such things at their release day anyway… Not me, that's for sure, but all those pics are very impressive!

Website Splash Give me feedback
dragong replied to ninjamunky's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I really love the final version! ^^ It looks very professional; I’m impressed. I had to think of it a lot and have a very thorough view to realize I have nothing to comment on. The button look very embossed. I really admire your talent! -
Ipod Vector Trace Constructive criticism appreciated
dragong replied to ninjamunky's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Hm, I really like how minimal the pic turned out to be and the choice of colors; simple and clean, nothing that shouldn’t be there. White and light grey work very well. It looks quite high tech actually and here’s the only comment I have about it. I think that since it looks so modern, the screen should look very futuristic as well! Something more blueish maybe that would look like the ultramodern screens of the latest mobile devices. Just a thought! -

My Digital Sketchbook. regularly updated. (image heavy)
dragong replied to ndhill's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Wow, I’m really impressed! I love the stuff you draw, particularly your use of color! You did this in painter and edited in Photoshop? You’re very advanced, I haven’t managed to make such great things in this program… *is awe* The first picture is my fav! -
Secret Behind Your Nick/User Names Where did they come from?
dragong replied to szupie's topic in Introductions
Once upon a time, well, ok, just a few years ago I had a dream about a dragon in an oriental setting guarding a huge golden gong. Guarding is an overstatement, since the dragon was just sleeping wrapped around the base of the gong. Nothing fascinated happened in the dream and I didn’t even dare to wake the dragon. But it was a pretty sight! -
It’s interesting! Not bad at all. Did you choose all those effects carefully or played around with filters and stuff to make it? Practice is the best method to improve. I like the colors you use! You just need to work a little more on the way you merge the several pictures together to create the final one!

Actually I’ve been forced to live without a computer several times since I’m not always at home and I don’t have a laptop… So whenever I travel I don’t have a comp. I cannot say that I miss it when I don’t have access to a computer when I’m not home because I’m usually somewhere having fun! The Real Life kind of way! But after that, which is often a much needed break from the daily routine, I just need it! Badly!

Research: Really How Popular Are Blogs?
dragong replied to rhodesian.dragon's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Blogger.com is nice, but one cannot reply to the comments other people leave him. I personally use livejournal for about a year now. It is, in my opinion, the best of them all and it’s also free. Livejournal supports communities too, a great way for people to find others with similar interests! Well, there are a thousand sites that offer bloggs nowadays… deadjournal.com, greatestjournal.com etc... In some of them one write about their life and stuff, but there are other blogs, much more interesting and useful. The authors of those blogs write about something specific, should it be technology, or art, or anything. -
Itâs a really cool site. I found it some time ago and Iâve been watching a lot of artists and photographers since then. Mostly photographers⌠Thereâs some people Iâve been watching for quite some time now. Various styles and stuff⌠http://coxi.deviantart.com/ http://klar.deviantart.com/ http://ramy.deviantart.com/ http://raza-d.deviantart.com/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

My Very First Template review...? :)
dragong replied to friso's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I like it a lot! It kind of reminds me of comic books! lol the colors are great too and fitting. The only thing I'd change if I was planning to use this in my own wis the size of the font in the navigation area. I think it would be nice if it was a little bigger. Or if they were replaced by some kinf of GIFs rather than plain text. I think that since you are using an impressive header in the page, the navigation could be less minimal! Anyway, the template is very pretty! *thumbs up*
