Web Designers Can Have A Myspace Too!

Did you ever wonder if there was a one stop "shop" for web designers? Well there is, and it is better than a shop. It is a free compilation of websites and tutorials on Html, color, css, font, icons, images, tutorials, widgets and even some inspiration thrown in to keep you company. This is all linked together into one toolbox website.

And where does the mySpace concept come in? Since this is a toolbox you can add your own tools to the toolbox and it will stay up on the website for 30 days.

I don't find MySpace as being a tool. I think web designers can just use their own website as a tool for their skins and etc.MySpace, I don't see anything to make web design any easier.xboxrulz

Well I don't really get the myspace connection here, but I can say that this website does seem like a nice tool....kind of like a way to have a ton of references in one place all categorized....I saw this on digg and thought it seemed like there were a ton of nice tools on it, so I would recommend it to others as well...

YeahAs far as any MySpace reference is concerned, I don't get it.But the rest of that site seems like a nice compilation of tutorials and references that I'll likely find a use for sometime in the future.

I also don't see the Myspace connection. But none-the-less, it does look like an interesting site. It's nice to see so many references in one place. I haven't actually looked into the things in this site, but if things are done well enough, explained I mean, then it is a good place to stop by and check into.

I don't think I could connect both MySpace and having actual skill in web designing together. Most kids that use that thing don't now a lick of basic HTML and yet boast so much after their pre-made themes are up and running. They're not going to make any effort, as long as it looks better than someone elses. Plus, if you're serious about web designing then you should know that MySpace is probably the worse place to try your hand at, since the average page can crash a person's computer if they're over-filled with a lot of junk that they put on it (too much videos, .gifs, background music). It's just a better deal if you were to learn from a legitimate site like W3 schools instead of a place where animated .gifs as a background are considered 'nice'.

The site is nice, but I point-blank don't see the connection between it and Myspace. Why would you need Myspace to get the tutorials in the site? Couldn't you just access the sites, grab the tutorials you want, and then leave? Since when does accessing a site need Myspace? And Myspace is NOT a good place to host your site, especially if you want clients to take you seriously. Myspace already has the bulk of the bad reputation for horribly designed interfaces, so you don't want to tarnish your reputation by hosting there. Even if you CAN design nicely on Myspace, just don't do it. There's no point in ruining your public reputation all over one site nor is there point in spending extra time (cough*wasting extra time*cough) on getting your site to work well in Myspace.You could easily make your site work nicely elsewhere, and make it standards-compliant in the mean time.

IMO myspace is horrible. Many users can't even use <br> and Myspace doesn't allow php and its CSS methods suck.I don't think its a tool but a nuisance.Its just *BLEEP* to be blunt.

Myspace is more for young people i think.

I'm still trying to understand your myspace concept. I don't have a myspace account (and I'm refusing to get one), but I can't remember having seen a myspace page that has toolboxes like in the link you just gave.Anyways, thanks for the page, it's well designed, has a good structure so I guess I'll visit it from time to time (when I'm back in a webdesigner mood ).ps. myspace isn't just for youngsters. A lot of musicians have a myspace too and some new musicians are being discovered through myspace (eg. Secondhand Serenade).

It seems like a lot of people don't like myspace I use it as a social-networking tool, and I think that it is okay. I do agree that there are too many people on MySpace focused just on their own image, but if they want to do so, then it doesn't bother me. About the website, it seems like a great collection of links. It's also cool that you can register to add your own links to the website, so that users can contribute.

I think MySpace is just as bad as Piczo. Both these website suck. I rather stick with Facebook and have a webhosting account for my website where I can do anything legal I want to do.xboxrulz

I started using Myspace in college, so I could have all my pals on it. But as far as anything professional, I would not link a professional site to myspace, but I would put my professional site on myspace... I would probably make a community if I had the right networking... I would want my friends to be able to interact dealing with my site, but then again only enought UNTIL they would get to my site... my my it sounds like a lot of babble as I am typing!I thing used correctly, you could do some kind of advertising via myspace, but only like a banner or some blog for it... simply because it is such a popular media... I think there could be a lot that could be done to make myspace better, but then again, when 500 zillion people on this earth are already eating it up SOOOO much, why really sweat it trying to change or do a lot more to it. I played with myspace... and as a Designer, I had fun making the appearance and layout fun... now I just let it sit and add people... I don't really see myself making it all gaudy like 99% of the population did... I mean glitter here and there... man it can really turn your stomach somedays!Myspace = blog with really really really cool 'blingage'.... yes, a culture that makes blingage a style...But, really... what else could it be referred to? How crazy of a comment that you can send to mass friends. (Not trying to ruffle feathers by the blingage term... but when you go to a page that says pimpmyspace...
