More or less the same thing just happened for me.It appears to be so that when you get an upgrade (that is, when you process your upgrade), your hosting credits get reset to 3 days, no matter how many you had before.

Probably because Teap17 / Xisto is combining the forum username, credits and posts together with the webhsting accaunt, really cool. This might be a bug, or the admins made it so that people will keep posting after an pdate and wont go inactive for a long period of time

It's not written anywhere that I know of. It happened to me, and since you noticed that you had 2.98 days worth after you upgraded (which might have been because you checked after about 30 minutes after processing, 30 minutes ~ 0.02 days). So I thought: Hey I got my credits reduced to 3 days after upgrading, same happened to you. Perhaps it happens for everyone.

I hope this is just a bug that can be fixed without too much trouble :D

IT has been done on purpose and it is not a bug. When you request an upgrade, you are requesting a service. Since some members are denied and some continue to post, We cannot come to know how many are spam. We generally assume that the member is going to request as soon as he gets his required creditts and We reset it.We also did not feel to mention it because it is written on the main page that you require 10 credits for Upgrade to Package 1 , 25 for package 2 and so on.. Anyway, I will make a note about it.

yes, I don't really think changing the credits to 3 is a good way to do it. Right now, I am on plan 2 (i think) and if I wanted to upgrade... i would lose all my credits (save 3)? So, the spammers would get their upgrade without losing much because they wouldn't have built up many credits... while the people who are active lose more... it seems like people are punished for being active.

yeah, I too feel so.. coz someone who has genuinely put up effort and built credits wud lose all of them just on an upgrade. What I feel is a better solution is that: when u upgrade a fixed number of credits could be deducted say 20 or 25 or maybe more (just for example) depending on package. So the credits would not come down entirely. Also since he has accumulated credits. Just a suggestion...
