the easiest way to do that is using fantastico. From there you can install a message board like phpbb.You dont need any experience. Just press install and its done. The fantastico is at the bottom in you cpanel.I recommend a phpbb board, its very easy. It might be not secure as another board, but for that its completely free and you may get updates.

I dont know if this service is as good as gmail. Gmail is the best I know...The hriders.com are not good. I tried them out and there is so much time you can't connect to the email server.And also the attachments do not work. After a few mb it stops uploading.

im sorry, yeah I meant PostgreSQL. I dont know much about them either.But I just learned some stuff about MySQL. I also prefer them for my forums.Most scripts requires a mysql so I guess PostgreSQL is not that popular...

ok, to ask my question again:I already have a mysql database, so I would like to install the Coppermine Photo Gallery manually and not with the Add-on sricpts!I downloaded the Coppermine Photo Gallery application which needs either GD or ImageMagick support to create thumbnails. On my PHP install on my devel environment the GD was apparently either default or something I accidentally turned on.When I tried to upload my first image I get the following error:PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed.Is there any way to check this?Thanks!

What is actually the path for GD graphics library? I need it for my coppermine galery.I would like to upload it manually because I'm using my own database...but I don't know the path for the GD. I have a backup of the mysql database I already used on a different server. It works fine, but just the thumbnails are not displayed.Maybe somebody knows how to install/use GD for a coppermine picture galery? Thanks in advance for your help.

Im using FlashFXP too. Its very easy to use and very good!I really like that program... Im using a older version, but I got it free.At least I never had any problems...so I recommend FlashFXP

Its a pity that so many people uses microsoft windows. Linux would be much better...Unfortunately it has no games.But when more users would use linux, there will be more games.Windows is easy, but if you really want a good system you cant have an easy like windows. Linux is much safer but has not as many programs because the producers only make programs for windows because everybody (almost) uses it.

yeah, internet is also important for me. I couldn't live without it, but I also believe in a future with a better/free internet.So I do not believe in an end of the internet because Its almost impossible to end that. So many people, I would say the whole world is connected. You can't just end the internet.

I like pc more! you have much more games on that...but that means you also have to use windows to play games, what I dont really like!Mac is better if you want to work...the operation system of mac is not that easy I think.Pc is better...

The cable is faster (usual) and is also better in my opinion. Its not that expensive and has very good options!The adsl costs more and has the same features or even less than the cable network! It also slower than cable...like in belgium you have to pay more for faster internet.

Age of empires was my favorite game for a very long time! its the PERFECT strategy game for a lan party. Its always a lot of fun...For single player or sometimes also for lan partys, I prefer rise of nations or empire earth. I also have empires, but never played it really long. I think it would be very good too!
