Hmm.... I'm not much of a fan for google because the homepage is sort of plain, and I don't really have much to search about. I think the site I always come back to is Yahoo. I know it takes a while to load for the slower servers but I think it's quite a good site because it has headlines and quicklinks on the homepage so people don't have to actually look up the latest news because it's alredy on the front page. Also I like it because it has the quick links to a lot pf places like the games area and mailbox and entertainment, unlike google where you have tollok up all the google related sites. Most of google's sites are hidden unless you click one of the links down the bottom which transfers you to a page with all the links. Sometimes I never even knew that google had a page like that (e.g: gmail-I only knew about it a few weeks ago), and google earth, I only knew about that when I went on the schools computers. I think I would like google if they could make their links a little more obvious and be more specific about their names, I mean: "Froogle"???? (NOTE: I am totally aware that this makes google unique, however, it does mislead and irritate people). Google has pretty cool links and content stuff but, half of the google creations, I'm not even aware that they existed!! So Yahoo is the site I most like to visit-> specific, clear and simple!

Hey, thats good, when I'm using Firefox, it doesn't do that stupid reloading thing again!! Hooray! Thanks rejected! Even though I don't really like using this browser, I suppose it'll just have to work until they've got the updates worked out.

Hey, I know what you mean. It happened to me with a few pages ago but now it's fine. Don't worry it should go away, if not, don't hit X , just click STOP in your browser and it should stop reloading. I have another problem. I can't seem to be able to create a new topic or enter the general talk forum.

By the way, the header at your site is a little hard to read, if you don't mind me being frank. thats quite a unique idea for a site. I don't think I've ever come across a site like your's. Um... Ok, simulation games, right? I recommend The Sims 2! It's is my favourite game, apart from FFX on PS2. It is the coolest game, you can build your own sims(characters/people) and run their lives! You can get them married, get them into a career and you can also watch them grow old! By the way, you can also build their houses with over 225+ items!! Fridge, stove, TV, bed, Pool, seat, curtains...EVERYTHING!! It is such a cool game!! I love it!! And at the moment it really isn't that expensive to purchase either.... maybe around $20-$40 in australian dollars or if your in US you may get it for cheaper! They've also got this expansion pack called University, where you can watch your sims go to college/Uni. There's also this other expansion pack in development as well it's called Nightlife. Where your sims can go to restaurants and party all night!! I'm especially looking forward to that expansion pack. Gameplay and graphics are excellent!! The gameplay is really fun and quite challenging (unless you have the cheats on) and the graphics are awesome, real 3D graphics that run really smoothly. But you might need a really good graphics card to run this game and also a large hard drive is recommended too because the game takes up a whopping 1+ Gigabytes! But I think it's well worth it, the game is just a superb piece of work and I'm just a huge fan of it!! Do play this game, I guarrantee you wont get bored (unless you've played for like 5+ years). Other than that FANTASTIC!!

Are we talking about the mobile phone which has a slim design? Sorry I don't really know the code names for the phones but if we are talking about phone, I'm quite surprised. Well, actually my friends got that phone and she likes it, I think. Actually at the start, I thought it could record videos because the in-built lens looked as if it could do that and also the phone originally had a video on it to play. But then I found out that you can't RECORD videos, you can only PLAY videos. I suppose that was one downside to it. Once I saw my friend trying to take her sim card out but then it took her ages just to get the back cover off, because of the design. I don't think you can change the cover of that phone either....When I come to think about it, there is quite a lot of downsides to that mobile phone. But I still sort of like it, because the design looks really modern and also because it's a colour phone! (my phone doesn't have colour, it's really old )

Aww... your so unlucky. It seems really unfair how your mum doesn't allow you to drink and that she thinks drinking is bad when she is pretty much contradicting herself when she drinks it too... how ironic! Eventhough, I don't really know how you feel at the moment, you have my sympathy I think your mother is just worried and maybe a little paranoid about people drinking after the accident your brother had. I suppose she doesn't want that to occur with in your family again. BUT, again, she shouldn't be so stubborn all the time and say that every little thing that happens in your life has something to do with beer/drinking!! I mean, it was her noodles that tasted yuck in the first place, right? (sorry, no offence to your mother, I'm just venting ) Oh, I feel so sorry for you! Yes, I agree with sprnknwn, just try and ignore her, once she knows that the stuff she's talking about isn't taking any effect on you, she'll know that that's the time for her to "close the subject, once and for all". Hopefully this will come soon for you, so that you don't have to keep on hearing it from your mother.

Hmm... I suppose, sport does take quality time out of some prgograms, however, if you're somewhat of a "mad cricket fan" like me, you just would n't find it that annoying, and also you'd feel priveleged. I was watching the cricket last night and the atmosphere in the lounge room was so exhilirating! Every ball that was bowled, took my breath away.. ! But, if they're cutting programs just to play sports like football or rugby than, I would be venting it all out, myself because I have no interest in watching those sports. So I suppose it really is dertermined on your personal preference. Somethings you'd hate to see because it stops a show that you wanted to watch however in other poeple's view they find it no problem because they enjoy watching cricket/football/rugby. Hehe, your personal preference is one factor that makes you unique...

Ooh, cool... my favourite cartoons are: Winnie the Pooh, Tom and Jerry, the simpsons and Initial D (which is anime but it's still a cartoon in broad view). I most frequently watch The Simpsons, because it is so funny!

I like to read, write, cook and also I like webdesigning. Yup right in front of the computer. I sometimes watch TV, when i can remove myself from the PC!!

Bzzz...! Sims 2, my favorite game! I sometimes use bodyshop, and trust me, I am so NOT good at it. I don't really understand how to use it. I know how to recolour and add images to the clothing but other than that, I have no idea how to work the program.

