manuleka 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2011 i wanna create a restore point in Win 7 but have a curiosity if it's necessary to close all aps before running it or surfing the net and watching a movie shouldn't be too much of a problem?
yordan 10 Report post Posted September 17, 2011 nope! No need to close apps!Windows warns you when you have to close your apps, else yo can continue what you are doing.for instance surfing the web or watching a movie only changes temporary file things, it changes nothing in the registry or in system files.Simply avoid doing heavy installs (like .net things or new java versions or something similar), create the restore point just before that in order to be able to go back.By the way, do you have a full backup of your PC, a Norton Ghost or a CloneZilla bootable backup?
