Starburst Fx In Gimp

okay, in this simple tutorial i'm gonna show you how to make a starburst effect with gimp

first select your fg and bg, these will be your starburst's colors

use your Gradient (blend) tool to make a gradient

stroke through the canvas ( as shown above )

now go Filters > Distorts > Blinds

it should now look something like this:

now use filter Distorts > Poloar what ever

once finished it should look like this:

there you go! a perfect starburst in gimp!
