  1. I seldom watch television channels on the TV. Instead, I hook up my computer to my TV using S-video and RCA audio cables. I enjoy it much more than regular TV. I download tons of movies onto my external hard drive and have my movies to watch whenever I want to.The best thing about having to connect the computer to the TV is the fact that I can play 8-bit games on a big screen. I have a Classic NES USB controller that I can use with a USB extension cord to play SNES/NES games.

  2. the thing that is bad about gogle is they turned gmail into you need to send a text verification message to be able to create a email account, in my opinion that is plain dumb because then it becomes not free it has a little cost.

I believe that this only happens either when you create a mass amount of email accounts or you have incorrectly entered the CAPTCHA numerous times. These are the only times that I have ever had GMail prompt me to use text verification. If this happens, I usually just switch browsers or sign up for a GMail account on a different computer.

  3. One petabyte is an insane amount of space. I also want to point out that its been 4, almost 5 years now and I haven't seen a 1 petabyte harddrive anywhere near $750 :) Anyways, it's pretty useless at the moment right now since we do not need anywhere near that much space. Let's see, the time it takes to download a petabyte of data from a standard T1 connection would take about 65 consecutive years to download. Maybe a few years from now, there will be a use for a petabyte harddrive but certainly now is not the time for them.Actually, I believe that there will be very few uses for a petabyte harddrive for now. I DO believe that there are many uses for companies nowadays. Google processes about 24 petabytes of data per day and many other companies like Valve Steam and Blizzard use this type of data storage to maintain their games/software.

  4. I believe that there are only a few Bux Sites that are legit such as NeoBux and OnBux because I actually have had a good experience with these sites. I started using Neobux around a year ago with no initial investment and I am currently making $80/monthly pure profit. I've heard rumors that the owner OnBux (a pretty new bux site) is the same as NeoBux but I can't clarify that. Nonetheless, I have still had a very good experience with OnBux. I would say that bux sites are a gamble if you don't have a solid strategy on handling referrals but they are VERY profitable. This guy on the NeoBux forums made a 10 thousand dollar cash out.Bux sites also require patience. Most people will join a bux site, find out that they will only make like four cents a day, and leave without ever realizing the full potential of the bux site. Not all bux sites are legit though. Sites like bux.to have the word SCAM stamped on them. Before I ever join a GPT site, I always check the reviews and the programs. I believe that Aurora sites are much slower than bux sites but they are more stable and reliable.

  5. I have one to add :) I asked one of my friends if I could see his laptop and as he reached for the laptop, he hit his head against the edge of the wooden desk. He got a teeny bit agitated and accidentally threw his laptop across the room as he was acting hastily and his hands were sweaty. It was an Asus Eee PC so it was pretty small. The screen cracked and some of the hardware was damaged so he just bought a new one. Estimated Cost of Repair: $350

  6. 7. He doesn't have a singing talent, really, if you compare him to other artists (and even to people who aren't famous). He just has a good publicist.

I wouldn't say that he doesn't have a singing talent. He has lots of talent but you will find people (including me) who don't like his singing style. However, I believe most of the haters come from bandwagon. I actually think his songs are pretty catchy but I could only listen to them through covers from people.

From the looks of it, it seems as if Justin Bieber has way more haters than fans. If you look at his "Baby" music video on YouTube, you will find that there are more dislikes than likes. If it weren't for the girls having "Bieber Fever", he wouldn't be where he is today.

Truthfully, I think that people like Alex Goot and Sam Tsui deserve much more than they do now. These people are the people who have real talent and should get signed.

  8. Game Soundtracks I like:
    - Persona Portable 3
    - Kingdom Hearts Series
    - Suikoden II
    - Silent Hill Series
    - Fatal Frame Series
    - Ragnarok Online

Too lazy to explain, but most of them are awesome.

xDDD, I love how this is the second time that you posted in this thread. Anyways, I completely forgot about Ragnarok! While I am at it, I also really like the Minecraft piano background music. ;)

  9. I love listening to video game soundtracks. I like the Kingdom Hearts soundtracks. It reminds me of those days back when I was in elementary school and I was emotionally attached to that game. The soundtrack probably added most of the emotions into the game. I also like the Dynasty Warriors/Dynasty Tactics soundtracks.

  10. Violin and Piano, cool! I'd love to hear some of this music you recorded.

I think I might upload a song on YouTube. I just got a Samson CO1U condenser microphone so I might try it out. The only thing that sucks is that I have no preamp but at least it sounds better than a camera or a webcam.

By the way, I apologize for the late reply. :P

  11. I love it, but I can't explain why. The game engine is so simple, but it really feels like the possibilities are endless. My friend was talking about it the other day- trying to get me to play it- but he refused to describe the game. Looking back I think he realized I'd have found the concept of breaking blocks for hours on end rather lame.I had a go on Alpha at a friends house (I'm too poor for that $10 price tag..) and found the new gaming style intriguing. I enjoyed the construction aspect most of all. That, and the random animals that just squiggle around the map doing bugger all.. :P

I believe that there is always something to do as long as you use your imagination. The only thing that I do not like is the fact that the game looks like complete crap and looks boring until you actually get to experience the game. I make my friends watch SeaNanner's videos on YouTube because he provides some awesome commentary and shows how fun the game really is.

