Whoa! It's really sloooow. It's a spanish site? You loose some visitors by making it only spanish. But anyway if it's targeted to only spanish visitors it's OK.You are using flash, looks cool for now. But man shift your servers to Xisto - much faster and no ADS!

It can take from 2 months to 1 year for google to index your pages. But you can speed that up if you get some visitors, and link-exchanges with RELEVANT pages. Also google's AdSense help alot to be crawled by google and indexed. But before all, you must have pure & good content on your web. If you just have few blank pages, you will face loong waiting.

Looks like a good tool to have in my bookmarks. It's slow, but might come in handy when Im checking ranking of my webs...

The CMS on my web uses Mysql as backend database. So it's not hard to understand it, try to get some begginers book for Msql - that should clear some issues for you.

Again one of your posts with copy-pasted text :(Anyway to comment that: I think $100 is a bit too much to spend on mouse, unless you are crazy graphic designer and wants super precize mouse to work with. As I work in graphic design industry, mouse is one of the most common tools you use daily and even hourly. So you expect to have mouse of good quality and responsive. The quality of mouse is specially seen when you do precise stuff, like cutting the part of picture from it's own background, working in Photoshop, or in video industry if you are doing Rotoscopy and such stuff.. Anway - yes - mouse is important, but hell no, $100 is too much. To prove this here is my point: I've bought keyboard, mouse and speakers in pack together for $22, before 1 year. Keyboard serves me very well, as I type from it now. Mouse is excellent, and works very well and precise. Speakers are somewhere in junk/trash.Not always expencive stuff is only that pays off.

Impressive. I would only inform you to wrap that "Italic" text into quote because I see it's probably copy-pasted from Nvidia or another source, so quickly edit your post and put that in quote, or some of administrators will be mad

Yes, I didn't recieve the PIN either, and google says they will send it after you collect the amount of $50. I've collected that many months before and just yesterday I wondered where is my PIN and just came across this info on google's help pages:Recently, Adsense introduced a new rule asking all publishers to submit their PIN code via a form online. Apparently, Google has sent me the PIN code in a letter, However, it has been weeks and the letter has yet to arrive. I reside in Singapore. Are there also any non-US adsense publishers here who have not received their PIN code yet?
So read that bottom message, I've realized that I signed up with adsense before January 28th and that's the reason I didn't get my PIN. In that case you don't ever need to enter that pin.We will mail your PIN to the payment address in your account. You'll then have 180 days to enter your PIN within your publisher account, or to request a replacement. If you do not enter your PIN within this period, your account will be disabled and your earnings refunded to the appropriate advertisers.
Please note that we began issuing PINs on January 28th, 2005 -- if your account was approved before this date, you will not need to enter in a PIN.
According to google, possible is also that your letter with PIN is lost somewhere, and you can request a new one also.
Good luck!

hey pyost!I didn't want to open a new topic, but you (or I) have some problems with the forum. I just can't access it. I just keep getting "Read Access Denied" and it says I need to login. However, on the same page, on the bottom, I have "Logged in as: pyost". I don't know if anyone else has these problems, but that should be fixed ASAP.
Sorry for that error, as I installed the forums, I've never tried it as non logined user or guest, or as even registered user but not administrator. Anyway that was some error in forums options, anyway, now any registered user can post, and the guest users can post at forums too.

Yes, Nasa have similar program, It's called WorldWind if im not mistaken... I've tried it some time ago, it's pretty good, but as you said, it is pretty big, and resource intesive: on my duron overclocked to 2ghz and geforce mx460 program crashed the computer few times.Well, what's the point of giving anything free? Google is well-known for its free services, and I doubt it will change that policy. I believe NASA has a similar piece of software like Google Earth, but it much bigger (maybe 100MB, not sure) and therefore it's not practical. Everything that Google offers only attracts users - and that's what they need.

