  1. Will the XBOX 360 have keyboard and mouse support? I really want the system but I just don't think that I will be able to adapt very well to using a controller for shooting games. I have been using a mouse and keyboard for years, so I'm wondering if there will be a way for me to continue using a keyboard and mouse on the 360? Notice from BuffaloHELP: Your title must be descriptive! Editing.
  2. Wal-Mart has them out along with flat panel displays set at high res.
  3. Is anyone here into Killswitch Engage? I have been listening to them for over two years, and they are without a doubt my most favorite band I have ever listened to!! I recently went to go and see them live in concert along with As I Lay Dying, awsome show!! Howard Jone's is my all time favorite metal singer ever. His voice is so powerful, it's very addicting to listen to. The thing I love most about Killswitch Engage is their style. Their music is not too hard, definitely not too soft, but it's just a perfect mix. The music they write has a changing effect on your emotions as you listen to it. One second it will be on a screaming part that makes you tense up and what not, then the band will break into a really nice harmonious chorus with Howard Jone's singing his lung's out, and you will get a cold chill that goes straight down your spine!! Well I can't really say that will happen to everyone, but it definitely had that effect on me. Anyways, if you like Killswitch Engage and want to talk about the band, please reply!!
  4. I finally got to play Call of Cuty 2 for XBOX 360!! I must admit that I was completely blown away by the game in every aspect!! To start off, the game ran extremely fast!! almost no loading times pretty much and the gameplay was smoother than anything I've ever seen, no sudden skips or lag spots anywhere!! Next, and prolly the thing that caught my attention the most, were the incredible graphics!! I got to play it in High Definition, and I was blown away by the rendering and physics in the game!! As much as I want the PS3, I must say that COD2 might be the motive I need to finally get the XBOX 360 when it comes out in stores later this year!! This is only a sample of the power behind the 360, so I cannot wait for the future games that follow. Oh and another really great aspect of the game that I noticed was the sound!! You can hear very deep and in-depth effects in the game, which definitely brings out the whole war feel of the game. Anyways, I was just excited to have seen and played a 360 game finally, so I thought I would just write up and let you guys know how it is, or hear back from others who have played it or any others game also!!

    Dilema

CS Source is where you need to go, no question about it!! 1.6 is good, but its getting so old that people are gonna stop playing it at some point, and leagues are gonna drop the game and replace it with source I'm afraid. Source looks awsome, and the gameplay is excellent also. 1.6 might have alot of players on it, but believe me...source has alot also!! I guess the choice comes down to this...1.6 will give you decent gameplay, lots of hackers (cheaters), and terrible graphics...or source, which you will get excellent graphics thanks to half life 2, very rich and deep gameplay, and cool physics.
  6. That would be cool to have...but quite frankly I'm not sure about it...I remember how fun NFSU2 was for Xbox, and how good it looked...but I got it for PC just cause I thought it would look better on my 9800 pro...turned out to be a flop to me. The graphics were terrible! I would hope that burnout... if it ever comes to PC...would look better on pc than on Xbox, but who knows. I hope they try it though, cause I really love the series!!
  7. NES all the way baby!! Most people get caught up in the new systems that they forget the roots of it all, like Atari!! I love the old systems just as much as the new systems!!
  8. Yes, I would like to check out PS2 or XBOX emulators. I have always thought about it, but I'm not sure if they exists or not, or where I can find them at. If anyone knows, please share with the community!!
  9. I thought console games are made to run specifically for the parts put in them? Also, why wold you want to put a Xbox CPU in a gamecube? Seems kind of pointless to me.
  10. I never was a true fan of dust, mainly because it was a ct sided map...same as dust2 pretty much...but hey, most maps in CS are sided on one side or the other...like italy is sided for Ts, Nuke is CT sided, assault is definitely T sided. I wish they would release maps that are even on both sides. That would make the game more competitive and interesting I think.
  11. Halo 2 was a big letdown for me. After the first one, I was so excited when the second one came out to stores...I remember I got it on my birthday, and a week later I stopped playing it...didn't even finish it. The thing that made me mad abuot the game was how you had to be the arbiter so much...with the sword all the time...would rather be master chief with rocket launchers and machine gunes...but hey that wouldnt follow the story I suppose right? But yeah, it blows in my opinion.
  12. Yeah I don't like clones either...like back in Mario Tennis when they threw in Waluigi and all those extra characters. I have high hopes for super smash brothers 3, just hope they don't do something sttupid and try to make it use the motion sensor or something. If they do that, I can going to shoot myself in the foot!!
  13. PSP is for those people who don't have awsome laptops to take with them!! And quite frankly, the graphics on the handheld should not come as a shock, as if "OMG, they're better than consoles!?!"...I find it quite amazing that something so small can possess so much graphical power. Just the fact that the PSP can music, games, movies, God knows what else...that is amazing in itself. I have a PSP, and it has been a joy since the day I bought it. I go on lots of plain rides with my job, and the PSP saves me on those long flights. Now battery life wise, I have played my PSP for what seemed like 8 hours on a flight before it got really low. That isn't too bad considering how much power it requires to run that huge screen on it. Overall, people who can afford huge gaming computers prolly won't like or possess a PSP, but for the rest of us...this it is a blessing!!

