I have a relatively fast connection speed anyway, but I will probably check out this accelerator later on tonight anyways.I primarily use Firefox. Another user says that they have been experiencing difficulties when coupling this thing with Firefox? Oh well. We will see. Either way, it is still pretty awesome. I worry in a couple years when Google has the consumers cornered with its innovations, will it suddenly start charging for all its monopolies? It has got an awesome hold on mail services right now, and I would not be surprised if they took over on web acceleration and began releasing website hosting as well. O: We will see.<3

Oh man, I am a dork who apparently has forgotten that 'preview post' exists and seems unable to close her font tag properly. Hahaa. While still on the subject of the game, I do not own a PS2 anymore and was playing it with a friend. I never did get to beat it. What happened at the end? The farthest I got was where the woman next door was killed.

It did not really scare me all that much after awhile. Eventually you just come to expect the insanity and it does not bug you as much. On the first few levels though. Haha. I nearly died when I saw the rabbit sitting behind the girl in the apartment through the peep-hole next door. I spent a great amount of time watching it to see what it would do. And in the prison area - I saw the two-headed baby monster and was like 'Woah.. wtf?'. I approached it slowly and cautiously as it ambled around -- and then it spun around and started stampeding at me. It was in the middle of a bright, sunny day, I was playing with my friends... and I screamed. Hahahaa. Very, very fun game.[/size]

I just use one over here. A crappy, bulky 17 or so inch Gateway. I want a couple of flatscreen monitors since I mainly use my computers for graphics programs, but it is just a matter of finding affordable ones that are reliable.

I personally found FFX-2 far too simple. I generally dislike sequels, and this one...Hm. It almost seems to me like Square is just pumping out games for money, rather than creating something really up to their level. I actually did enjoy playing it, though. I hate when people refuse to play a game just 'because it is a Final Fantasy and all Final Fantasies suck and I am saying that even though I have never actually really played one!'. I see that all too often hahaha. I am getting really tired of the people who refuse to play it just because it is an FF title or just because the girls are wearing the costumes they have. I think the costumes are really cute, actually. People are missing out on Square's ever-changing systems. Sphere Break is great fun, the mission system worked surprisingly well and was not at all annoying, and the speed of the battle system really had you going. It is a lighthearted and enjoyable game, and too bad people are missing out on it just because they feel they are too cool to be seen playing a game like FFX-2. It is really corny, really way too easy, but still fun when you have nothing else to do.

I absolutely cannot keep up with all of these new consoles. I barely had a GBA (not an SP, mind you, but one of the crappy generic ones) when the DS came out. I do not even have a PS2 anymore, and was planning on getting one of the slim ones, but now the PSP AND PS3 are coming out? It is absolutely nuts. In the rush to make new consoles, they seem to forget to actually make a wide variety of games for each. So I buy a several hundred dollar console and have maybe two or three games which I enjoy playing on it, and -- oops! Time to buy the next console! I am getting really fed up with gaming in general now ahaha. What ever happened to the games? The new consoles had better be backwards compatible. If PS3 does not play PS1 games and if the XBox2 does not play XBox games, I will be very, very angered.
-
I think that both have very good points and very bad points each. XBox: The XBox has horrendous load times, and the games can tend to freeze up unless you modify the console in some manner. The console itself is rather heavy and takes up quite a bit of space, and the controllers do not seem to last very long. Every single one of my XBox controllers has a drag on the left analog stick that makes it go several spaces more to the right than I intended for it to in games. There are only three games for the XBox that I enjoy (those being Halo, DDR, and Morrowind), so I would have to say there really is a lack of good games. XBox Live is an absolute hoot, though. PS2: I have found that the PS2 is a fragile console, and if you get one of the older models, it will most likely have disc read errors. It is possible to fix that problem, but it is a long, tedious process during which you have to do your darndest not to tear anything else apart from the inside. I have no clue about online playability since my brother destroyed my PS2 and I have been unable to play it for about a year. I have found that the PS2 has a LOT more games that I enjoy, as well. It really depends on how much multiplayer and online capabilities mean to you, as well as game types. I personally would go for the PS2.

It looks pretty awesome on its own, but the photographs of people actually riding it look positively stupid hahaha.I think I shall just stick with bicycles and four-wheelers, thank you very much. Do Aliens Really Exist? Hot Debate! do they really exist?
Yamato replied to tcave's topic in Science and Technology
In the Bible, they do not even mention the other tribes of humans that were created during the time of Adam and Eve until you hear about Cain's wife, and she is mentioned hardly in passing. Just because something is not mentioned in detail does not mean it ceases to exist. I do believe there are extraterrestrial beings. However, I think it is really foolish to begin a religious debate on either side based on this thinking, so I am not going to go any more in depth in to this. None of this can be known for sure, so it is absolutely pointless to call nonbelievers, believers, or those who believe in aliens fools. None of you are all-knowing, so do not put down your fellow man based on something you have an equal lack of proof for. It is foolish. -

