  1. i had the same exact problem last month. nils helped me out, and just for future reference here is where he told me to go: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if you go there and click cancel on the pop-up a place for you to input your username and change your password. as i said, just for future reference so you dont have to go through the trouble.
  2. i never was much of an rpg gamer, i always got confused or frustrated and stopped playing after so long. in a rpg that isnt good, you forget where you as supposed to go(part of the reason why i have not beaten secret of evermore yet).my favorite is easily final fantasy 2(4 in japan). such good characters, good story. i found myself running home just to try and get farther in it. not many other games have did that to me. plus, Edge has to be one of the coolest characters ever.
  3. i have heard of them, i like them too. i dont consider myself a fan though. i don't own any albums, or tapes or cds, never seen them live. i love the album aqualung though. and i havent heard that song, but ill give it a listen when i can .
  4. i played the first warcraft. it was quite fun, i stuck with the series when it got to number 2. number 2 was loads of fun for months it seemed, then i switched over to my friends copy of starcraft, which i found better. when it got to number 3 my computer was not good enough to play it, so sadly my warcraft time ended with 2.
  5. i have uninstalled it and given up on my character since that last post. i didnt know about the skill bar, would have made my knight days easier. but the entire thing gets boring i thought after awhile. i was tired of not being able to hunt because i had a slower computer and weak stats as a sorcerer. and equipment got too expensive as a knight because friends would be borrowing from me a lot. i quit for a month or two, and the economy went to hell, my friends sold my equipment to stay afloat.
  6. i just tried it, im hoping it works. and yes! it works. reseting my password now. thanks a lot nils. saved me a lot of worrying there
  7. nope, well its basically the same thing, the image at top, the way the login is and all that. but i still do not see that area to type my username in, i was using steve by the way too. image below shows what i am seeings. am i using the correct address, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/? anyway here is the picture of the page
  8. i do not see that option on the page. after i close the pop up, i see a image across the top "Cpanel X" with a lady at a laptop and other stuff in the background fading out. under that is the place i am supposed to type my name and password all i see is this: "cPanel LoginLogin Attempt Failed!Username Password "no option to request it to be sent to me. if you would like i could provide a screenshot of what i am seeing, if need be
  9. ok, apparently i changed my password. usually i use a rotation of about 4 passwords on sites that requite me to login.i exceeded my bandwith by my suprise quite fast last period, so i hadn't logged into the control panel in some time. the password was saved, but my firefox browser crashed and i lost all bookmarks and cookies. at first when i tried to log into my cpanel i tried the password pmmed to me. it did not work. i tried the other common passwords that i use, and they did not seem to work. i was going to login to make some updates and now i cannot, due to there seemingly being no password recovery form. anyone know how to recover it? do i pm an admin and ask for it to be reset?
  10. "you're probally wondering why i'm" - frank zappa. off of the album "freak out!"just love the way you hear "yeaaaaaaaaahhhh" in the background.its currently my cd of the week, full of great songs. also full of zappa's wierdness. gotta love zappa. i could listen to this cd all day for months and would never get tired of it
  11. he is right. its one of the most common spyware programs. i used to have it, and it messed mine up. i had it on my old computer, i didnt remove it because it was going to hell anyway. its not as great as others seem to say, after awhile it gets boring. http://www.slsknet.org/news/ best p2p program for music and video files. underground music listeners use this
  12. in my opinion they are a "nu metal" band. a genre started by deftones and korn. the genre now includes bands like slipknot, mudvayne, linkin park, and limp bizkit. it basically means, they have rap elements and metal elements in their songs. (hed) p.e. is another nu metal band.
  13. personally i dont like them. i used to, but i got tired of it. i cant say i hate them, it just seems to me that people near me hold them to be a metal band which they are far from being. they call them hardcore which they also are not.
  14. one of my favorites is:"procrastination is like masturbation. its all good until you find out youre screwing yourself."funny and true.
