Yesterday I've cleaned out eight JS.Classloader, eight byte...something andeight wintrj! All located in the cache of Sun's Java installation!!!How the h**l did they end up there?Today when I was coming here, the page froze with lots of CPU-load.Kerio pops up with a bla.exe that wants to connect to the world, Yeah right :PI can't find much about bla.exe, I'll guess it's a new one, but it's the firsttime I've got a virus just by opening a webpage. Two full scans in two days at 4 hours each. How fun is that?I'm still not shure about bla.exe. There may still be something left in the systemand I wonder if anyone recognize this one. Is there a removal tool somewhere?Virusmakers should be thrown to some really hungry lions!

full flash sites good or bad?
DanThMan replied to r3d1405241470's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I see only one meaning with flash, and that's to show your talent! Those loading bars, is by far one of the most annoying things out there. However, some sites can be really stunning... http://www.kigot.com/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t for instance... ( click the spider ) -
Sorry about the long quoting, but storage doesn't seems to be a problem here Anyway, I replied in a hurry! Thank you r3d for sorting out the copyright issue, even if I think it's really absurd that the forum owns my writing!

This message was in PHPMyAdmin!"The additional Features for working with linked Tables have been deactivated.PMA Database ... not OKGeneral relation features Disabled"Can anyone give me a hint to what this means?Everything seems to be working just fine. All my tables are errorfree and I haven't got a clue! But I'm not comfortable with having an error

I do understand the rules and I have every intention to follow them!My first two questions was just ment to save your space. I have no problem with adding more information to my posts! My third question though, was if I were allowed to copy my own material from elsewhere! Do you mean that for an example, other forums see my articles as their to copyright?

how do u make menu? dynamic menu
DanThMan replied to wannabeeaweak's topic in Websites and Web Designing
https://www.milonic.com/index.php The most flexible, supported and developed menu out there! Mostly anything can be achieved. It's used by millions and has a large community that will try to help you: If you need it Also free for personal use! -
Calm down! Your page isn't build correctly and in some browsers it will notlook as you want it to. To achieve that, you've got to learn some basics. View the source of a validated page and compare it to yours. Find the differencies in the structure. Visit the link I gave you in my first reply. Try to follow their recommendations! It will take some time to do this, but you need to do it

Where To Get Domains For Cheap? And what companies you can trust...
DanThMan replied to Hercco's topic in Computer Networks
Most of the companies that offers domains is the same. They all work as resellers fora few bigger companies! They can all do their own pricing. It's sad to see that the same product differs so much in pricing! I've used Ourcheapdomains to satisfaction. My second choice would be GoDaddy cheers -
I assume it's cool to be coding in Notepad, but I don't get it at all! What's the convenience? There's a lot of editors that's as fast to work with. I write rather fast, and I love syntax highlighting for quick access to typo's. I think it's crucial to have fast access to images and libraries. Working in multiple documents is so much easier! I say, for a little tiny homepage with no content at all....I may consider using it... Naaaah, don't think so.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%websaint.net%2F You've better click this link and correct some things. As far as the layout goes, it's a little bit too colorful for me! Also seems like the menu is a little bit too large! IMO

Wow Bigyan!Did I step on your toe or something? You did use TSWEBCODER that long before you found out that it was cheap and silly? It's not that at all. Personally, I admire people who puts in those hours and shares their work with the rest of the world. Especially, when their programs is that good and development is constantly ongoing. Support and fixes are almost instant! You say it offers no better facilities, right? Do you by that mean it's no worse either? In that case the money you save would be worth something! I'll guess you also spoke about HTMLGATE without even testing it! A professional wouldn't say that it really sucks, just because it doesn't! I wouldn't say that I've used them much myself, but I always check software that seems interesting! They both have all you need and does the job well. It all comes down to what you like and prefer. Macromedias MX suite was on my harddrive for a couple of years, but it's gone now. Never missed it because I always ended up in 1stPage 2000 and PaintShopProanyway. To all of you that brag about only using Notepad. Why on earth would you do that? To keep it uncluttered? Come on, as long as it's not WYSIWYG editors they wouldn't clutter your code. In 1stPage 2000 you can choose the level of the editors participation to an almost notepadlike style. Still with all the advantages of a real editor when you need it! OK! Go for my throat now

I've got a Asrock K7S8XE+ laying in it's box for a year now.I think it's time to put it in a system now before Semprons taking over completely!I'm leaning towards a XP-M 2400 45w but I'm not 100%sure that it will work with this mobo. Some says it does, some say not!If it works, the oc'ing is extreme and really worth it.3200+, just by changing the FSB, and this with low temp!Anyway I would like to hear about your experiences. Good or bad, preferably with this mobo but also in other combinations.cheers Edit If anyone would be interested I've got the answer elsewhere!Yes it works and if I can get one, I will have like a 3200+ for $100!That's bang for the bucks!

I've tested several clients, but always went back to WS_FTP Pro.Despite what some say, it's really fast. You can't blame the client for low bandwidth or slow servers.cheers
-
They have some helpful little apps over at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ use them together with AdAware ( it's not slow it's efficient! )
-
These are not open source but they come for free and yes, they can matchthe expensive one's 1stPage 2000 ( the best but needs a newer version ) HTMLGATE TSWEBCODER Could easily think of a few more but these are the best. If you're feeling comfortable with Dreamweaver then fine. Otherwise these are better.

If I can make a perfectly good answer in one sentence or with just one link, this shouldn't be considered a short post nor be deleted.People then have to fill their post with something that wouldn't be necessary! Same as above on the thank you part. I really think short thank you'sshould be in order. Sometimes when you have a problem, you'll put it up on several boards. Same thing when you have a solution or have made a howto. Then you must be entitled to share this. You should make this clear if you allow this or not Just my two cents / cheers

and I quote myself They are not narrow-minded, they are most likely beginners. Some of them will learn, some won't! Much better to be open-minded, right? I'll rather give IE credit for it's tolerance! BTW, I love to see your early works -

Those norwegians is charging you No, I'm happy altering between IE and FF. Both are very good browsers and works great side by side. My point was... If it weren't for those little malicious codesnippets out there, both browsers would be lean, mean browsing machines. cheers -

I've been running the Firefox 1.0 prerelease for a while now and I've been disappointed!Upgraded to the latest version hoping for improvement, but no :PI'll guess security has it's priceI loved the 0.9 version, for speed an extensions. Now it's all about the extensions, and that's not enough!I'm going to use IE more frequently again, because....It opens faster, less timeouts and shows more pages as they're intended to look!I don't really care about standard compliancy when I'm surfing the net. I do care when I'm coding, but there's always going to be first time web publishers! It's more fun to surf when pages look good and content is showing upWhen Firefox grows, the security patches will be coming!BTW, shouldn't there be some campaign against those who makes virus andmalicious scripts. Think, surfing and computing without AV's and FW's. And all scripts enabled.....Utopiacheers -
