abcmei 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Partition Assistant Home Edition is completely FREE partition manager software. It allows you to manage partition, redistribute disk space easily, and you can use it to perform more complicated partition operations on your hard disk, which like the commercial Partition Magic. This freeware home edition supports 32 bit Windows operating systems including Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. It can Resize and Move Partition, Extend System Drive, Repartition,Merge,Split Partition and so on. It's very convenient and magic for common users to acquire more advantages in disk partition management field. http://www.extend-partition.com/free-partition-manager.html Edited September 30, 2010 by yordan quoted the copied text. Quatrux 4 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 I just tried it and it's nothing special, for home users not all functions are available, so it's not as freeware as it could be, I tried to resize a partition, but nothing happened as it would be good to extend my C: disk in my workplace as it's almost full. yordan 10 Report post Posted September 30, 2010 @abcmei : please avoid double-posting, mods around here hate that. And do not forget to use quote tags if you really need to post copied text.@Quatrux : maybe it's not easy to extend the c: disk if you booted on this disk. I think that for this job you should better boot on an external disk (CD or flashdisk). gparted does that fine, and it's free, it boots off a CD or USB disk. Also see here : http://forums.xisto.com/topic/92590-topic/?findpost=1064366014