  15. SA used the same engine as the past game, vice city, so the graphics on that are a year old about so i would not doubt it. about SA though; with all the stuff they added in they probally didnt have time concentrating on graphics. although i do feel they over-did the simulation aspect of the game, i mean girlfriends?
  16. ragnarok just became free didnt it? they are offering for free on their site or something, and i know you used to have to pay. probally due to the success of world of warcraft. they are going to lose subscriptions to that, and players in geneal. why not go out with a bang. ive never played it, but i thought runescape was bull plop.
  17. i agree about the banner. it looks like it has been stretched a little much. layout looks good. one small critique i guess, the left side has more than the right on it. looks unbalanced. if the welcome message is going to be the only message on there, im not sure if it will be just saying hypothetically, then you should probally move one part over to the right maybe the poll portion. just a small thing, makes the page longer. over all it looks nice
  18. i have used firefox since the day i heard about it. i used to get spyware, ad-ware, and i even got a couple weak trojans from pop-ups. firefox has eliminated those, and i love it for that. love the tabbed browsing. the features available to add on are great, i have an ftp browser which makes it so easy to upload to stuff. im going to stop now, i sound too much like that beard totting man in the oxy-clean infomercials
  19. i can safely say i never used kazaa due to the spyware. i use soulseek and emule. mostly for live music videos. im an avid collector(or would like to be) of live perfomances by certain bands. i have only have a couple gigs, but i tend to trim the bad ones out. soulseek is great, and if you cant find them on there i try emule. they usually get me what i want
  20. i saw gwar a few weeks back, fantastic show. they lived up to their hype and the lyrics in their songs. some of the stuff was a bit shocking that they would go that far, but they were great musically and the props and everything was great. i came home drenched in pink blood, one of their trademarks is to spray the crowd with "blood", in fact my shoes still have pink on them. they take the cake for my actual experiences. ive seen clips of other bands who look insane live, but have broken up since and i now have no way of knowing for sure
  21. i was going to say. i believe your domain was hijacked or something. i got some rate my picture site. the new link you posted looks good. in not sure if english is your second language, but i noticed some grammarical errors. not trying to be a jerk or anything, just pointing out that you may want to change them. im not quite sure what they would be though: "Why you images a web-site?" ". a couple i think could be fixed by adding a word or two: " Jantuan helps companies to create their unique image in Internet!" maybe "in the Internet".but the design looks ace. keep it up.
  22. PS Workshop is the one i use the most personally. they take other tutorials and link them, as well as their own. im not great at photoshop yet, and to tell you the truth i dont want to be fantastic. i just like being able to do different text effects, makes certain things look a lot better. ive learned a few textures too. havent mastered them as of yet. but good-tutorials is a good site, ive used it a couple of times. i have a bunch bookmarked
  23. that is pretty cool. i expected by the name for it to be a tool search engine, applications and such. didnt expect acsii to come out of it. its really cool searching for your favorite bands and getting a cool image like that.
  24. only online rpgs i have played(that is a mmorpg basically right?) is tibia. tibia was my introduction to the genre and i was sucked in from the moment i played it. didnt hurt that i had a real life friend to help me out, tell me what i could take and whatnot. hunting dragons was fairly fun as a sorcerer. after awhile i got bored.i played runescape for about an hour. i thought it was lame. i felt it tried to do way too much, all the different skills. i tried this after playing tibia for a few months. i felt tibia blew it out of the water. plus it was browser based, major turn off.and now i play diablo 2 online again. havent been playing much, but i have a level 36 slayer paladin and a level 25 druid. i would play more often but i have been swamped with homework and other work as of late
  25. wow, that one wasnt even funny, or scary. i should learn to stop viewing this type of "games" when there is very little description. the old where's waldo one scared the crap out of me the first time, and the one that played a cradle of filth song backwards or something almost made me poo my pants. there needs to be more like them.