Search Dogs In A Beehive Bees tracking down explosivesdrugs
Yamato replied to Qop's topic in Science and Technology
Are you serious ! Hahaha. That is pretty interesting stuff. Imagine though if a bee found a delicate explosive, and went and bonked right in to it and blew it to smitherines. But seriously, that is pretty awesome. I would imagine that training bees would cost more, though? Dogs are rather intelligent as you said, so it is simpler to teach them basic commands and be assured that they would be rather reliable. I do not think I would put my life on a bee. -
Anyone Play True Rpg's table top adventuring
Yamato replied to tattoopunk's topic in Computer Gaming
*I do =D *I have not played in a few years, but my D&D/Vampire: The Masquerade campaign group would usually play an hour a day during school and 5+ hours on the weekends. * Not too long. What was your first game? D&D 3rd Edition * I had one character who managed to not die during the entire three-month campaign I had him. Usually in D&D I am a wizard, and that particular character was a 4'11'' half-elf wizard. I also had a vampiress for Vampire: The Masquerade, who had a hook shoved through her chest and was made in to a goddess during a half-hour period that I was away from the game getting food. *Computer games are convenient when you cannot get together with friends, but all in all things certainly turn out more interesting when you are playing in a large group of people on pen and paper. *My mind and my character sheets. I also draw my characters so they are easier to remember. Where I live now, nobody save myself plays pen and paper games. I have not gotten to play either of the games I used to play for about a year now. =[ -
It would be quite awesome if it really has been finally released. I adore the beta version (namely because of the handwriting capabilities), so if you do find a trustworthy download link please let us know. That would be super =D

A Nation Of Hypocrites not all political, but still relevant
Yamato replied to tattoopunk's topic in General Discussion
I agree with you, though I have to inquire as to whether or not you simply assume that all people who shop at Hot Topic and wear 'punk' clothes are wannabes. Do you? There really are some people who simply like the clothing style :PAnd while we are on the subject of people pretending to be something they are not, I have another to add: the girls who pretend to be bisexual to get boys to pay more attention to them. They drive me absolutely up the wall, and now anybody who truly is of a different orientation is automatically considered a ***** because of the influence the fakers have had on a great majority of people. This has happened at my school, and it is a shame that such ignorance exists. :/ -
I regretably have not really played all that many SNES games (I need to find my SNES someday and go buy a few games...) , but among my favourites are the following:- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past- Final Fantasy IV- Super Mario Brothers

Keep your credits up, and try to make a couple of posts every day or every other day. It really is not too difficult, as there is quite a variety of subjects which you can post on.

I very much prefer using Google to any other search engine out there, but as others have said before, I find that it tends to be rather vague with the results at times. Scrolling through that many pages of hits that do not quite match up to what you are looking for is bothersome sometimes. I dislike every other search engine, though. If I cannot find something on Google, I will either employ my friends to help me in my search or give up. Rarely have I ever had to give up, though.

The Meaning Of Life An philosophy discussion
Yamato replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
The meaning of my life is to live it to the fullest and to my happiest, and to ensure that those around me are enjoying their life to whatever extent I can. Until God comes down here and tells me to become a doctor, cure cancer, and learn to control the weather, I am perfectly fine just coasting along down this stream, not bothering anybody else. -
So Rpg... But In What Time? lets see what we like... :)
Yamato replied to Giniu's topic in Computer Gaming
I am with Vagodeoz. I very much like the idea of that sort of game. I tend to go for games such as Morrowind and Might & Magic VI. Fantasy with magic and dragons and touches of reality (like, you have to sleep and eat, and you can effect how people like/dislike you). I do not like games set in the future all that much (except for the Halo games, of course). So yes. I adore games in a medieval setting very much. -
Gmail Growing Larger every second counts
Yamato replied to jipman's topic in Websites and Web Designing
This is getting absolutely crazy! I am going to send music videos to people like mad now haha. musichere - If they feel comfortable enough increasing the number of invites and jacking up the storage space, I have the feeling that they have already alloted and compensated for speed. I have noticed no lag or downtime at all since the numbers started going up. It has actually seemed to get faster. -
There is a Dungeons and Dragons game coming out? Hoo boy, I hope it follows the old roll-dice and choose an action format, rather than come up with a story that completely lacks in interaction. I have no clue about the new Zelda. All I have seen of it is what has been released in the trailers. I have not been following all that many games recently. I would just end up getting all excited about it's release and then I would be bummed when it came out and I do not have enough money for it =[ I love how this new Zelda looks though. Wind Waker was charming, but it just did not seem to have the same depth as Ocarina of Time. =/

=O Moved! Alright XD tothefnmax - That sounds like a good dream for life to me. But I enjoy working. Things get boring when they are too easy, I think. As far as life-dreams and not sleep-dreams go, I simply want to exist. I would be happy with a job that paid the rent and got me food, with a little extra pocket cash. I am not out to impress anybody - I just want to be content. Of course, I am still going to strive for something better, but if I hit a low I will not let it get me down.

Help Stop The Wolf Slaughter Sign the petition
Yamato replied to Sadas's topic in General Discussion
That is a wretched thing for people to do. I cannot imagine the thrill in slaughtering an animal at all, even more so when done in such a cowardly manner. Online petitions are very shady, and it probably will not get anything done, but I will sign anyways. You never know.
