Gbrowser And Gmessenger? Rumors of a Browser and IM...
hast-webben replied to CoolBradG's topic in Search Engines
Hi, I can imagine that an closer cooperation between mozilla and google is more possible than that google would spend time on making their own browser. I've been used firefox for almost a year now, and I can just say that IE is stone dead forever as NS has been for a while. And also thunderbird takes OE to the grave. I'm really excited to see what happen here in the future. Cheers! Jens -

Who Is Considering Switching?
hast-webben replied to MajesticTreeFrog's topic in Websites and Web Designing
HiIf I could would I really like to switch to Linux, but in all my computering life had I only have expirience with M$ OS, and some singular time with Mac OS. That is the biggest problem for me, as I know that M$ is crashing all the time and Dr. Watson is the most known employee at M$, but that have what ever that I like it or not been used to.Linux seems more stabile and more skalable than windows, but it is just so complicated. So if some could learn me how to do or advice me an easy Linux OS would I take it into my good night prayer..:-)See youCheers!Jens -
Greenhouse Effect Is this the so called final countdown?
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in Science and Technology
Hi again, I do understand what you mean :-) Even that I'm an pure viking, do I really hate when the tempeture is lower than -20 degree celcius and defintly -40 as normal here in this area. But when the perma ice is melting can't I really find the party anymore, but the concequense of that wouldn't I either see in my lifetime, and either in my childrens lifetime. But an winter without any snow or ice isn't an right winter for me anyway. It would be alike an summer without sun. Cheers Jens -
What And Why You Believe please write logical posts.

Hi,I wont call me for a atheist person, but more like an heathen person. As an pure Nordic (Scandinavian) would I decleare my true spirit to the Norse mythology and the Norse gods, as for me does it gives more than an reason to belive. For me is it a part of my culture legacy, and I even have dokumentation of conections to the old Vikings. They wasn't only babarians, but they also had an very beutyful spirit of questions about life and death, and for all that womens who might read these words did the norse mytology content huge respect for the female, or said in other words that the female sex was more stronger then when it is todays christian culture. And here in my part of the world was the christianity used to get the women and the regular people down.So my answer to what I'm belive in can I declare that I'm Asa beliver, and I could had wroten alot more about this issue, but I would like to discuss it here if any should be interested. In the name of ValhalCheers!Jens -
The Meaning Of Life An philosophy discussion
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
Hi, I don't agree with that, as all science has their roots in searching for the meaning of life and death. For me it's all about fighting the pain and suffering, as we as humanbeeing never had accept that the life has to be just pain and suffering. I'm not accepting it too, even that the most of my life has been one big fight, and therefor also this discussion about meaning of life, as I belive that some meaning has there to be, but where??? :-) Cheers Jens -
The Meaning Of Life An philosophy discussion
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
Really interesting philosophy indeed. And your description about nothing looks also like "digging an half hole". What is a half glass of beer? A glass is a glass, even if its just half full or empty, so therefor has nothing also to be something or anything. Cheers Jens -

hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
Hi, I didn't saied that I had the answers, but seem in an philosophical corner is these questions always the basicaly essense of all philosophical questions. I think that this issue is extremly exciting to discuss, and if I had the answer wouldn't I ever had asked. But god wipes is always optimal and the first step into the light. In not an negative guy, I'm just interested into philosophy. Cheers Jens -