Now, now lets be calm now and view the situation in an orderly manner. But then again, xclawx, are you seriously advertising for some freeware on this forum? It waould be wise not to do that because you may recieve a negative email from Xisto. Eventhough, I've never recieved one, I believe it wouldn't be a good thing.

Blinding Colours & blended text And I thought flashy .gifs weren't enough. Blinding colours on your website, like the background or borders and stuff are really annoying. It really does hurt people's eyes whenever they've just visited a site with dark colours or if they've just woken up . Especially if people have been staring at your backgound for ages. Colours such as fluro yellow, pink, teal etc, to me are classed as "blinding colours". These colours should really not be used, unless you want to blind your visitors or if you're attempting to gain attention. I can assure you that this is the worst way to make your site stand out. Oh, don't get me wrong, you're site will stand out, it'll be the runner up for the most "blinding/irritating site on the web!". Blended text is something that I am not very fond of either. Text and backgound combinations such as yellow text on a white bg or black text on a navy bg. These are VERY bad colour combinations and I suggest that people should not use them-eventhough many still do. Text is mainly the most important part in your site, because it usually represents your content (duh!) unless you have a graphic site, in that case your graphics should be your main content. But both ways, you will still require text to present your graphics/content. BUT... of course, your visitors could always highlight the text to read it, but that may be a problem if you have right click turned off. Wouldn't you just help your visitors that little bit by using some regular colours on your text that don't require a lot of effort to read? In conclusion >>Try not to use fluro colours (fluro yellow, purple, pink, teal, aqua etc) as your background colour. You want your visitors to STAY st your site, not to BLIND them. >>Try to choose some regular color combinations for your background and text so that they do not appear blended, thus creating a problem for your visitors to read. Some examples are: black text on white backgound or vice versa. OR try to remember these rules I've thought up: "dark on light OR light on dark". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope this helps some people, but if it doesn't, it's quite a boring read..

My favourite Tv Show I think at the moment is The OC. I really like the setting of it and the characters, even though I find it a little annoying with their american accents . The storyline is quite..... "interesting" as well, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Eventhough i've only seen some episodes, I think it's a show that is well worth a watch.. I think the new season is out already in FOX, but it still hasn't played here where I live... I think I might lend the episodes for Season 1 from my friend because she's got the box set.. hehe

I love this game!! It's one of my most favourite games apart from The sims 2. I really like the CG graphics... I was stunned at the first sight of Zanarkand! The storyline was brillantly written as well, the characters too.... I've finished the game once and after quite some time I was able to accumulate all of the aeons, including anima, magus sisters and yojimbo (but yojimbo was a little costly, BUT his Zanmato attack was well worth it!). My favourite location in FFX was the calm lands. Such a large open sapce to roam-eventhough it was a bit of pain to walk through it the first time . I've also played the sequel to this game (FFX-2), that one was a little short but I felt better after playing it and watching the ending after seeing the ending in FFX I was really sad and down for a while. I reckon thie is the best game I have ever played, fantastic job by SquareEnix or formerely SquareSoft.

Well for me, I use: yahoo, gmail and hotmail. But I don't really use hotmail as often as I do with Yahoo and Gmail because, for some reason I find the hotmail user interface is as "user friendly", for ME that is, I also don't really like using hotmail because of a very bad experience with it, once I was typong a message and I forgot to attach a file so I clicked away to attach it then when I came back to my message, it was all wiped out. Leaving me with an empty space to fill in again. I'm not sure if that happens now, but it did to me and I becasme so frustrated that I just didn't even bother with that email. Anyway, I prefer the easy looking interfaces like yahoo, eventhough they have a lot of ads. I also like the space that they give... I thnk it was 2GB or something. Lots of storage space. I used this account for quite a while until I was invited to use gmail and then I began seeing myslef use gmail more and more frequently. I used to visit my yahoo mailbox, like once a day but now I hardly visit it once a week. Because I use gmail more. It's true gmail does have pretty much what yahoo does, it still has ads but, not that type of ads that take a long time to load but those text ads and they also relate to your mails too. Also, gmail is quicker, less ads, your emails are like conversations and also instead of the XXXX@yahoo.com.(jp/ca/au), you can just have XXXX@gmail.com. I find it kinda cool...Oh yes, I currently like using gmail more than any other email services.

I don't know If I posted it in the right place but here goes:I'm a little worried at the moment because I applied for free hosting a few hours ago. I've checked on the web hosting requests page to see if I've been accepted and I see everyone whom requested for hosting before and after me, had been accepted. Leaving only me. I am pretty sure that I did make it to the 10 credit mark... my request hasn't been accepted or deleted.Is there something wrong with my posts or haven't they reached my request yet? If that is the case, I'll just wait and see then.

Hmmm... good question. Well I guess the best way I think I can think as my best way is firstly in the previous night sleep early. I wake up early in the morning. Take a nice warm shower to get your muscles going and to freshen up. Then I go into the kitchen and make myself two slices of raison toast(if any, or else white bread). Then I sit down and enjoy my toast with a nice glass of orange juice (preferably 100% orange juice with no added sugar). After that, if I woke up early enough I could then pack all my necessary books and stuff for uni. Then I either try my luck at running to the Uni or catch a bus but mostly I catch a bus, it doesn't make me tired and also my back wont ache if I was running with, say.... three text books in my bag?! And then my day would proceed as normal.Well, i try to start my day of as healthy as possible but sometimes I'm in such a hurry to get to class, I just grab my books and bolt out of the house!? Well i's not my fault that I'm occasionally lazy, right?
