If it's for that mather.. i, as i surfer, rather get an .exe projector of the full site.. i mean, make it available for dwnloading... and make an html version of the site..Flash it's usually a grafci design show off... and it's cool, but i would rather wait my dap software to to the waiting for me, and i could see the site faster, more closely... FREE OF EVERY STRING!... and, if you're preocupided about hits... publish new content from time to time..

Ok, the first site search utility i used was FreeFind http://www.freefind.com/ The good thing about it is taht you can customize almost everything, and it bulids up a site map (very good for browsing a site) test it

Something really bad about full-flash sites is that search engines like google, etc.. don't indez the contents..Althoug you can put the info hiden in the code for indexing porpouse.. taht''s why samll content sites are suitable...i think

heimcomputer it's totally right... you need to tell us first what is it u want with a cms... For example.. i have a college newspaper published on phpnuke, because the topics layout is the appropiate for the newspaper needs.. but i also have a hip-hop portal running under xoops, because i manage a lot of different info and contents... (so, if you need help with xoops, i'll be more than happy to help with), ok. I also manage a little site for a company, so y use CMSimple, because it's very easy to edit, and the site doesn't need to be changing all the time, there are no news, etc..Hope to hear from ya soon

Well, after spinrite nothing change... and i mounted the damaged HD on a win xp pc, and it was recognized in windoews, only not accesible...i ran a lot of diagnostic programs and they all show the phisical parts are okCould u send me the link to get Knopix, i'm gessing, linux=free, Knopix too???It's not intermitent is permanent!!!!the reason a haven't give it a low density fromat is because i'm afraid i might loose ALL MY SUPER ULTRA HYPER MEGA iIMPORTANT DATA!!!!, for the moment (because my main board was damaged like two weeks later i haven't have the oportunity to work on it), i'm gathering data recovery software to try to get my data back!Thanks, and please keep posting!!!!PD: I found a page where they know how to solve this problem, but they charge like 40 bucks... Ok, so, i would like to give u a recomendation.. for the http://www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=1337player&e=com website you should use iframe to show the center content.. why?, simple.. 1. You don't have to reload ALL the page to show some (small) info, and 2. You will have a scroll, so, for ex: you could show a lot more info with out messing out the image design.. if you like, i could help u out with it... And the prices... humm.. ok, i used to charge like $30 usd... but i was getting ripped off!!!! i know charge 150.. jeje

Ploforia, as i posted before... i runned the maxtor hard drive diagnostic software, and spinrite... (i think that's way better than norton utilities).. and the HD is not physically damaged...When i mount the damaged HD on another PC, windows recognizes the drive, but can't access it, it even appear in the bios.. and i put it on the Master secundary IDE port... so it runs windows from the HD prevously installed in that PCThe IDE cables r in place, so is the "master" jumper

Interesting question... well, my personal opinion is: Internet comunities can finish in great human bonds.... i know this personally because i run my own comunity, and i have meet many people in the way of managing it... So, they should be cyber-friends... they are not unreal, but also not so real... they may be more objective because they don't have to see your face when saying anything.. for ex: how could u tell your best friend he stinks???? that would hurt him (actually i'll tell him).. anyway.. that sort of stuff don't happend in the cyber comunity... no phisical judgment are made (unless your trying to meet a partner.. in taht case the looks will matter)... so. Finally, cyber-friends..

i have had the same problems some years ago... so it's better to stablish a standard name patron... all images in small cases..... when uploading (WS_FTP for example) there's an option to make all files samllcase... because as you said, the GIF was generated when u were making the image, this way it won't matter if this happends again...
