I can't have it to only allow from one IP address, because I often use my school's computers to work with my site I don't know what web server I use. ( I an a total newb at web design) Only problem with that is, most of my friends at school also go on my site. The way our school network is set-up, is that the library and general accounts can be accessed by anyone, so my password would be useless. I'm sorry that it's like trying to teach a pre-schooler web design, but I'm more of a hardware person myself, so I'm not well educated in all of these questions and terms. I'll try to answer your questions as soon as I figure out how to answer them I just turned in my schedule for tech classes, and I will be taking web design, so I will soon stop asking these questions

That is what I'm trying to do. I want to have the secure pages for my form logs without having to enter my password for each log page, only the admin page. But, I don't want people to directly access those pages by typing the address of the log into the address bar either.

I think dogpile is the best search engine out there. It searches all of the popular search engines, and it gives you the most popular results from them. It searches google, yahoo, altivista, ask, and some others.

One of the mods like this is called Garrys Mod v6. It is the only bod I have downloaded so far, and is the only game I'm playing right now. There are other mods like this, but I like garrys mod the best.

What I wanted to do, is have a link to another page, and have the address for that page like:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ so I can have the page labled "admin" password protected, and only be able to access the other pages in the admin page by the links in that page. This will probally make no sense to anyone.

I play hl2 with all settings on high, with a dual monitor set-up. I can see no choppiness at all. I have even played winamp with a full screen visualization on one monitor, and hl2 on the other.

I just got done with Aquamark3 this morning, and I got a score of 45273 with no AA and 4AF, 1024x768 resolution. Is that a good score?

I am currently using windows 98, and so far, I believe it is the most stable OS on the market(If it is still on the market...)

My specs My System temp is about 23 celcius, and my cpu temp is about 32 when overclocked to about 3.1 gig

Is it a computer, or is it a freezer? Seriously, Is the speed really all that nessissary? You probally could have just bought dual xeons, compatable motherboard, Lian-Li server case, water cooling, and more lights than NYC on new years eve. Besides that, very nice set up. Can you use that room as a meat locker?

I hope Half-Life 3 wont come out for a while. I already spent enough on my computer to get it to run Half-Life 2. Seriously though, I think Half-Life 3 will be absoutely astounding in the graphics department, but besides that, it will be the same as Half-Life 2: No replay value at all.

I overclocked it last night. I got 2000 more points on 3Dmark01, with it overclocked to 3 gig. I'm running Prime95 on it right now at 3.13 gig.(I'm at school; Being in the computer lab for homeroom is sweet) Anyway, my fsb is 240(max is 255 on mobo). It's really easy to oc on my abit vt7. I'll post the results when i get home(hopefully my processor won't be fried)

What kind of benchmarking program should I use? I used 3Dmark01, and i got a measly score of 10772(i know its wrong, i scored 15294 when I benched my friends exact same machine) Anyway, tell me what to download, and I'll get the scores up.

I want to overclock the processor, but I'm stupid and I dont know how to do it. I read the Overclocking Basics on this forum, but that is pretty much for a AMD. Does anyone have instructions to overclock my processor with the motherboard I have? BTW, the newspaper reporters didn't want to waste their time on " The Mod of the Month", although the editor wanted to do it.

I have had my starter account for about 2 months now, and I have yet to make a single page(I had to have someone make me a quick enter page in order to keep it alive). I've tried teaching myself how to write HTML, but it has been unsuccessful. I'm planning on taking a HTML class at school next year, but I'm getting a little impatient. Does anyone know of a nice, small, andfree WYSIWIG editor that is rich in features?

It is going to be featured in my school newspaper(no clue why, it's not that good...), and I will try to get it up for my sig. What do ya'll think?

I just want to see what most peoples system runs at. I just rebuilt my system, and i want to see how it stacks up to others. Also, put your system specs with your temp. I'll tell you mine after a week.

Is there anyway on windows ME to be able to log in with ctrl-alt-del when the computer is not on the network? I just want to do this for fun, so its not important.

At my school, the admin just put Firefox on the school network. It's not like its a small school either.(972 students) If it is good enough to be put on school computers, I think it is good enough for the general public.

Its too small for me, I would be afraid I would break it. No seriously, I really would just spend that money, and get a nice creative nuvo 256 mb with a screen.

I honestly don't like the mini. I need something that I can't accidentally sit on at a LAN party. In my house, I would probally lose it among the mice, and extra keyboards laying around my room. Like everyone else said, it probally won't get more people to go over to the mac side.

It is running great, and thanks Solus, that ids good advice for everyone who uses windows. The first thing i did when i got this computer is to download all of those programs.
