  1. Your site cannot be viewed by anyone once your bandwidth has exceeded until the next month when the bandwidth is renewed for the next month. So far I haven't ever exceeded bandwidth on the hosts that I have been on, but I've seen sites where their bandwidth has been exceeded and their site comes up with a "Bandwidth exceeded" page much similar to a default 404 error page. Hope to be of some help.
  2. Just phpMyChat and 3 images. Are you sure you uploaded everything properly?Or maybe you're currently working on it as we speak.I like the demonic pic you've got in your images directory.
  3. Yeah, this is somewhat illegal. Even mentioning something like this, even software cracks and keys reduces a forums integrity somewhat, and also holds the forum that has these messages stored responsible for this illegal activity whether or not they had anything directly to do with it.Also, isn't it against Xisto's TOS to host illegal files? If not, it should be. Xisto can be held accounted for your ignorance.
  4. Just to point out an error on your site Eric. I think it should be "Due to the massive amount of spamming".
  5. I really liked that game. I used to play it back in the day. I always thought it was better than Red Alert in some respects.
  6. I use Trend Micro Antivirus and Internet Security. It gets almost all the viruses I've got since I've been using it. Works well for everything because it quarantines potential virus files in an instant. I'd reccommend it.
  7. First off, it's 1GB, not 100GB.I've seen a Gmail account where someone has obviously sent mp3's as attachments to themselves and given the password out to everyone to download these mp3s. Also, when people log into this account, they can send their own mp3s to the open gmail account, making it a sort of a file sharing account for all.So yeah, the only way I can think of "hosting" files is by attaching them to emails that you send to yourself.
  8. Thanks very much. I've had a few comments that I should add more images, so I'll be doing that sometime soon.My coding is alright to me, but the site was made a couple of months ago, so my coding habits now are much different to the initial coding I did a few months ago.Thanks.
  9. I should probably get that sometime. I;m assuming the download is large, so I'll have to download it sometime later because I have a 56k modem. It would be handy to get a cd sent to me, but I'm not sure if they send to Australia.
  10. Hey there. Although I'm new here, I was surprised to find that there was no thread created for Australians here. So therefore I'm creating it now.Are there any fellow Aussies here, or people that have visited Australia?
  11. Heh. They should rename New Zealand to "Middle Earth". That's how most people that have not really heard of New Zealand know about New Zealand.I should go visit my neighbouring country sometime. I'm from Australia.
  12. Firefox is the way to go. I haven't been bothered with a pop-up for a few months now. But then when I use the computers at uni, I get really annoyed because they have IE, and I'm no longer used to having pop-ups flying in my face. I can also easily allow a website I trust to show pop-ups for private message notifications on forums for example.I'm pretty sure that in my IE using days, the version of MSN Plus that I hahd installed an automatic pop-up blocker in IE. It was handy, but Firefox is handier.
  13. Blind Guardian rocks. I really love Nightfall in Middle Earth, it's so epic. I really need to get some more of Blind Guardian. OFr those of you who like power metal and LOTR, you should check out Blind Guardian's Nightfall in Middle Earth. It's sort of like a story of Middle Earth told in rock, but it's set around ancient Middle earth, not technically in Lord of The Rings.
  14. I use Firefox after years of using that incompetant IE. IE shouldn't dominate the market of web browsers, it's complete rubbish. All of the viruses I have had over the years are a result of using IE. IE is not as secure at Firefox. Furthermore, all other non-IE browsers support file types such as .png image for example. IE doesn't support it, resulting in development of such file types and associations going down the drain. Also, tabbed browsing is much more efficient in my opinion, a concept IE will never grasp any time soon. If you want to find out more information on the incompetance of IE, go to http://www.stopie.com/. You'll be doing the world a favour by eradicating IE.
  15. Yeah, after a couple of weeks of my initial submission, Google crawled my site, but the description isn't the one that I set in my meta tags. It just displayed the first line of text that I had on my site as my site's description. I have added some text to the splash page of my site, but I think I'll have to wait again until the next Google crawl. It hardly matters to me at the moment, because I don't really have that high a PageRank. It was 0 last time I checked, but I'm working on it.
  16. I think I might give that a go. I use Firefox, and Gmail is handy to have open all the time because it automatically refreshes when you have a new message, but the toolbar would be handier.I'll see how it performs under my 56k connection, and under Firefox.
  17. I'm puzzled as to what this Google Bomb entails. When I saw this topic I thought it was for something malicious to attack Google, but then I thought, why would you post this on a forum like this? It obviously means something that isn't as malicious as it sounds, am I right? Please explain more...
  18. Hey, my online website and portfolio design has been online and running for a couple of months now. The site is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. The reason why I came to Xisto was because I needed a hosting account for another one of my projects. I have been web designing for a while, although I only got really serious into web design at the start of this year. Please visit my site, and give me some feedback/constructive criticism. Also, rate out of 10. Thankyou.
  19. The php counter script I use for all my sites is phphits v1.1 found at https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=43UjVN3tPMmH8QeiwYCYCA&gws_rd=ssl. It's very handy because you can set the time duration of what counts as a "new" hit, and you can display the number of users online in a duration of time, and also the number of hits in the last 24 hours. It also has a log page with statistics of what users came at what time, their IP and what page they hit. Very handy. Also it's very easy to use if you know the basics of php. It uses a MySQL database.
  20. I don't drive, and I don't plan on getting my license any time soon, but from what I see on the roads, geriatric drivers tend to be the most dangerous even though they seem to think that they've had years of driving experience. Most really old people here in Australia initially didn't sit a test to get their drivers license back in the old days.
  21. Heh, I'm 19, turning 20 in January, but I've been legally able to drink for almost 2 years now. That's how much living in Australia rocks. It's funny how in most states in America, when you turn 18 you're old enough to vote and go to war, but when it comes to alcohol, you've got another 3 years sonny.