I played before the UPLINK, if you know? that really was a blast, and catchy game too. When I started to play it, just can't seem to stop play that, and eventually I get tired of it. It's fun for a few weeks, then you get bored of it...First of all, please do not clasify this as advertising spam, it is a little advertising but i mean it when i say i like to hear your opinions about my game.... and im not too spammy am i ?
I have recently made and launched Slave Hack.
This is a hack simulation, you are a hacker and own a computer (133mhz, 1 mbit, 1GB hd)
Your goal is to hack as much as you can, collect software, buy better hardware and gain hacking ranks(reputation).
I hope that some interested people around here join SlaveHack and see if they like it... Because ofcourse I hope to see players play and like it.
The website is http://www.slavehack.com/
What do you think about this type of textbased game?
--- EDIT ---
...after few minutes...
I tried your game. pretty catchy I think I'll play it some time now... Good job there!

Sometimes google ad's change it's appeareance later. Same thing happened to me when I was submited request that I want to have that link "advertise on this site..." and It took few days to show up on my web. It's probably due to some google cache issue...Anyhow, I tried removing this, just as you said and as it seems logical, but the link is still there.

Nice guide. This is good for people that don't have much experience with installing and "customizing" computers, with winxp os.

google is better. Anyway, every time when I search for something, after leaving google, and trying something else, I would get pretty the same results, or no results at all. So in my opinion google beats all other SE.

Well, statisticaly I've noticed that on my web, I need at least 1000 visitors a day, to get approx. 10 clicks of it. I've proved that in last few days. So, to get some money out of it, you really must have bunch of visitors daily. And other thing that's important is the ads that are displaying - if they are of low $ value, then 10 clicks daily isn't such great deal...Anyway, if you really put some effort on it, make many pages under your web, with good and quality content, you might get some $$ out of it.I try to accomplish that with design news, photoshop tutorials, quality wallpapers, and similar stuff that can be found on my web.

Very nice tip list for win explorer! Good job!

I've learned now, what "splat" is anyway, why don't you just use some kind of ink and 'splat' it on paper then wait until it's dry, run it into scanner or shot it with digital camera, little editing in photoshop or gimp, and voila! you have your own splat then...
-
yep gamma was down... well maybe that is because I got 700 unique visitors in past few hours on my web ?
-
or is it some part of a chair? or what? I could help you also with a photo, but I really have no clue what the heck is "splat"...Sorry, but my English is rather poor.I could eventually provide you with a free photograph, as a matter of advertisement because my photos are not well-known yet.
However ... could you tell me what is a "splat" ? Is it a fruit (like an apple) ? Or is it a car ? Or is it a person suddenly falling on the floor ?

there is no way that you disable not the print screen but the recording itself... If you give an way to show some artwork to user, via some webrowser, in any way he could record it somehow. Everything you can view - you can record. so, you must deal with it however you can, one of the best ways is to put the watermark, as someone stated earlier...

kaspersky it's better. robust, massive, and reall virus-killer. hey, it's russian... must be good

I've tested it yesterday... Looks really impressive. Graphics are awesome, and design of interface is good. This new user interface and new style of menus will popularize office even more, because, there is still some people out there that can't realize how to use certain features of MSoffice...Anyway, all those nifty graphics are resource killer, on my duron (2ghz) with 768mb of ram, and nVidia MX460 graphics card, everything goes smooth, but you can feel the massive resource consumption behind...

again one of those debates... now I hear all of those stories:- the flag is moving but where does the wind comes from?- there is no stars in the background?- the sand dosen't look real Well, I think they landed on the moon. And if I could have enough large telescope I would prove that also

thanks. Just I need to figure out the way to programs those tabs so when user is navigated in certain area of web then the TAB is selcted if it's connected with that area of web... well a bit of php coding for me..Looks great with the tabs in my opinion. Easy to find navigation for the user is the key. Make them happy; that's your goal. Or is it? Depends on what your site is for, looking like you'll have a lot of users for photoshop tutorials. The easier they are to find the more satisfied everyone will be.
Why not throw in a tabbed menu above your content. Fits nicely into the page, and looks great.
