  1. Well, .NET has a great power on programming web sites... Is true that C is most cross OS language, and that C# is a windows-only language... But with SDK's like mono yu can run it on Linux, so is not that tied up to Windows...Has a great set of libraries that help you make almost everything more easily...I like it better than C+ or C++ 'cause it has a easies and more understandable sintax...
  2. Well I'm sad to be in the position to chose between Linux and Windows...Specially Windows XP, I love it... Is a great layout, otherwise I think is the best 'cause you didn't add Gentoo Linux...Gentoo it is the best... I like it...Windows XP is for look good, Gentoo is an OS for a developer or Hoster... Fast, fast, fast...
  3. I have never used a MAC but I've heard that they are great for design...I'd like to get an iBook and try it out... Maybe... Some day... The bad thing about Mac's is that you need to decided how to spend the money...Kindda like "Hunny We are not eating this month, I'M GETTING A MAC"... So I stick with PC's for now... But the closest I can get to a Mac is by installing Linux, will do soon...
  4. Is a cool feature... You can search stuff quicker to find the best keyword to use and the less results so you can find what you need a lot faster...Is ok... is not THE BEST FEATURE THAT GOOGLE COULD EVER DO but is ok, to try and save some time, sometimes...
  5. Try PsPad, is a text editor with highlights and autocompletation on many programming languages... Is very very cool... And is GPL Go to the homa page... http://www.pspad.com/ Try it and then tell me what do you think??
  6. Maybe the GD library is not enabled... Wait for tomorrow and see what happends... By the way... I made a picture gallery with PHP+GD... If anyone would like to I can make a tutorial to create thumbnails and stuff... Also an advice: Don't use: imagecreate($width,$height) That could make your pictures look preaty bad... Use: imagecreatetruecolor($width,$height) That makes it look exactly like is and you won't lose the image quality... If you can't use the GD library you could use ImageMagic too.. is a library that can do the same and more... Hope it helps...
  7. So?I meant I genereate my menus from Databases, Dynamicaly...That's dynamic, your talking about interactive menus...Highlights and stuff.... So read carefully before dismiss a post :)J/K...BTW I wanna talk to you abotu something...email me... neno.tu@gmail.com
  8. I use... Dreamweaver? FrontPage? nope... Notepad Yeah, notepad+IE+Firefox....Used to have Opera but reinstalled windows and I still haven't install opera again... will do...I like to code sites by my own hand and That's the only way to know exactly what's happening... All HTML editors make their own codes and adds them to your site without asking :)So I like my notepad...
  9. Well PHP is powerful than ASP.... So I my choice in this poll is PHP, but if we were talking about ASP.NET....That's another stuff....You should try it...
  10. Adobe... Photoshop, Ilustrator and ImageReady all combined...Try it You can do amazing stuff...