Notch is coming out with a Halloween update on the 31st of October which is going to be pretty exciting. The game keeps adding new things. I can not wait to see what the game is going to be like when it enters the Beta stage or even the full release. :)

  12. I was wondering if anyone here played Minecraft. It is a little game designed by Notch with around 355,000 purchases ever since May 19, 2009. If you look at the statistics, you can see that around 7,000 - 10,000 people are purchasing the game every 24 hours which is pretty amazing.

If you are wondering what Minecraft is, it is pretty much a game where you can build objects out of blocks while trying to survive. When you first start a game, a completely randomized terrain is created for you and you spawn in the middle of nowhere. The objective for most people is to build a shelter before nightfall. Some people build houses, some might build a cave into a mountain and some might even create a shelter underwater.

The reason you should build your shelter before nightfall is because night is when zombies come out (of course you can disable zombies in the 'options' menu but in my opnion, that would kill the game). Anyways, zombies LIKE the darkness. In the morning when the sun starts rising, you can see the zombies catch on fire one-by-one. :)

There is actually no point in this game. All of the goals and achievements are set by the players and the number of ideas you can have in this game are endless. The terrain is your playground that can almost never get used up. I recommend that you check out SeaNanners' channel on YouTube for live commentary of the game.

You should also know that I have noticed some things while playing the game.

The animals in the game like to swim and jump in the water.

You will also see animals humping a random object.

If you try to create a fireplace in your wooden house, it might catch on fire.

Zombies like to creep up behind you a lot.

Most monsters (except for skeletons) are easier to kill underwater.

    You can defy gravity o.O

    Chickens may suicide. (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/)

TNT is very dangerous (and fun).

The game is very fun. It's currently in Alpha right now so there are a lot of glitches. The game costs 9.95 euros during Alpha but will go up to 20 euros once the game goes into beta. There is a multiplayer mode at the moment but damage has not been implemented yet. Also, if you ask anyone who plays Minecraft, they will recommend you to try it out unless they hit their head pretty hard.

  13. I joined this site a week or two ago, and in that short time I've learned soo much. Reading random posts in the portal, commenting then reading the replies, and looking at links that people post. To think that people would abuse this site just for the sole purpose of self advertisement, is...is...pathetic!Anyways, welcome to the site, I'm a newbie too, so I can't tell you much, but Welcome and I hope you love this site as much as me! ^_^

I have been strolling through this site and it is indeed full of knowledge hence the name of the forum. I pretty sure that I will enjoy this site. The site makes it enjoyable to earn free hosting + a TLD and I hope I can get to meet some pretty awesome people here. :)

  14. I don't use a speed dial on my browser so my only homepage would have to be swagbucks.com . It's a search engine just like Google that rewards you with points (SB) randomly when you search that you can redeem for prizes like $5 Paypal.IF I had a speed dial, my other pages would probably be:Facebook - I always have this tab open.Xisto - Woooot! :)NeoBux - A PTC that I useOnBux - Another PTC that I useMail.com - I have an email registered hereGMail - I have an email registered hereGaia Online - I come on here occasionally

  15. Any interests aside from music and building a site about it? You know, things we could relate to, like do you like a certain movie or actor? Do you play video games and stuff? That'd help, that's usually what I ask first so I know I can click with a certain person.

Over the the summer, I pretty much spent all my time on video games (I kind of regret it though). Anyway, I usually just played MMOs on the computer like Maplestory, Mabinogi, etc. Sometimes, I went to my friends house to play Modern Warfare 2 but that's about it. Now that school has begun, I seldom play video games.

I also watch some Naruto Shippuden when I get bored. Right now, I am around episode 80ish right now so I am pretty far away from where most people are.

  16. That sounds really interesting Illustrious musician-san. I've been into art music lately (since it's one of the classes I'm taking in the University), so I guess we'll get along fine. You are the concertmaster of what orchestra? I have recently seen the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra with their Maestro Olivier Ochanine during Sayaka Kokubo's stay here in the Philippines, so I'm slightly interested in orchestras nowadays.

I currently play in the ________ Symphony Orchestra (the blanked out word is to insure my privacy so I don't get stalked one day by some dude).

But, anyway, welcome to Xisto - let me be the first to say that, and we hope you enjoy your stay here. If you're looking to get webhosting services from here, I think the first thing to do would be to sign up at Xisto in order to get MyCents for your posts. ^_^

Alrighty, I signed up at the Xisto billing site. I also ensured that I used the same email address that I used to sign up on this site. ;)

  17. I am Illustrious [15] (my alias for this site). The reason why I decided to join Xisto was because I was searching up ways to get free TLD's and I came across this site. I thought the idea of posting on the forum to earn credits (myCent) was a neat idea and was something I would like to give a try. I went through some of the forums and it seems as if everyone is pleased with the services that are offered here at Xisto.A little bit about myself. I absolutely love music! I play the violin and the piano and I enjoy playing it very much. I have been playing the violin for six years and am Concertmaster of the orchestra that I currently play in. I have been self teaching myself the piano for the past three years. The reason why I was interested in developing a website was because I wanted to archive all of my musical recordings that I recorded with my condenser microphone. I used a WYSIWYG editor for a while until I was told that coding sites from scratch is more effective so I just recently started learning HTML. Since most people here are web developers, this forum will be very convenient for me.Always smile :)
