Anonymous Email Send an anonymous email

Recommended Posts

I get "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" as well. I suppose this could be quite funny for sending prank emails to mates, but in reality, I think this kind of thing is illegal. Some fraudsters use stuff like this to send emails to people pretending to be from their bank, and then ask for their password. I personally know someone that this happened to - the email and the site they linked too was so convincing that even the bank's site managers/designers were fooled by it.

I got a "could not find" message. The site seems to have been deleted. Because the code was illegal as said above maybe? I would only use it to use it to prank friends anyway. What was the script written in anyway, php, perl?

If you can find a server running a older version of sendmail, you may be able to telnet into port 25 and do an anonymous email. OR, if you have an older version of sendmail installed on your freebsd firewall you can do the same thing ;-) (hashbang's freebsd fire is rather old hehehehe)Here's what you do:telnet to the server port 25 (telnet aserver.com 25)If you get a command prompt ... then try:helo a_bogus_email@whereever.commail from: a_bogus_email@whereever.comrcpt to: the_person_you_are_tricking@their address.comdatawrite your message. (to complete type a period on a seperate line at the end)You can get more complicated and whatnot but ... that's the basics.cheershashbang

Here's the problem with "Anon" email. Every server that the email bounces off of tags the email and saves its information. I mean these things are easier to track than a FedEx package. All you need is an IP address and the time and you can have the FBI knocking on the door of the sender in just a few hours. Just remember, unless you are a talented hacker everytime you connect to the internet you a assigned a unique IP address which is tracked by your service provider as well as each server that you connect to.So, if you want to attempt to send anonymous emails at least try to mask your IP address first.Happy incarceration, :) vujsa
