Well this is late in coming but here is an update on the puppies.I Cant believe the puppies are 18 weeks old today where has the time gone it has flown by.And like we said we would do we kept 2 of the puppies Gaston and Marley.Vinnie,Buster,Shaz,Buddy,Redge, and Holly all went to their new homes before the 27/12/11.I must admit it was sad seeing the group going down gradually we are lucky we have had updates on how all 6 puppies are doing.Marley and Gaston have the run of the house now and they love it in the the evening we put them in their play pen for the night.Once the morning arrives the jump out of the play pen them boys can really jump.I had the boys on puppy biscuits which i moistened with tepid what but their little poos were strange they were a greeny black colour and like a cow pat so i put them on dog meat and mixer and their poos went to looking normal. And you can imagine they love meal times they get so excited they jump up and dog the bowls out of your hand.So we are learning them the sit command so when i give them their food they have to sit before i put the bowls on the floor. We dont regrette one minute keeping 2 puppies it is hard training 2 puppies at one time buts its fun too.And mum Dido loves playing with the puppies dad Lucky can get a bit grumpy with them maybe because he is older. And Dido still tells them off when she sees in her eyes that they are being naughty.I am going upload a few photos of Gaston and Marley enjoy them.

Should A 2 1/2 Yr Old Start Schooling? Prep-Nursery Level
nanna replied to berryblitz's topic in General Discussion
I Lived in belgium 26 years ago where i married and had my two children i lived in belgium for eight years. And in belgium children start school from 21/2 years of age as long as the child is out of pampers during the day.Now both my children were out of pampers during the day before they were 21/2 and i let them start school at 21/2 years of age and i have never regretted it one minute.I think the advantage they from starting school at such an early age they get to mix with other children which then i found my two were never a round other children both of mine learnt to read from an early age and write as well. Also when the children start school on their first day they dont get upset about leaving mum.Where the older the child gets to starting school they get upset becaue they have been with mum a bit longer.I reallly thinks its a good idea for children to start school at 21/2 years of age it dont do them no harm infact i think it does them good. -

I have only ever experienced bugs in four once.Years ago we had two young kids work was scarce in mrdees line of work and we were claiming benefits. Now and again we recieved food packages on top of our benefits.Well this one time we had quite a few bags of flour given to us which contained these bug things in it but we still used the flour. They were 1kg bags of flour and used to store it in its own bag in the food cupboard.Since we came to England to live i have never experienced these bugs in any flour and i always have three types of flour in my cupboards Self raising flour Plain flour and Corn flour. How i store these flours the corn flour i keep it in the box it comes in the self raising flour and plain flour i keep in two jars i fill them up and the rest of the bag of flour i keep in the bag it comes in and refill the jars when they are empty. The two jars i use are glass storage jars with screw on lids.

Road Accident Prevention Ideas life is precious
nanna replied to serverph's topic in Science and Technology
i can and would prevent a traffic road accident. If i was out somewhere and i see someone who had been drinking get in a car to drive i would get straight on the to the police and report them.Thats my biggest hate is drink driving innocent people killed or injured because of their stupidity how many articles ive seen in the news or media of accidents caused by drink driving. And the majority of drink drivers come out of a road traffic accident unscaved and their victims are killed or injured. Its the same as drivers on they mobile phones they dont and cant concerntrait on the road while talking on their mobile phones.I know when im on the phone or my mobile i dont always concerntrait on whats going on around me so how can a driver.Ive been in a taxi many a time when the taxi driver answers his mobile phone i dont care i ask them to end their call as my life is in their hands why should i be a victim of a road traffic accident all because of a phone call.So please dont drink and drive drivers and please pull over when your mobile rings drivers. -
My opinion is the kids of today have no respect for no one or nothing. And why because the dont get punished like in my day 40 years ago.when i was a kid a smack from our parents never hurt us or a punishment in school like the cane or the ruler on the hand which i had once but cant remember what for but i remember clearly the teacher who did it,And another fact most of the kids today get everything handed to them on a plate. They want the latest mobile they get get it they want a laptop they get it and they get all of this for not having to do any chores. And when you ask them to help you with anything most parents get answed back and wont help you. When i was a kid we only ever got things for birthdays and christmases and we respected our belongings because of this.I remember not getting pocket money till i was 11 and then it was only 20p a week which you could buy lots of sweets for that or a comic and some sweets. And for our pocket money we would wash up or clean our bedrooms or hoover anything and we never thought anything about doing these chores back then it was the normal thing.to do.And i remember before we had pocket money we would get a treat of sweets on the friday when we went shopping or a treat of sweets on the sunday when we went with daddy to get the sunday newspaper. We even used to entertain ourselves we would with friends go and make camps in the woods near us or we would play schools in one anothers back gardens or ball games on the street with our friends we never had modern high tech things to keep us entertained. One thing i wouldnt want to be a kid now a days i prefer it in my childhood days.so you see parents and governments are to blame how kids behave today. So really the father was to blame too for his actions.

I agree beasts like Dutroux the death sentence should be brought back.Criminals now adays no matter what they have done are not punished for their crime they have committed they have a life of luxery in prisons. They are given pocket money to buy ciggarettes or toilettries or phone cards to phone loved ones. And they are able to better their education or learn a new career.they have free time to amuse theirselfs football and snooker tables and other luxery items to entertain themselfs. And you wonder why some people reoffend because of their lifes of luxery in prison. And when these criminals come out of prison they are given money to start them off in the outside world. Its the same as sentencing life should mean life and not let free after 25 years. When someone is sentenced to life to mke that should mean till the day the criminal dies. How many criminals are set free before they time is done and this so said realesed early for good behaviour they have committed a crime they should serve the whole of their sentences inside prison. And as for this beast dutroux what will be the next thing we are going to hear him being released on good behaviour it is a disgrace he is able to have things done his own way.No thought has gone into the poor victims of his brutality.
