Mr Self Destruct

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but... I just finished messing around with Photoshop, and I ended up producing this avatar. It's my second avatar that I've made with Photoshop. I thought I'd give the old one the flick as it was getting a bit boring. It is an image of my eye which I edited and animated it so it kinda looked like the glowing Goa'uld eyes from Stargate (if you know what I'm talking about). Tell me what you think about it...

I'm in Australia and it's been almost 2 years since I graduated from high school, and I must say that I've never heard anything of this IB. When exactly did it get introduced? Or had I been hiding under a rock all throughout high school?

Firefox is seriously the best. I can't believe that I used crappy IE for so many years, letting through a whole bunch of viruses. Everything that I do with Firefox is so easy and so powerful. Yeah, I just find that I enjoy web designing as a hobby right now instead of "a job". I just like doing projects as I always seem to learn something new everyday, so I've got to keep it up,

@odomike: Thanks a lot. I've seriously got a lot more to learn about graphics though.@clouds421: Thanks. I agree with you there. The side panel does look pretty damn empty. Once I finish my other project I will go back and make the site look prettier (lol) and fill it with content.Thanks.

Gee, thanks guys.@lil2day: I'm more into dark gothic and metal type things so it usually sits around a dark theme. Meh, it's just me. My next project however will be a great change from the dark themes. I will be finishing the content soon, I just had to leave it for now to keep up with my next projects deadline.@Bash: At the moment I feel that Finntroll.info is my best design yet. , but thanks. I'll also see what I can do about the side menu. I think I did kind of rush that, as it mostly looks a bit blank.Thanks again guys.

Well if you don't have a credit card then it's probably not a good idea to register a free .info domain for yourself. You people do realise that you'll have to pay for it after a year is up don't you? So if you can't afford it now, you better think about trying to afford it in a years time, otherwise your "free" domain is no more.

Well seriously all I did was search for as many cool photoshop tutorials I could, and just played around with them, integrating stuff that I learned in other tutorials with different other ones. My latest project (hosted here) which should be released in a few days is one of my biggest designing improvements. I'll keep you all posted when it's out.

Well I think it's absolutely pointless disabling right click for a site with images and such. It's pointless because these images are already loded into the Temporary Internet files, so you already have them saved on your computer in the first place. Also it's extremely annoying for me to disable right clicking, as I always open up new links in new tabs in Firefox and wait for them to load while I'm reading the current page. Not a good idea at all. It also cheapens your site and makes you look like a stinge.

Thanks very much. Since the start of the year I've been learning everything myself from looking at code and tutorials and just working heaps at perfecting what I do. But ever since I got Photoshop 7, my graphics were so much better. I used to use CorelDRAW, but that just didn't cut it. Thanks again.

Well all I can say is that when I had a subdomain at a different web hosting community, my subdomain worked fine. When I changed to my TLD (Top Level Domain) I had to change where my FTP logged into to log into my TLD addresss.

Yeah they came here to Australia a couple of weeks ago. Pity I didn't buy my ticket immediately because they sold out in a matter of days. There's always next time.

It seems you are just trying to get your post count up high by posting similar threads, ie. "Most underrated artists" and "Most overrated artists". You could have made your post acctually count by posting your thoughts, but no. You decided to spam. *reported*

I'm on dailup, and it's not that bad for me to download.

To "vent" as to let off some steam, agression, thoughts. Also known as ranting. I myself like to vent off some steam every now and then. That's why I'm glad this forum has a thread just for that.

Unless you can design and implement your own phpNuke theme, I don't hold any respect for a phpNuke site. People everywhere have phpNuke as a website, and no one bothers to make their own decet skins. Every phpNuke site I see looks so generic and just like any other site. You have to seperate from the crowd for an effective web design.

If you're a flash n00b, I'd reccommend starting out with using Swish as most find it's easier to use than Flash. I remember finding it easy to use when they had it in a course at high school.

Does anyone here like In Flames the Swedish melodic death metal band?The reason why I'm asking about any In Flames fans is because they're touring in Australia and I'm going to go see them on Friday. Should be a rocking night.So, any fans?
