I would like to mention here that after reading these lists you will find that some websites have lists that differ from the lists on the others. Well the actual reason for this is beyond the scope of my understanding but I think that there may be some marketing techniques involved to make a certain keyword more weighty through these websites.

The keyword mesothelioma has a rate of 84 $. This does not necessarily means that if you make a webpage optimized for the word mesothelioma and succeed in getting the google ad for the same keyword and when the ad is clicked you get $84. In fact the best possibility is somewhere near to this value no exactly this value because it is the amount the google charges its customers (Advertizers) for this keyword. This means that if you want to display an ad through the google adsense network and the keyword of your ad is mesothelioma then you have to pay $84 to google when this ad is clicked.
As far as the publisher is concerned, Google will surely not pay you all what it gets from advertizers. Google will surely keep its share.
But there is another twist to the story as well. It is not as simple as making a MESOTHELIOMA optimized website and getting the ads for the same and becoming rich. The money you get through the click of ads on your website largely depends upon the status and reputation of your website in the eyes of Google and the Advertizer. The same ad clicked on different websites will earn the webmasters different money. I hope you understand this.
It is only possible to get a CPC of something near to the actual cost of the ad if you have a very very high reputation site (I suggest page rank of 9 or at least 8) Otherwise you are going to earn much less than you think

We the surfers decide the value of keywords in adwords. When you type the keyword and hit search it returns you the keywords for which the sites comes. In the right sidebar and at the top the paying keyword based sites are bidding for the keyword results. So it is totally depends on the demand of the keyword. Financial and gambling, casino or other money related and medical related keywords costs high. Technology keywords though in a lot of demand are usually less bidded for. This is because it is saturated. it's hard to earn 10$ onwards for technology related text link ads. if you get more than 10 bucks on that consider yourself lucky that you got good keyword.


You're right people can use this keyword and make service. In fact many people do that. Go to sites like seochat and warriorforum. You'll find that there are some sites which make use of these keywords and are earning a lot. Not all can make it to this type of thing as many people can't write article or content based on these keywords and because of which they can't earn much on google adsense. I'm trying to write articles on 5$-10$ keywords articles which are in technology niche.It's hard to get clicks from this niche as most of people don't click on ads. Technology and many money niche is saturated and now look at these high keyword niches but they're less saturated because people demand quality information in these keywords. It's hard to get quality information or even to get content n these keywods and that makes it hard for us to use these keywords.

No one in the google decides to make a keyword less or more expensive. The factors that decide how costly a keyword is going to be are external to google. These are simple business happenings that make a keyword so expensive. Let me explain it for you.
We know that publishers have very tough competition for good and high paying google ads to be displayed on their website but this rule not only applies to publishers but advertisers as well. They also have tough competitions for good google adwords. Since the number of quality websites for the keywords I had mentioned in the first post are very limited and since the adverizers wants their ads for the specific adword to be displayed on quality sites therefore a competition develops among the advertisers and this competition make them pay more and more for a respective adword. So they try to bid high and high and the result is such a high cost for a specific keyword. If I at this very moment bid $100 per click on the adword computer then the keyword computer will become the most costly keyword. So it all depends upon how much the advertisers are willing to pay for a specific ad.

True. The cost is the factor which is based on searches. The number of searches made for the query increases the amount of position. The higher your position for the PPC ads the better result and more your ad will be shown. So it's not set by any merchant or advertiser but more of user defined searching decides the price.

I see television ads all the time for mesothelioma lawyers so it must be making someone money (most likely not the victims). I guess getting mesothelioma cases on Google is very lucrative, otherwise no one would pay those prices.It also might be that the number of clicks is fairly low. There is a high supply of lawyers but a low demand for them. Thus a true mesothelioma click may only happen every week or so.
