I always appreciate the time and effort the moderators spend making this a better place to hang out. Only thing is, they haven't had much of anything to do in recent months, it's been ages since we've had any heated topics come up, we hardly have any posts at all, let alone heated arguments.

 

So.....is Ginger the new, politically correct term for Red head? Just asking, I don't get out much.

Ginger is the name of a plant (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ginger )

Look at the unofficial uncyclopedia mentionned in the starter topic, in order to make your own opinion. I would not say that is it's really politically correct, depending from the person using this word.

Yes, knew it was a plant. But liberals are forever changing the way we talk and express ourselves, consider the media hype over nonsense topics like changing the name of a ball team the Redskins because it will offend native americans, or no longer using the term freshman for first year collage students because it has the word "man" in it and that might be considered sexist by some idiot. Personally, I think it's stupid. People shouldn't be so whinny and thin skinned.

Ha-ha, some people say "man" instead of "human being", a human could be a man or a woman.

By the way, did you notice that the "non offending" text disapeared from the starting topic?

No, guess I missed the disappearing text. I'm a bit slow sometimes.

I miss the good old days when you could laugh and not have to feel guilty about it. If something was funny, we laughed. It was a lot healthier that way. Now everyone is afraid to open their mouth for fear of offending some thin skinned liberal whiner. Except me, I love to bash liberals. Don't care if I offend them. They can just kiss my royal red white and blue American hillbilly *bottom* if they don't like it. Ok, make hillbilly jokes. Go for it! If they are funny I will laugh!

O' thou art the moderators of Xisto, thee behold immense power in the lea, guards against spam so artsy, and ye create new topics with glee.

 

Let's pick a day of the calendar and name it Xisto's Moderator day and pay our respects to all the moderators of the present and the past, and hope the forum grows with burgeoning goodness.
