if use ipb,this ads can be made easily,for i'm using ipb for a long time so i can tell you how to do it.on the admin panel of ipb you can edit anything of the templates so you can add the ads script.on phpbb i think it's the same method,for it's an opensource project,we just don't mind that,the ads script can be added easily also if you know some html knowledge,or know that edit the body of forum.guangdian

1. Quick Install

If you have basic knowledge of using FTP and are sure your hosting service or server will run phpBB 2 you can use these steps to quickly get started. For a more detailed explanation you should skip this and go to section 2 below.

 

Decompress the phpBB 2 archive to a local directory on your system.

Upload all the files contained in this archive (retaining the directory structure) to a web accessible directory on your server or hosting account.

Change the permissions on config.php to be writeable by all (666 or -rw-rw-rw- within your FTP Client)

Using your web browser visit the location you placed phpBB 2 with the addition of install/install.php, e.g. http://myDomain.com/phpBB2/install/install.php, http://myDomain.com/forum/install/install.php etc.

Fill out all the requested information and hit Submit

Change the permissions on config.php to be writeable only by yourself (644 or -rw-r--r-- within your FTP Client)

Click the Complete Installation button or revisit the location you entered above.

phpBB 2 should now be available, please MAKE SURE you read at least Section 8 below for important, security related post-installation instructions.

i have known that long time ago,but actually the site of eurodns.com won't accept the free .be domain.you can try it,on the last step it will went to a https page,they wanna you give them 4 $ for one year by credit card.--but just look at what i'm got:fdsa.bedatin.be \i'd like the first one.

it's really interesting thing.-next time you upload something,i suggested you use cpanel-->filemanager,but not FTP.you can upload a zip file.then on the panel of file manager you can extract the zip file.that's easier t han uploading each file to the host on FTP i think.ps:i 'm not the semilar problem ever before.it's something wrong with your connecting but not the server issues.If your site is important,test it with your friends online,if they also can not access it while you can not access it,you should think about change a web host service,because your isp may be block this server,you know?how and why it's none of your business.your minds just at the site of yours.

check the directory of the "upload" or "file" some directoies like that.read the instruction again.it will tell you that the directory for storage the file uploading must be the permission of 777 i think.ps:i suggested all needed to use the scripts on fantastico go to the official site of this script,downloading the latest stable version of the script.zip it,upload it to your host,then install it.it's a good way use that.but you know the fantastico script always not the latest version,maybe there would be some holes with it.thank you.

and you have used the new site for one or two month,you think that,"oh,it's very nice,better than the old one."

oh,in the pun dir i missed the Favicon.ico and 404.shtml,i should do something with that.add the icon and 404 page.
that sometimes maybe the image missing,file missing,(like fdsa.htm).you would just added the missing file to navigate the users to the new page or Index of the site.
that is a really useful tools on cpanel.
PS:i just even can't make the custom 404 pages after i have read so many topics there.oh bad luck.that's might be the problem of .htacss,and the directory.

try some proxy to access it.proxyabc.com would gave you the ip of proxy.and i think,the problem you got is very strange,that the server of 69.50.188.18 is just at the same place with the Xisto.com.how was that happened,oh..tried another internet service provider i suggested.if you had friends on IM,let them to check the site hosted here.if they can access or not,which isp they are using.that you will know how to solve it.our site runs normally,so the problem is on you,sir..be patient.

i thinkyour isp haz blocked the 69.50.188.18.if you wanna manage the site hosted on the Xisto,then get out of your school and using another isp connecting way to access the cpanel or your site.---i know on some countries the school internet don't allow the person using it access the site abroad,but you still can view the Xisto.com and it's forum,so i just think that 69.50.188.18 is on the black list of them.okay,the problem solved i think.it's not the things about the service of trap.

make a sub dir below the public_html upload the jooma to the sub dir with the whole zip or tar file download from official site but not fantascio.extract it , install it.

If you have the problem of the database.i suggested you use another php forum ( opensource or business )but not phpbb.this one must small.runs fast.load smoothly.then the storage for this forum getting small.the bandwidth also lower.thank you.guangdian

yourname.trap17.com:2082/login/

i think this will do work because :yourname.trap17.com/cpanel would opened a window that sometimes the firewall would block it.

Is that at your home,connecting with and phone line or ADSL modem? no,that your server could be viewed by others from internet but the speed is So slow,your server(computer) must be running always (1 year or more) ,can it afford that?
-then you should put the server to ISP's place,they gave the service for the high speed connecting to your server.(it will costs so much may be you can not stand that).