    Psp Vs Ds

DS has some of the most idiotic games I have ever seen...it cold be a great system if only game developers would get createive with the whole touchscreen thing and make decent games for it. I liked Metroid prime for the DS, and the touchscreen felt like it was meant to be part of the game, now they are coming out with all these kiddy games like pac man or baby mario!! Where as the PSP has awsome games for it, and they look so and play so much better than the DS games! The huge screen on the PSP looks fantastic, and you can watch movies on it which like high def as I've ever seen. Now sound wise, psp has that category also i'm afraid. Just face the facts, PSP is just a better system all around. Nintendo tried to be different, but sometimes being different is not always the best thing...which I hope isn't going to happen with the new Revolution coming out.
  15. It's about time that the DS get's a decent game. Lately I have seen some really stupid games come out for it, like that pac man game or the baby mario game they made. I wish developers would get smart and start coming creative with the touch pad, like in metroid prime DS. That was a fun game, and the stylists really matched with the game. I hope mario cart doesnt have some happy new gameplay with the touch screen...i just want a normal game that uses buttons for once!! lol
  16. Yeah I saw the revolution on G4!! It's a cool idea what they're trying to accomplish, but I'm just not sure how well its going to go over with the game industry. How would you use that in shoter games really well? I cant see myself holding a "T.V. remote" in one hand, and a separate stick in my right hand. I don't know what they're thinking, but we won't know anything until people actually see the system and get their hands on it. I hope nintendo isn't trying to make another "DS" attempt pretty much, cause that thing is a flop in my book...the games are retarded on it.
  17. Metal Gear Solid has been my all time favorite series of all time for so long...but recently I got into Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory...and I must say, it was excellent I must say. The thing about metal gear that got old to me were the terrible camera angles you get throughout the game...they frustrate me so much. Also, you are very limited to what you can do in the MGS series also. Now Splinter Cell is a different story. The camera angles are very good, and can even be adjusted to accomodate you. The thing that gets me about Chaos Theory is how much you can do in the game. The game accomodates many types of gameplay, so whether you like to run in and shoot everything, or if you perfer to go through the game stealthily, the game supports both types of play. There are also many ways to dispatch of enemies, or hide from enemies, which is very cool some of the things you can do. Now graphics wise, although MGS Snake Eaters looked very good, Chaos Theory has it beat I'm afraid. Not only does it have awsome crisp graphics, but it also has a very good physics engine and ragdoll physics (very cool)!! My final vote goes to Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory because of its awsome gameplay, incredible graphics, and excellent sounds.
