I dont like that search in your banner because it looks like someone sliced it from another site! Fix that! but the page doesnt look bad, just fix banner!

its very busy... you have like 7 or 8 different colors going on in there and a lot of unnecessary "stuff". The blue box, for example, doesn't really need to be there, it just distracts the eye, and having really strong 3d effects all over doesn't help. I'd try to cut down the colors to 3 or so ones that look OK together (maybe the blue, red and tan?), get rid of the 3D effects, and lighten the text in the navigation bar (black on blue is sort of hard to read). :P

For the top half of the page, the colour scheme does not have yellow in it. The colours are red, orange, blue and the #ECE9D8. In my opinion, the text "Reverse Address Lookup" below the banner looks out of place because it's yellow. I'm not too confident that the blue text on the red background next to that looks that good either. I'd experiment with other text/background combinations.

In the navigation, the black text doesn't go well on the darkish blue background. Although not illegible, it does make it difficult to read.

Now, being a bit picky, I'll suggest one more thing and that is to do with the navigation menu, which I think will be best described through the use of a picture :P

It's a nice visual enhancement.

I also have the same problem with the banner as TypoMage.

Best of luck with the site. I rate its design 7.5/10.

I'm agreeing with all the colour comments..The blue and red don't suit each other, and the bright yellow saying "BACKGROUND CHECK NEWS ARTICLES" is not very attractive either. The second block under the should have been the same blue as the block on top, or the blue should be turned into that yellow (which would suit the red more). The little block at the top with Address City and State doesn't really need to be there since there is the same thing directly below it, and also the white around it looks terrible. The little black nav links should be a colour that stands out more, I think. It does look interesting though, good luck!

I quite like the design of this website, but I feel the background colour is too white. I don't think the background would be as bad if the text was a bit darker. They text which is a grey colour on top of the white background strains your eyes after a while. The purple, blue and red banner doesn't really fit with the design. The rest of your site uses a white, grey, red and black colour scheme, so this banner really stands out as something completely different. Also, there is a big black rectangle at the bottom of this image which doesn't look right. If you were able to remove this black bit and change colours to fit the colour scheme of your site, maybe white and grey, I think it would look a lot better. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate this site about 7/10.

Sorry,But the text looks messy to me, I mean they are not properly alligned... Maybe you could have them in a cell or smth with a nice border? And also the banner looks dull to me.. the rest is fine :P

Well I won't beat the banner to death, but the problem I see is that are you even certified that you can do background checks, for all we know you could just be storing info what what people use and then use that for your own gains. Especially since you have a social security search on there. On top of that how good is your security of the information that is being typed into your website as well. I would be very cautious with typing that kind of info in there.
