You have quite a few other options if you want to use css (which I prefer): you can set the visibility to hidden, the display to none, the height/width to 0px or the location to off the screen. A few of them take a bit of tweeking, but they're pretty easy to impliment. You could also probably create img tags in your html directly with height and width attributes set to 0, but some older browsers ignore resizing images, or handle it badly. I'm also not sure that all browsers (Opera?) will bother caching the image if it's 0px. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
