I have a 404 showing when trying to add a new page on hyperlink Cpanel-->File Manager

Hi guys!

I've just copied my index html file (cpanel) so I can make new pages say for e.G its my about us page.

then I tried to activate it with hyperlink on the index html page but  all I get on my website is 404 error when clicking on the link 

Could someone please explain how I went wrong?

Try putting your html code for the link. If you have uploaded the about us page and have link it properly, no way should the 404 error appear.
