yordan 10 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 Why do you want this?Your home folder is for you, it's the only place where you are allowed to write. If you want a secret place or a protected place, put it somewhere else.I have nothing in my home folder, all my files are somewhere else. Each thing you do can be done somewhere else.At least, before changing your home folder permissions, you must create another standard user. So, in case you cannot login any more, the other user will be able to "su - root" and repair your errors.