I know that the contents in life do you have to make by your self, and I also know that it's impossible to get all reason about why things are like it is. But many of reasons is possible to find, where would the ex. gen technology had been without searching for reasons? DNA's can answer many of surch questions, but still not them all. -
Greenhouse Effect Is this the so called final countdown?
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in Science and Technology
Yes I've seen that mega hole over anactica and it scares me too. I also know that it isn't just the greenhouse effect that reason the change of the global weather condition, but I don't think that we should ignore the posibility of reason, as these changes had been happen faster than they did counted. And by the way does chaos rules in the mother nature. -
We have been told this for now many years, but what is actually happen? Snowchaos in California, flooding in Central Europe and at least Green christmas in Northren Scandinavia. Don't any take this serious? Or isn't the right time to start to change our culture and the way how we're violate our mother nature? I know that this we're getting today is what we had saved in the atmosphere for the last 100 years, but if we continue this it would even be worse in the next generation. I know that I'm one of these who taking the car to destinations where I could had used my legs to walk, and I'm not proud of it either, but I like to know if there is other who think about how serious it actually looks like today, and then if there is someone who think about their lifestyle could have influrence on it.Not so much Cheers here more than worried thoughtsJens

The Meaning Of Life An philosophy discussion
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
I belive that everything that happen and everything that we're doing is must have some kind of reason for something. But I also do belive that it isn't always we understand for what reason or understand for what reason that we can use that or these situations we are going through in our lifetime. I think that it's extremly interesting topic to study, but I'm also known about that it's not all questions or requests that we're able to get to know, as someone or somehow had decided it just have to be like so of somekind of reason..:-) Life is really strange and sometimes extremly complicated.CheersJens -
What is the meaning about life? And is there a meaning with life if it's all about that we someday have to die? And if so why did we ever been born? What is right and what is wrong? What is good and what is evil or bad? This just an discussion about the meaning of life, and I hope that this could be both exciting and usefull discussion.Peace, force and joyJens

I really hopes that Google continue to do what they are best on, to be and fast and useful search engine. Cheers Jens -
Best Search Engine? My money is on Google
hast-webben replied to Darren1405241470's topic in Search Engines
Not excited to see that Google was leading in this poll. Once upon the time was Yahoo and Altavista leading, but I agree 100% with all the other adds in this poll forum that Google is the fastest and often the place where you're finding what you're looking for, and when I don't find it do I use some of the others. So a big greatings to our sponsors Google..:-)CheersJens -

Headbangers Ball Metal and Hard Rock
hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
Exactly, and it was also one of my ideas with this forum, as I also like to know about new exciting bands on the metal front as sometimes is the old a little boring. So if you have some hints then go for it..:-) Cheers Jens -

hast-webben replied to hast-webben's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't say that Metal is going downhill, but metal isn't just metal anymore. As you mentioned is some part of metal growth in direction of what you're calling "newpunk" another part are playing the same song that they had being played the last 30 years and the last is being soap tv star, Ozzy. But is it forbidden to be nostalgic? :-) I'm mostly to the good old school (and ofcause old records) Cheers and again happy newyear Jens -
I can't agree with you more, as it's often too simple to just deleare that you're feeling sad, but going into the kernel of why you're feeling sad is often more complicated, as at the first it can have more than one reason, and then does it also hurting to face the trouth, but when you had faced it then can you start to work with it.

Hi,I'll like to say to all who has supportet this forum that I would like to wish you all an warm and nice christmass and an happy new year. I really hope that 2005 would be an step in the right level to make this world happier and warmer to live in.See youCheersJens

hast-webben replied to Hercco's topic in General Discussion
I think that is an good question. But I can as one of the first present my #1 favourite band, Dead Kennedys, album Frankenkrist and tune Too drunk to f*** and Holyday in Cambodia. Sex Pistoles isn't forgotten either and here is my favourite tune God save the queen and Anarchy in UK. Nina Hagen Band Unbehagen...:-) (B4 metal was I punkrocker at the old school..:-) ) Cheers! Jens Punk is still not dead! -
I know that but I don't have much problems with privacy regarding surch problems, as I know that we're many who feels like this and then further is realation problems an standard in todays living. The best thing is to speak about it and then go on, and a part of it to see that you're not alone in this world who have problems. Here in sweden had they done a test about the best selling medecinal products and not quiet surpricing was it following: 1. Painkillers like Treo 2. Antidepresive 3. Nicorette (Stop smoking chewinggums) What a world....!!!! Cheers Jens
